Hate ch.3 page 22
“Kayne looked at Chord kind of surprised and said, “No, but she is the one survivor of the village and I have to take care of her.” Kayne heard laughing and coarse voices talking a foreign language. He peeked over the bush and saw the band of goblins that had shot the arrows. He sat down behind the bush and looked at Chord. “Did you know they were there?”
Chord said nothing but just nodded his head. Chord slowly got up from his seated position and undid the belt that was holding his scythe on his back. He rested it over his shoulder and began to walk towards the goblins.
Kayne put Nona down and told her to stay out of site and he will be back shortly. She hid herself in the bush and watched through a tiny whole.
Kayne unsheathed his sword and followed Chord towards the goblins.
Once the goblins noticed them all their focus was turned on the two. One of the goblins drew an arrow, pulled back the string and shot an arrow at Chord.
Chord merely moved his head slightly to dodge the arrow.
Two more goblins drew their swords and rushed him. Chord dodged them easily and sliced them up with his large weapon.
“Who is he?” The goblins wondered as fear appeared in their eyes.
Now the rest of the goblins rushed him, and surrounded the two. The four that were on Chord’s side rushed him, he put his weapon up and block and as he was blocking Kayne jumped up over his shoulder and cut off their heads in a clean one strike. Kayne jumped over and off Chord’s shoulders again to jump over the remaining goblins. Kayne landed low and cut both the goblins calves while Chord killed the other two in a single blow.

HATE CH. 3 page 21
"Well, earlier you were bitten by a demon, correct?"
"Yeah so..."
"When someone is bitten by a demon, a venom is spread through the body and eventually, to the heart. But it does not kill the person, it only produces demon blood. And depending on how much venom is injected, that decides what percent demon you become. You will know if you are a full demon by morning.”
“How?”
“You will lose control of your body and go off on a mad rampage destroying everything in your path. But as part of the venom you will have to watch everything from your eyes.”
“So I’ll practically be stuck in my body with no control.”
“Exactly.”
“Hey, so like… why are you helping me?”
“That is not something important at the time being. Think about what you will do tomorrow for food or something more essential than why I am helping you.”
“Fine.” Kayne rose from where he was sitting and went over to Nona. She was still crying and rocking back and forth. Kayne placed his hand on her back to comfort her. She turned around and hugged his neck. Kayne smiled and picked her up. When he was standing up he could feel his shirt beginning to get damp from her tears.
“Is that your kid?”

CHAPTER THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HATE CH.3 page 20
Chapter Three
Ancient Prophecy
Kayne heard a whistle. He looked up over the crowd. All he saw was little dots in the air. He thought nothing of it, but as seconds went by he knew that he must act. "Everyone find cover there are arrows!" He picked Nona up and ran away.
"Get back here your tricks won't work. There isn't any...” All the villagers fell to the ground, dead, as it continued to rain down arrows. Kayne sprinted away, not for his life, but the person he's protecting. As he ran he could feel Nona's clutch begin to tighten. He saw Nona look over his shoulder. For a moment it was quiet, then with tears dripping from her eyes she screamed, "MOMMY!!!! NO, LET GO!! MOMMY!!" She squirmed and fought to get free of his grasp. But as much as it hurt him he did not let go, but kept running.
Tears dropped down Nona's face as she reached for her mother. Crying, and screaming, kicking and squirming continued for the next few minutes. When he arrived at the place where Chord was waiting he was out of breath. He put Nona down with a sigh of relief.
Nona ran to the nearest bush, curled up into a ball and cried.
Chord looked at Kayne with a curious eye, "Boy, Do you remember anything that happened at the battle?"
"Why do you keep calling my boy? I have a name you know! But no, I don’t remember really."
"Do you want to know?"
"Sure."

