hey everyone. sorry about sorta dissappering like that. the last week or so has been a little crazy.
well, my sister and her husband were visiting from far, far away this last week so most of what we did as a family revolved around that. it was pretty fun. she moved away after getting married two years ago and we don't really get to see her that often. well, maybe we do, but not as often as we would like. anyways, after that week, she left to go home, but the thing is that i got to go with her!! so here i am, far away from home. (if you think i'm going to tell you where, your crazy! ^-^) i'm flying back home next week. it's going to be loads of fun to spend a week with my sister and her husband without any other family.
today i've offically signed up and planned out my classes so i'm offically in collage. wish me luck. i've got to keep at least a "b" or higher to graduat in 4 years. i'm taking a music major and it's full of little one unit classes. i'f i let my grades slip and i lose my honors status i'll have to stay in for 5 years just to take all that stupid classes!!
well, i'm in a tiny rush so i'll talk to you al when i can.

well, this was an intersting week, although by in large, nothing really happened. the major thing i was going to tell you was about my mall experiance yesterday. ok, after going to our re-modeled hot topic i stoped by the knife shop just to drool at the cool katana. i was talking to the sales guy and stupidly misprenounced bokken (a wood practice katana with two edges) as boka (not a clue what that means...) from that point on this guy was a jerk. no matter how much i already knew about the katana in question, he knew more and was going to make it painfully clear that i was no samurai and had no clue what to do with a sword. i've never claimed to be a samurai, or that i wanted to become one. i've only just got truly interested in bugei, bushido, and what-have-you. and i really don't want to become a hard-core bushi. then he went on to make fun of me for being otaku, *and of course i didn't know what that meant* all sarcastic. so he felt like he need to enlighten me.(i did, but don't tell him that... >_<)
the only thing that saved the whole trip was that today one of my friends went and bought two bokudo (wooden practice katana with one edge) because they were only $15, so at least i found out some useful info. i guess it also helped strengthen my resolve to learn all i can about bugei, and someday prove i'm not an idiot....
life sucks...


o, ya. i guess gpetz is working after all. it was just my crapy AOL browser. that's good news.

   not happy, not happy at all
is it just me? or maybe just tonight? gpetz (online suppiler of blogs, background, animations, and whatever else you want) seems to have dissapered. none of my cool crap from that site work. i guess i can't really be upset, i mean, i didn't pay for jack-squat. i've droped by a few other sites and it seems not to be a problem saved only for me. or maybe it's my server....

o, yea, and there's no more www.gpetz.com, or at least as far as my computer can tell....

you know what? this whole "guitarist coming back" thing just keeps getting better and better. ok, here's how it went. we, i mean my band, were going to have a practice. as far as that goes, we really needed it. we punded out a few new songs and had to go over the old ones quite a bit, but that's not important now. right as my guitarist came in hauling his beautiful half stack in, he handed me his other gift from japan. the weekly manga release! don't ask me which one, i don't know, but it's real manga strait from tokyo! hiya! rock on!! i only reganized ONE of the weekly releases. "bleach" which is the same in japanese as it is in english. if you want i'll post a picture. if you can't tell i'm really proud of this thing. i know it may be old hat to some of you, but this is a big deal to me!!

o yea, and he is half-korean, so he was visiting his aunts and stuff. ya, he was gone for what seemed like forever!! but him and his sister bought me some hashi (chop sticks, as if you didn't know that!) from japan! they are all fancy and cool, so i guess that makes us even. ^-^

hya! my guitarist is back from korea!! all right! cool for me. ya but i think there were a few questions about the last post that i have been remiss about. sumimasen. well, i think the major one was "is she your girlfriend?" and that is a complicated issue. i really don't know. what i do know is that we love each other more then i can ever hope to discribe here. and as to why my dad does not like her is also complicated. it's to long of a story, but if your a die-hard romantic, then email me and i'll send the complete and unabridged tale. ok, that's all.


no, wait!! it's not! i've started playing FFX 2, and it is totally unimpressive. a tip to the serious gamester. stick to the original. this one doesn't do it justice. i'll give a complete review once i've finished the game... =(
