Greetings from Sunny (or Not-So) California
I randomly decided to take a weeklong vacation to the West Coast. I haven't been here in years and, after having worked ridiculously hard this summer, I felt I needed a tiny break.
So far so good!
(Just trying to get used to the weather here. One day it's melting my skin, the next I feel like a snowman.)
I'm extremely pleased with how everything is going site-wise. Since we've optimized the server (and we're still doing it), we've experienced a 20% surge in traffic.
Also, Justin is really banging away on Version Re:Defined.
Yesterday, I went to one of those Renaissance fairs, quite randomly--I saw it as I walked through the park. No, that's not why I came to Cali, and no I didn't dress up as a medieval swordsman.
The whole thing left a strange taste in my mouth. I don't think I've previously seen such a concentrated hub of dorkiness.
Hoping today is warmer than not.