THE IMPORTANCE OF STOPPING
A young driver was driving along the road, he then came upon a stop sign. He slowed but did not stop and kept going. A police officer pulled him over and said ," Do you know what you've done?" The driver replied, "No." The officer said, "You did not stop at the stop sign." The driver then said, "Ya but I slowed down, and no one was even there." The officer asked him to step out of the car. The officer began to brutally beat the driver. After a couple minutes of beating him he stopped and said, "Would you like me to slow down or stop?"
Do you see the difference?
That didn't really happen i just made that up. And if you could do me a favor and send that to a couple of people that would be great, but the point is that slowing not stopping causes many recks, it is almost fifty percent or more of the deaths in America in car recks. please pass it on to those who need to know the difference

here it is
HATE Ch.2 pages 14-19
"I think he's bluffing."
"Yea I think he is too."
"Well I don’t know sometimes the humans are tricky, maybe there's somebody in the trees."
"Yea you may be right." The goblins started to scan the trees for any rustling or movements. They saw nothing.
Kayne stood there in amazement of how stupid goblins can be.
"Or maybe not." Slowly the goblins started to slowly advanced.
Kayne started to worry. He knew goblins were dumb, but eventually he knew they would catch on. He slowly pulled up his rifle ready to shoot. Almost instantly he quickly raised it up shot the head goblin, reloaded and shot a couple others, after firing a couple rounds he noticed he had no more ammo left. He dropped the gun and pulled out his two swords and was ready for battle.
The goblins stood there stunned, that he had the guts to do that. Then they all looked at him with hate in their eyes, and let out an astonishing war cry. All at once the battalion let out their war cry, "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!" Then they stampeded towards him in a mad assault.
Kayne stood very scared but ready for anything they were to throw at him. He charged back at them and once the opposing sides met, Kayne started slashing back and forth through all the goblins. As he was fighting his concentration focused on one goblin, he was not in the fight but something was wrong. Other goblins had to hold him back. The goblins Kayne was fighting suddenly backed off. Kayne stood there tired, beaten, cut, and bruised. Everyone looked at the goblin that had gone mad. It’s like he was have a spasm or something, and all the sudden the let go of him. The goblin sprang forward and attacked with much speed. Kayne dodged as much as he could. A second sword was given to the goblin. And again the goblin came at him with much speed. Kayne dodged the first strike then blocked the second. After taking many brutal attacks one of his swords broke but he still held the broken sword in his hand. Again the same routine was put into action. Dodge then block, when this kept going on Kayne knew it had to stop. He jumped to the side dodging the first swing, then ducked under the second swing, and in an adrenaline rush he jumped towards the goblin and thrust both the broken sword and the other sword into the heart of the goblin, there was a hush on the battle field. He pulled his weapon out of the goblin and let him fall to the ground. He noticed the sword that the goblin was carrying looked much different than all the others. It seemed to have an evil aura to it. He didn't know how or why but for some reason he was drawn to it. As he was about to pick up the sword that the goblin had dropped he saw the goblins around him sprint towards him. Quickly he picked it up and...
Kayne could feel his muscles enlarging, his heart beat getting slower and for the first time he felt calm. But Kayne did not know at this point that he had lost control of his body, unaware of anything around him. His hair band broke as his hair grew much longer, down to his lower back. The hair in front had grown down past his chin. He grew fangs and his nails became long and sharp. Then scars appeared on both his shoulders ripping through his clothing, and the same on his wrists.
The goblins were terrified, for they knew what was happening, but couldn't believe how.
"How is this possible he's only human? This isn't right." The goblins turned and ran.
Kayne opened his eyes, and his eyes were midnight black. In a deeper, calmer voice Kayne said, "Hey, where ya going the fun has just begun, now DIE!!!" Kayne sprinted forward with incredible speed and slaughtered many goblins as he was laughing. "It's time to finish this, AAAAAHHHH!!" Kayne swung the sword with awesome might and from the sword came a powerful force; it was a wave of fire that disintegrated everything in its path. The goblins that were once running for their lives, now there was no trace of them at all.
