Part 11 Super long as ordered lol
"yes we must get to your teachings done as fast as possible!" said Arron urgently. As they sat in what looked to be a large parlor room, two figures short but gracefull decended into the room. Of the three races people of the horn differed the most from the two. Humans where rounded of features and rather clumsy in terms of animals an beasts, Wing were just a little taller but still had the rounded features and were almost as clumsy when grounded.Horn, however, were short gracefull people with sharp angled features set on a small face. They generally had dARK tan skin with eyes either green or brown like the forests they lived in. Their hair was always the same chestnut brown, and they possesed a grace that far extends that of eithor of the other races. Seeing a horn walk was seeing a tree sway in the wind, or ripples in a pond, altogether natural and beautiful at the same time. The figures aproached Rhain and his group with a smile. "Hello," they said in unison while bowing low as was the custom of their race. Again in unison they continued, "we are here to see that the futur saviors of our people and nation are taught as one used to be tought. With all the facts and left to come to theor own conclusin. You two have spent your lives in the learnings of the way of the Plough, which only speaks in riddles and lies. We are here to correct that damage and show you the truth of your world." With that said Rhain and Rae followed the two scribes up the stairs they had just decended and found themselves in a vast library of scrools and text the likes of which Rhain and Rae had never seen being as the way of the Plough forbade books and scrolls of any type rangeing from before the hundred years war. "Now sit and listen while we tell you the tale of Bolador..."
(here is where the history begins so I'm going to tell it like a story to let you better understand it. I'm leaving out all the pesky questions Rhain had. And the time Rae cried when she found out somthing horrible her people had done. well continue enjoying)
The first people of Bolador where the Horn. They had been here as long as any tree or Mountain in Bolador could remember. Then the entirety of the large island was nothing but wild forest the only exception being the plains to the west near what was then called the Agean ocean. No record of time was ever kept because the Horn lived forever going through their life in different stages. They worshiped Nature which was alive and possesed spirits just as they did. Their major deity came in the form of a lake godess whom they called mother for from her all life on that Island, which was then nameless, came to be. The Horn came into this world like every other creature through birth, but they were imortal. They grew in life and spirit just as any other being would going through childhood and adulthood, but when they came to their elderly stage though. That is where they differed for instead of growing feeble and dieing they transformed slowly at first then with increasing rapidness they became their spirit animal. Then from this stage when they have lived a life as and animal the transformed yet again into a tree. Theirs was a happy life and continued in peace and harmony this way for ages the only record of time they kept was by the memory of the trees under wich they slept for they were also blessed with the ability to converse with animals and trees. No one is sure when but if you asked a tree they would tell you it was after the time when the star fell from the sky but before the time of the great frost that the people of the wing arrived on this island. They came in "flocks" as the Horn described them for to them they looked like huge birds upon the sky. They first settled in the plains and it was seen that there were many of these creatures with more arriving by the day. The Horn watched The Wing for three and some days before deciding to approach them. Their bravest people, shamans all, went forth hoping their conection to all animal would allow them to converse freely with these strange beings. The two races met and found that they could understand one another for on a primal level all languages are alike. And so from there an accurate account of history is made. For with them the Wing brought many new ideas and sciences Along with the ability to weild magic. This meeting is called Tarablend for the melding of the two races. They still continued in peace trading ideas and concepts. The Wing built amazing cities full of marvels af magic and wealth. They two races never intermarried though a tradition came that on the anniversiary of Tarablend the two reveled in an excese unheard of by humans even in their wildest imaginings.
The emergance of humans is unknown for they were discovered in the tundra at the north of the island wich was then named Bolador, meaning melding. Humans were far more primitave then either of the races with less longevity. Although the Wing aged slowley and lived for near 1000-1500 years humans were still a blink of their eye. Being their life-span then was 50-70 odd years. In time through the melding and science and oftentimes magic of the other two races the lifespan and intelligance of humans grew. It was found that humans could take the seed of both races and soon half-breeds of both with the best traits of all three races sprang into being. This is believed to be one of the triggers of the hundred years war. Some Humans believed that if coarses continued the way they were going there would be no human race only cross breeds of Horn and Wing. A more radical group of these Developed a religion of anti-Horn and Wing and called it the way of the plough. Through fear and angst all humans took to this religion which spoke of the Wing and Horn as devils and said forests were the repratoire of evil. This lead to the war wich killed every crossbreed and leveled most of the forest. The Wing were driven to the mountains and The Horn to what little of the forest we could save.
Well I'm done. Typing takes so much work. WOW I think I perfer paper and pencil.....
