HATE page 9 CH.1
“Ok.” Kayne dashed to the watch tower, and as fast as he could climbed up the ladder to the top. When he was at the top he clicked on the loudspeaker, “Everyone listen! There is a great fire spreading quickly in this direction you must evacuate now! Follow the north road to the city of Tolain. Hurry, gather your family and important belongings we don’t have much time.” After a while of watching people get their things and leaving he thought good, at least they’ll be safe if they leave now. The fire will be here in a couple of hours, and we can’t do anything to stop it.
“Mister? Mister?”
Kayne heard a little voice calling from below, a familiar voice. He looked over the side and saw the little girl he had saved.
“You’re still gonna come visit me right?”
Kayne smiled, “Yes, I’ll make sure I do that.”
“Okey-dokey see you later, mister.”
Kayne just smiled and waved and thought what it is like to have the innocence of that little girl. “She is always so optimistic about everything that is how everyone should be… but their not.”
“Are you Kayne Maro?” said one of the guards at the watch tower.
“Yes, that is my name.” Kayne looked at him confused.
“You are my sons role model he loves you, could I get you to sign this poster?”