Kayne started to scream for what was once calming is now pain, indescribable pain. All the sudden, out of nowhere a chain whip struck the sword out of his hand and on to the ground. Kayne began to scream even louder than before. He was changing back, his hair grew shorter, the fangs went away, his sharp fingernails became dull, but the cuts on his shoulders and wrists remained. He fell to his hands and knees, and breathing heavily he asked himself, "What happened?"
"You transformed."
Kayne looked around until he saw a figure in the sun's light. The suns rays kept Kayne from seeing any details on the person. Though he was able to see the outline. On the right side of the body the person was holding a handle. His eyes followed the chain from the handle all the way to the spear head that was near him. On the man's back seemed to be a large weapon. Towards the ground there was a curved blade and up above the man's shoulder was the handle, it was a long handle indeed. "What is that weapon in your hand?"
A deep, calm voice answered, "It is called a chain whip. It consists of a handle, a long chain, and at the other end there is a tip, like a spear head and what is on my back is called a scythe. It is an older weapon that was not used because of the massive blade and the unbearable weight. At one end there is a large blade and at the other there is the handle, a long handle to help with the great weight." He paused for a moment. "That sword that you picked up... do you know what it is?"
"Well I thought it was just a regular sword, but something happened. I remember picking it up, then there was pain, then I woke up here."
The man thought to himself, "He doesn't remember anything interesting." Then he said out loud, "My name is Chord."
"I am Kayne."
"I know who you are boy. I've been watching you for some time."
"Like... a stalker?"
"Well, umm, yes. Sort of."
"You're stalking me?"
"No, yes but... for a good cause."
"What is this cause then?"
"You will find out soon enough."
"I hate it when people say that."
"When do people ever say that to you?"
"Well that's not the point. Would you shut up!"
"Come with me, I'll explain everything while we walk. Chord walked over and put the sword in its sheath.
When Kayne finally got a good look at Chord he noticed he was very muscular, and most of his clothes were ripped. Chord had more weapons than Kayne had noticed. In his sash was a long curved blade and in his boot was a knife.
Chord started to walk off in the direction he came but then stopped. He turned around and said, "Are you coming?"
"Well where are we going?"
"You'll find out soon enough, but all you need to know now is that it is safe."
"Would you quit doing that?!" Kayne followed the mysterious Chord to an unknown but supposedly safe place. "Wait, before we go can I go check on the villagers?"
"Go on boy. I will wait here for your return."
"Okay," Kayne ran to where the villagers had set camp. He looked around and no one seemed to be hurt. But everyone was looking at him like he did something wrong. He looked back at them with a confused look. He walked towards them and asked, "What did I do?"
They did not answer, only backed away.
"Please I..." He noticed they all looked terrified. Terrified, of him. He turned his back on them and walked away.
Then he heard a familiar voice say, "Where are you going?"
Kayne turned around and saw that it was little Nona.
Nona walked toward him with a big smile on her face. Before Nona got to him her mother ran up behind her and snatched her back away from him. "I don't want you anywhere near that monster!"
"Really, what did I do?!"
"Don't play dumb with us. We were watching you the whole time, said a man in the crowd."
"Oh that! I don't even remember doing any of that, last thing I remember is picking up the sword."
"That's bull and you know it!!" yelled a different lady.
"Take this demon!" The people in the crowd started to hurl rocks at him.
Kayne turned around and covered his head.
When Nona's mother picked up a rock, Nona ran over in front of Kayne and stuck her arms out. "Did everyone already forget how he saved me?"
"It doesn't matter he's a demon!" shouted one villager."
"Ya, I think we should kill him." said another.
Kayne turned around and looked at Nona. "Thank you Nona."
Nona turned around and as always, was smiling. "It's okay, they're so stubborn. But don't worry, I'll protect you."

Pages 12 & 13
HATE page 12& 13 Ch. 2
After a long walk on the open road he arrived at a campsite he noticed familiar faces, it was the village people. He walked to the mayor and said, “Why didn’t you go to Tolain, I told you to go to Tolain.
