   Water outage
Yesterday felt a bit hostile, probably because of a abrupt annoucement made by one of the instructors from my technology. Apparently, the piplines within the city of Waco were either contaminated or blocked, meaning that the entire campus was short on the water supply. In result, classes were dimissed earlier than expected, which was a bit annoying for me because I was about to finish a bunch of assignments for the day.

I spent the rest of the day watching tapes and DVDs while finishing a couple more assignments that did not involve using a computer. As I said before, time flies in a rapid pace and never slows down, esp. in college. Somehow, I wish to get use to it.

Here's a website I want you guys to check out:

http://www.flyleafmusic.com

This website contains information about a band from my hometown. Yes, I said my hometown. They had already signed a major record deal and are currently on the road w/ Three Doors Down, so I recommend checking out their site.

And that is where I stand, folks!

*phew* Drag.
I've been surfing through the net for quite some time while registering for classes in the fall semester. Time flies so fast, it is not even funny. I'm guessing the fact that becoming older and being a college student has its drawbacks, and believe me when I say drawbacks. I'm been so busy w/ so many activities and deadlines, it came to the point where I almost resorted to roll into a amardillo-esque position (sarcasm). Yet again, I'm taking each day one step at a time.

Nothing much happened throughout the weekend, generally because I was a slouch and was unable to call my mother to come over; she asked me if I needed more groceries. I'll see if see wants to come by tomorrow since I kept her waiting. (Man, I owe her big time.)

And that is where we stand, folks. Signing off.

I can't get enough of this stuff!

And now...

...it is time for...

THE WICKED MANEUVER OF THE WEEK!!

This week's maneuver is...

EXPLODER

This particular maneuver is pratically used by a handful of superstars in the world of puroresu (pro wrestling). The Exploder (also known in America as the T-bone Suplex) lies suitable for any well-rounded puroresu competitor who favors both a grappling and strength gameplan.

The fighter applies this moves by immediately grasping the opponent in between the underarm and thigh area. The fighter then quickly locks the hips over before lifting the opponent before slightly releasing the opponent for sheer impact.

***There are different variations of the Exploder, so the configurations of executing this move differs through time.***

   Back again
I am doing fine, you guys. I understand that I was quiet since my previous post, which was at least a week and a half ago, but I needed time to clear my head. Just hopefully, I believe someone didn't assume that I jumped off the highest cliff , which was very doubtful considering there are hardly any mountain regions in this area. My deepest apologies to you all.

My sister is doing okay. She is just gotten out of the hospital, but is now staying w/ my mother because her drainage at her house was leaking, or so she says. Other than that, the infection has cleared up and she will be fine.

Once again, my deepest apologies for not updating, yet I'm sure you understand why.

(Sheesh! I'd better not have them feel scared about me.)

   The odd man out
It seemed to have taken forever before I had updated a post. I didn't visit any accounts through the course of this week basicially because I was either busy or having emotional complications. (Don't mistake it as a mood swing, I'm not bipolar.) This may sound cheesy, but my deep apologies for my lack of updates.

I had just finished a short essay today right for a scholarship I was planning on registering to. The financial aid office won't close until 5pm today so I manage to turn it in on time. *phew* The story of my life...

Throughout most of the week, my mother had been calling my dormatory concerning my sister. She had surgery on her left or right ankle she had injured a week into the Fourth of July weekend. Well, it turns out that she returned to the hospital because she fell ill w/ an infection, but my mother said it was only temporary.

What else is there to say? I haven't felt the need to update for the past month now. Perhaps I need to accomodate my feelings now before doing anything else because I haven't felt at ease w/ myself. I don't understand why it is the cause, or is it because I am a college student and my number one fear is being labeled as a "statistic"? It almost saddens me to feel this way.

And that is where I stand, for now.

   Somebody, please slap me down...
...'cause it is time for...

THE WICKED MANEUVER OF THE WEEK!!

This week's maneuver is:

GAMMA CHARGE!

Yet another maneuver straight from the playbook of the infamous Vs. series. This time, it is the Incredible Hulk who holds entitlement to this move, which suits him well if you considered his reputation.

Simply, it is an unbreakable dash attack which is almost impossible to block or counter. The Hulk charges at his opponent w/ great momentum and agility for sheer impact, thus the opponent is launched high into the air. The Hulk can also append the attack or combine it w/ an aerial Gamma Charge. Very devastating, I'd say.

Oh, boy. I'm afraid Hulk's getting jacked up. Head for the heels!

Your comments, please.

100 degrees is enough to burn your soul
Not to mention enough to drive even the most sensitive people to insanity. That's Texas weather for you: ridiculously unpredictable.

I spent the weekend at my hometown for Independence Day. My mother had actually arrived even before I finished packing Saturday. Man, I hate rushing into things. I had to wash up by the time we arrived home because she planned on going to the movie theatre to see the movie Rebound. Before we arrived to the movies, we had to pick up my sister, who apparently was injured courtesy of a traffic incident she was involved in (she was the passenger). Mama told me my sister couldn't learn how to walk w/ the crunches and that she had to pamper my sister after coming home from the incident. Yeah, she is a big kid at heart.

Today's weather here felt a bit cooler than it would've during the weekend. *deep breath* The humidity was almost unbearable. One of my instructors told me that the humidity itself can literally deplete one's energy. Not that I was one to not know something about it.

Well, time to run off. Tis' well!

   At long last...
...after a long absence, it's the return of...

THE WICKED MANEUVER OF THE WEEK!!

Today, I wish to give a variety of moves that serve as tremendous combination. The three maneuvers are:

Ryu-jin!

Kenrokaku!

Genkirin!

What is so unique about these particular maneuvers is that they can be varied based on certain ranges of effectiveness and overall awareness of the opponent. For instance, Ryu-jin (an energy charged straight flying kick), mostly used for charging opponents or to stop certain attacks, can be appended by the Kenrokaku(multiple cartwheel kick in mid-air) in order to inflict damage to the opponent while he/she is in mid-air. The same can be said about the Genkirin (flaming energy pounding kick), which can be appended by both moves. This is a combination that proves effective as long as it is properly executed. The fighter must know when to append this type of attacks in any given situation.

EDIT: Sorry about the little mistake w/ the tags; I was in a bit of a rush.

Okay, comments?!
