Evening
So, its been about 18341234864563 million years but still, an updates an update, right? :P

Been really busy with the band, things are going really well. We have a new name since we have 2 new members.

::line up::

Vocals: Tom (not from the old band, a cool tom)
Guitar 1: Marc (me :P)
Guitar 2: Jonathan (from the old band)
Bass: Laura
Drums: Cam

the new name is Deadstar apparently, which is pretty cool I guess, although it means im gonna have to redesign some shirts or somethin'.

The musics going well, we have two songs almost finished, after we've got two more down we're going into a studio, we're penciled in for the end of June, which is cool. Then we have a gig in July with some other bands, so that'll be cool, getting to know some more local bands and stuff.

:o Meetsing Juu in soon also, going to be rather fun :P cant wait for that either :)

S.a.D
Yep yep, I know its only Juu who reads this but meh, thought i'd post somethin'.

So, its been really busy round here lately. We've got a new band lined up; Guitar 1: Me, Guitar 2: Jonathan. Bands called "Surrender at Dawn" (S.a.D). We've got a gig lined up as well. Theres about 12 other bands goin' and its being held inside this youth club thing and can hold like just over 150 people so that'll kick ass. Although it does mean I need a new guitar before July.

Im designing the flyers and tshirt design. So if any of you want tshirts, let me know lol.

yeah...theres other stuff but im tres lazy soooo yeah, laters ^_^

Sooo Jonathan managed to order our Atreyu tickets online, so we're going to see them in April I think he said it was. I dont like them as much as I used to but meh...should be fun. I always come back bleeding though...but its fun ^_^

Got the new Mad Capsule Markets album the other day also, its so great. Recommend it to everyone :P

Ummm...god I sleep too much to make these things interesting....I got the urge to by some fingerless gloves today also so i'll be "purchasing" some free ones tomorrow >_>...that so doesnt make sense...im sure you'll work it out :o

Didnt get chance to talk to juu properly last night either..which I waited up for...bah ¬_¬ :P ah well... I dont really have much else to say....I mean i've slept a good 14 hours so nothing really happened..

Well well...
I officially lose...thats right...as of Monday the 14th of February...:P I actually feel better now, which is good. I dont think im going to do "it" as often as I used to but I think 60 days..or 61 ¬_¬ is a bit too much. :P

Mhm, so thats that....i've got my college interview the same day we go to do that recording, which is kinda gay, although it does mean i'll miss pretty much all of that days lessons...which is less gay. ^_^

Rar .. so yeah, been playing a little more bass lately...god im good :P lol, yeah...anyways...been palying more bass and i've started doing all this new (to me) stuff, which is really cool that I can just pick it up and get right back into it. *sigh* I hEaRt moos-hac..

So yeah...this random update dedicated to Juu (you brought this on everyone) :P

Evening fuckers ^_^
so yeah...Day 14 of our little test. To see how long we can go without masturbating or any other form of sexual interaction. Like that movie 40 days and 40 nights, only our goals 60 days. x_x Was kind of a shock to the system at first but I think I might just get there :)

So yeah, on that weird note o_O ... yeah..the recording, bah, its not exactly what we thought. They're recording through the amps, which means there wont be any proper mixing going on. So its just gonna be like ... dunno...crappy probably. A recordings a recording I guess at this stage. Not really in a position to be picky.

I think thats about it...bastard valentines day soon though...great x_x

So yeah, this week was going well, in fact this school year was going really well. You see I have a really bad problem with my attendance. Last year my attendance was like 67%.. which isnt too great. And this week I came down with the flu or some shit that my bass teacher had, which sucks. Im feelin' a lot better though, so i'll be in school tomorrow.

Band stuff...yeah....this band im in now is starting to piss me off. We finally get a decent thing going, the music matches the image we wanted for the band, finally. And now the blodoy drummers making up his shitty songs (and they are shitty). His latest songs called "Fat Ed in the City" I mean come, what does this kid do all day? For fucks sake... I cant wait till me and jonathan go off to do our own thing... bah.

Ricky, kyle and some girlies are comin' round tomorrow night, bringin' some beers round..should be fun. Mwaha...just over 10 weeks of school left ^___^

So yeah... that'll do pig, that'll do.

Yeah...so things have been pretty hectic, what with coursework deadlines kickin my arse all the show..bastards ¬_¬ but im sloooowly catching up, filled in my college application the other day..I think it only hit me after i'd handed it back that i 'd be leaving the only life i've ever known. Quite a scary concept, cant wait ^_^ And the bastards...no study leave this year...bloody...ugh..pisses me off...

So yeah, screw school :P Jonathans found a drummmer from this other band that we went watching in this pub, hes a decent drummer, our age-ish. I've found a bassist so all we need is a singer from somewhere...if all goes well we'll be all set for leaving this band and doin' our own thing. Plus we'll have a regular-ish venue to play at aswell i'd imagine, or at least a room to practice in for practically free.

yep yep..I think thats about it....umm...pff yeah....

heh, well I know the last few posts have been kinda...pff..shitty...but ah well.

I've been in quite a good mood lately..which is fun. Lots of stuff happenin' band wise. The band with the guys from school is goin' pretty well for a change. We're hopefully gonna be recording a small CD with like 4 songs on, two covers, two of our own. So that should be cool, thats happenin' in a couple of weeks.(started lead guitar in that band also)

I've also found the guitar im buyin' once i've got a proper job...or I might just get my dad to buy it me if I get into college.

The vintage white, its so nice...I wanted somethin with 24 frets for that little bit extra for solos. Fell in love this guitar :/

Yeah..amps next on the list, I think I can get a decent stack for like £600 second hand...ah well...

Hopefully that was a nicer post than the shitters i've posted lately.... OH! *remembers* we wrote our first song on saturday "Chapter One - Hells Gate" its so good...I hate to sound all big headed but it really is good I think. Well we'll be recording it soon so you'll be able to see for yourselves ^_^

yeah...not updated in a long time...thought this was a good enough reason to update though.

Apparently this morning one of my mums friends died. She wasnt overly close to me or anything but you know. Her boyfriend type thing called at about 1 in the morning, he'd been drinking all day and stuff so we didnt hear about it till late.

Apparently she'd been ill for a while but she'd been perfectly fine, we'd been down like a week ago and dropped off her christmas presents and stuff, she seemed fine. Her boyfriend had been with her the night before, they were watchin' tv, doin' normal stuff. He went home and she stayed up for a while.

He'd gone round the morning after to see how she was, she wasnt answering and the lights were still on, so he broke in and there was blood everywhere. He found her in the bathroom, dead next to the toilet. She'd been coughing up blood and stuff. She was all stiff and had started turning black on her arms and face....

I dont know what was wrong with her or anythin' but she was a heavy smoker so im quite sure its related to that. Anyways, thats a breif overview of the situation. Yeah...im quite disturbed I must say...just thinkin' about what she must've gone through...she must've been in pain and ... well... scared obviously. Not a nice way to go...drowning in your own blood..scared and alone...it just got me thinkin'.