“Well the villagers were tired and hungry; we couldn’t make it all the way. Oh my gosh what happened to your shoulder? Are you alright?”
“You should have kept going anyway what if the goblins caught up, what would you have done then!? All of your village guards are dead, every single one!” Kayne yelled with anger in his voice. “And this is just a scratch I’ve had worse.
“I’m sorry you lost the battle there but I can’t force these people to there limit, think of the children.”
The image of Nona popped into his head and he walked off.
“That boy may be a hero but he has quite a temper, but his family was slaughtered so I guess he has a reason.”
Kayne went a sat down under the shade of a tree. “Guess I was there overnight, come to think of it we fought at sunset.” He closed his eyes and went to sleep.
Kayne slowly opened his eyes and saw that it was Nona.
He yawned and said, "Yes, I am going with you." He smiled and stood up. After good stretch he picked up his sword and rifle. As he started to follow Nona, he could hear something. He wasn't sure what it was but he didn't like it.
Nona grabbed his hand and skipped beside him. During the walk he kept turning around to see what the sound was, but still saw nothing. After a couple hours of walking, Kayne turned around once again, but this time he saw dust. He looked down at the ground and saw all the footprints. He thought to himself, "If anyone wanted to follow us it wouldn't be hard."
He let go of Nona's hand and ran to the front of the crowd. There he found the mayor and said," Mayor there is dust rising high upon the road and I think they are goblins. Please, tell everyone to hurry up the pace." Kayne then ran back to Nona. "Nona, I need to do something, I'll see you later okay?
"Okay!" She smiled and kept walking. Kayne grabbed his rifle and held it tight. He hid behind a bush under a tree and watched as the army marched closer and closer. After a couple moments of waiting he heard a rustling in the leaves behind him, he loaded his rifle and turned around. There was a moment of silence...
"DIE HUMAN!!!!" Yelled a goblin that had jumped out of the bush behind him with a katana. Kayne quickly reacted and pulled the trigger, the bullet was fired and blood stained the tree. He looked at the goblin and he noticed he had shot it directly in the face. The goblins were almost upon him, he grabbed the sword the goblin had dropped, and ran to the middle of the road and said, “Stop! You will go no further."
With a raspy voice the goblin in front answered, “You? Who are you kidding? Do you really think that you can take all of us? I mean, really, your even wounded, hahaha!" The whole crowd of goblins began to laugh and snicker.
Kayne became uneasy, because he knew that they were right. "Well I have two swords and a rifle, and I’ve dealt with monsters twice your size!"
A conversation started amongst the goblins.

Chapter 2
page 11
Chapter two
Lead to the Sword
The steps were getting louder and louder, Kayne new they were here. He stood up turned around then let out a couple rounds. The goblins fell to the ground. Then, in that moment the trench was overrun, goblins hopped in and sliced, jabbed, and bit the defense to pieces.
Kayne was hitting left and right, kicking and jabbing with his knife, and instantly he felt a sharp pain on the left side of his neck. It was a demon, biting him! He took the knife and stabbed it through the head. He pushed the demon of and began to feel tired, everything went blurry, then black and he fell into a deep, dark sleep.
When he awoke there were bodies everywhere bodies hanging over the trench walls, piled one on top of another. He sat up and leaned against the side of the trench. Sighed and felt his shoulder, when he looked at his hand he saw the blood, he could feel the warmth from it. Slowly he stood up; he grabbed the rifle next to him, and a sword from one of the dead goblins. When he arose he saw many more bodies, the village aflame and it seemed he was the only one alive. He crawled out of the trench and slowly made his way to the north road. Stepping over bloody, torn up bodies he began to remember the way his mother looked when she was in the closet. Blood covered her face and arms, her clothes were torn and her eyes open. This was the thing that haunted Kayne the most, was her eyes. When he opened the closet and saw his mother blood everywhere and eyes opened. She looked at him with eyes that were terrified, it had haunted him ever since. Kayne walked, and started to sob. But in spite of that kept walking on.
