What do you think of the teaser page for Art Of Otaku: Sessions? Click here to view. Temporarily, we've stopped accepting orders for the book. Sessions is my next venture and I'm going to do everything to make it work.
I'm always experimenting to try and find an efficient way to manage two huge projects: theOtaku and Sessions.
My current method is to alternate. Yesterday was theOtaku day, today is Art Of Otaku day. And so on. Thankfully I'm also supported by a great staff at theOtaku, letting me do a lot of the manual work on Sessions.

Current Mood: Biting My Lip
Generally, I'm one of the nicest, most trusting, and most level-headed people you can meet. However, if someone tries to take advantage of my disposition to bring harm to either my reputation or others who rely on me in some capacity, I can also be cold and calculatingly brutal.
If certain things don't get resolved very soon, I'm not going to be a happy Adam. I hope it doesn't come to that...

The Good:
Last Saturday was a new traffic record. Over 700,000 page views. Last year this time we received about 450-500 thousand/day.
Will be much fun to hit 1,000,000/day, just for the roundness of the numbers.
The Ugly:
I shouldn't have asked Ichigo for his girlfriend's phone number. I didn't know!! (Hm...I wonder if she has a sister. Hm...I wonder if Ichigo has a sister...)
The Bad:
Positive thoughts only!

January 25th
We were supposed to launch the new Art Of Otaku at end of month, but we've hit another delay.
Don't fret, otakuites, and stop by theOtaku January 25th.
You might see something interesting, something new.
Right Massin? :-)

I'm stranded in Chicago's airport now; flight was delayed 5(!) hours and might easily be delayed longer. Using the crappy $5 for 15 minutes Internet terminal.
So many things have gone wrong on this trip it's comical, in a morbid way. Like Kagome who stumbles down a well and ends up in a hostile feudal parallel world.
Update: I'm back home now. Whew, what an adventure. One good thing about the flight delay; I met two very cute girls. :-D

Tomorrow will be very, very, very interesting :-).
The art gallery will be one of my main focuses. From what I've heard, people have been really impressed with it. I can't wait to stand in the middle of a sea of images from our community. Maybe at that moment it will all be worth it.
I'll be sure to take lots of pics, too. (Gail always takes a zillion pics at every event anyway.)
I sleep for 4 hours, go to the airport, take off for 6 more hours, and then land. When I land I go straight to the convention, which will have been open for a few minutes. Whew, I'm going to be exhausted. Wish me a safe journey.
Note: I thought Nevada was sunny, weather.com says it's colder there than it is in NYC(!)

Reason #238 to Attend AnimeFF
An old picture of me will be in the program guide under the "Guests" section. You know you've always wanted to photoshop my face onto an embarassing anime character and post it on your myO.

Your Ideas
What would be the best way to promote the new Art Of Otaku? Any fun ideas?

I cannot wait until the convention next week is concluded. It's been such a huge distraction away from theOtaku and the new Art Of Otaku. It's also been STRESSFUL, one of the most stressful things I've done.
(The #1 most stressful thing was the dreaded myOtaku launch of 2003. I don't think this convention can top that, but then again, there's still a week remaining.)

I'm inspired by this AMV.
I think it would be badass to have a commercial for the new Art Of Otaku with dramatic cuts and effects.
There's no animations so it would all have to be still images dancing around/cutting, scrolling, fading, etc.
Anyone good at that sort of thing? Hit me up.
