   Comments, comments, comments...
I am open for any comments you might have regarding this week's manuever, along w/ the Character of the Week, if you wish. I wanted to post a pic of a different manuever for this week but had to adjust my line-up at the last minute, so hopefully I haven't disappointed anybody. Just in case I did, I'll be sure to make it up for everybody.

   What Are YOU Thankful For?
When Thanksgiving comes to mind, I feel grateful to have another chance to appreciate life to the fullest. I'm also grateful for being able to do the things that I wanted to do, to express myself, and to learn from certain experiences. Most of all, I'm am extremely grateful to actually having a life, and throughout life's time span, it must be appreciated at all times.

So when you celebrate the holiday known as Thanksgiving, consider this question: What are YOU thankful for? I wish you all a safe one!

Tis' Well!

   Just Another Day
For one second, it was pouring nonstop, and then the next second, the damn sun wanted to rear in its bright, shiny head. *ahem* I was referring to how the change of weather affected my mood. Not much going around here. I'm pretty much chilling and starting to draw again. I appreciate the comments given about my two previous posts. I am very appreciated.

(Of course, I do! Thanks for the reminder.)

Before leaving, I thought I'd leave you guys with one of those dandy things that we call COMICS!

   Gothic Queens / Musical Perception
Recently, I have grown fond of the hard rock genre, even though I was raised in hip hop and "old school" music (a poetic term for '70s soul and R&B). I don't know how to describe it in detail, but it is something about this type of music that connects w/ me. The sound of thrashing guitars, the emotions expressed lyrically by the vocalist, and the rhythm of the drums suddenly drives me and influences me as much as any hip hop or classic musician would. Bands such as Staind, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, Metallica, The Deftones, Chevelle, Sevendust, The Pixies, Queensryche, Alice in Chains and numerous others have touched me deeply in the heart, leading me to listen fully to what each band have to offer. I even listen to this music to inspire me creatively as I prepare to draw. I understand many people have said this, but I feel enlightened to say I adore this type of music.

Now that I got that out of my system, I wanted to compare two leading ladies of certain bands that most of you might already recognize. I wish to post two pics so that I'll be sure everyone could recognize them.

Cristina Scabbia

Now what's to say about this one? She appeals to many people for expressing herself sensually. In addition, she sings in a haunting yet moody tone that draws you in completely, which I love about her. Her prescence derives from the image of the band she fronts, along w/ her dark, aggresive demeaner. I guess it is pretty obvious why they believe "Italians do it better".

Amy Lee

Honestly, I adore the last queen, but I believe I connect to this one even more, generally because of her purity through her voice. It is unbelievable what would come pouring out this young maiden's heart. *whistle* What is also appealing about her is that she tends to be a bit carefree and gullible at times. Moreover, she resembles a sense of honesty and innocence that allows her to stand out in front of others. As the previous queen before her, she can be aggressive, but it is usually in a lighter matter, esp. when it comes to expressing her feelings and convictions. No matter how she presents herself, she always had "all of me".

(WOW! Have I just written THAT?!)

Please feel free to post any comments about this post or about this week's Wicked Manuever if you, by chance, haven't already.

   Feh!
Finally, I have a chance to receive a brief breather before I could finish out my priorities for today. I finally managed to clean my dormatory yesterday while watching the Animatrix. No one would believe how long it took for me to straighten it up, esp. sweeping and mopping the floor. Fortunately, I was able to get it done before I rested for awhile. (One less monkey on my back!) Throughout the rest of the day, I went to recreational center to loosen up for the day, and later ordered pizza while watching TV.

Today, I'm in the library finishing off a couple of assignments for Algebra. I'm planning on doing an outline for my essay tonight so that I won't have to worry about doing certain things at once. Overall, I believe I've done half of my priorities already. *deep breath* I could finish working right now.

Note: Tomorrow, the next WICKED MANUEVER OF THE WEEK will be revealed, and, for all TNA fans, it should be a treat.

Signing off. Tis' Well!!

   Derailed?
It looks like I'll have to rest now, for the times of fulfilling life's expectations has withstall upon me.

Sorry, I'm being too dramatic.

What I'm trying to say is I'll be busy tomorrow. I have a list of things to do such as cleaning my dorm, finishing off a couple of assignment for Algebra, working on an essay, and, of course, development of my drawing ability.
Besides, I bet everyone will be busy by then.

Just so that anyone becomes concerned, here is something that can cheer up the woes, and I believe it's coming right about...NOW!

Note:
Remember, the second edition of the WICKED MANUEVER OF THE WEEK will be revealed.

Tis' Well!!

   How's your day?
It's just a normal day for me, with the exception of rain coming to play. At one point, the rain showered lightly, but at the next moment it started to pour. Fortunately, I was still inside when that occurred. (Crapive, if only I had my umbrella.)

I was recently edited a couple of some old art pieces I had created, one of which I had previously submitted today. Hey, I needed something to do outside my schoolwork. It actually took me awhile to finish, but it payed off, and well worth the patience. (Patience is good, sometimes.) I wish to have more art submitted as soon as possible.

Speaking of art, I am starting to get use to various techniques that I have seen in this book I found in the library. The book, which is called Dynamic Anatomy, featured unbelievable drawings created by Burne Hogarth. I believe he used to be a comic illustrator somewhere in the 1950's. I was practicing so much w/ that book, it came to a point where I have to re-check it at least three to four times. I'm on the fourth string now.

Hopefully, my development would pay off when I'm able to draw quite a few pieces again. Until then, the process continues. I'll get my strive soon enough.

Tis' Well!

   Here's something new...
Today is officially the day I launch the debut of the Wicked Manuever of the Day! For those who do not understand what this means, I wish to describe how this works so that no one gets confused.

Every week, there will be a pic of a specific manuever posted, illustrating special moves from various fighting games or finishers from pro-wrestling. The name of the manuever will be listed at the bottom of the pic, along w/ insights on the effectiveness of the move and who perfected it. Still don't get the entire picture? Well, just so no one gets confused by this, I plan to post a manuever today so that you'll get the idea.

There will be a different manuever posted each week. I wanted to do this just for the sheer enjoyment of celebrating my love for fighting games and pro-wrestling. I'm sure you probably wouldn't get it the first time, but if you wish to make any comment about this, you may feel free to do so. Enjoy.

   50 and Counting
Today, the total number of visitors has reached 50! I'll have to say it is not bad for someone who has been a member for over two months. (Psst! No time to celebrate yet. There's a lot going on so don't procrastinate.) *ahem* I'm sorry, almost lost myself there. It appears I still have a long way to go if I wish to stand out from the rest of the crowd. (Hopefully, DP won't find this hard to understand, this time.)

It is going to be a long weekend for me. I have to finish off an essay, study for one test, and I definitely need to catch up with my drawing. Recently, I had been busy developing, but it's going to be awhile before I draw a complete picture. Hopefully, I won't slack off as I do normally in the weekend. Hell, I stay awake watching Adult Swim and Toonami. Perhaps I need to schedule my time more often (if I can.)

This is for the 50th visitor of this site.

*click* I have to run off now, before I become sidetracked again. I will soon return.

Tis' Well!
