Episode 7B: Heavy Metal’s Folly

(Evette makes two fires two beam rifle shots at Heavy Metal. He deflects both shots with his sword and slices at her. She dodges and pulls out her double saber.)

Heavy Metal: Okay, let’s see how you like this. (He throws the sword and pulls out his bazooka)

Evette: Interesting…

(Heavy Metal swings the Bazooka and knocks her mech to the floor)

Evette: Owww… as heavy as that hunk of junk is, I’m surprised it didn’t break your mechs arm!!

Heavy Metal: *Thinking* Well actually, its going to break at this rate. This is just what I get for experimenting… I wish those mechanics had got finished with my new gun… *Sobs* this is my only hope *Gets pumped*… Here we go!!

(Heavy Metal twirls and spins his bazooka at Evette. She tries to counter attack but her weapon is too light compared to the bazooka and she loses balance. She jumps back and shoots his arm with the beam rifle.)

Heavy Metal: That was uncalled for!

Evette: You shouldn’t be using something so cumbersome then! Say goodbye! (She flies straight up in the air)

Heavy Metal: If I could time this shot just right… *Aims*


(Evette flies straight down towards him real fast. He tries to shoot the bazooka but it explodes and she crashes straight into his mech… After the mechs stop sliding across the dirt, she jumps out)

Evette: What the hell are you thinking!? You ruined your reputation, you almost got your bosses agency destroyed, and you’ve become very weak!! Explain!

Heavy Metal: I want to know what you’re doing before you get yourself killed!

Evette: Me!? Look at you… I bet everyone on this planet knows you went around calling yourself part of the Dark Army!

Heavy Metal: Wait just a minute!! I didn’t do all this just to talk about me!

Evette: (Laughs) Do you honestly think I want to see you?

Heavy Metal: I mean you’ve seen me before, what’s so different now?

Evette: I know why you became an agent at such a young age but that doesn’t mean that you should hide important information from me!?

Heavy Metal: … No… I mean what!?

Evette: You know what I’am talking about!! Anyway, we are enemies now! Don’t you get it? (Goes in his cockpit to takes a box)

Heavy Metal: Not really… I mean there is no re-

Evette: Stop it right there… let me tell you something really quick. I hate you and I will always hate you!

Heavy Metal: Wh-

Evette: I’m not explaining anything to you. You can’t even give me a decent battle… you’re no brother of mine. Even if I wanted you in my plans, its too late because your reputation is so poor now, nobody wants you.

Heavy Metal: True that…

Evette: I can’t stand being around you any longer… Humph

Heavy Metal: What about Silk Marauder?

Evette: Your boss’s brother? He wants to help me make my dream come true.

Heavy Metal: Are you insane! What kind of plans can you possibly accomplish provoking the agency and Lord Talon!?

Evette: (Looks down) Brother, I know the truth… you killed our mother when you where eight.

(Heavy Metal looks surprised)

Evette: I know how it all happened… *Cries* I can’t believe you’re a murderer even when I see you.

Heavy Metal: I didn’t kill her!

Evette: Then where is she!? What happened to our father!? What happened to the original design to your mech?

Heavy Metal: Our mother killed our father right before my eyes (Looks down) I was enraged afterwards but I was knocked out unconscious after the battle there was no way I could’ve beaten someone with so much power and skill as a novice…

Evette: You’re still not telling me everything! You don’t trust me or something?

Heavy Metal: I just… can’t.

Evette: Brother, Lord Talon has told me everything. For your sake and mine, don’t interfere with my plans again… (She leaves)

Heavy Metal: Great… now what. She honestly thinks I killed our parents….

(Mean while)

(Evette picks up a radio)

Silk Marauder: Are you sure he can even recover from you saying those things!? You’re crazy!!

Evette: Of course he can… its just too bad I can’t tell him the truth. But he needs to worry about him self and stop pestering us. He could ruin everything being so reckless.

Silk Marauder: I wonder if my brother can actually stop him from tormenting himself.

Evette: Why are so you so worried?

Silk Marauder: Its something I call empathy.

Evette: I believe in him so don’t worry so much.

Silk Marauder: Your faith in him scares me.

Evette: I’m the only person on this planet that could understand him.

Silk Marauder: …

Evette: Still, I can’t thank you enough for saving me that day.

Silk Marauder: It wasn’t me actually, it was Renegade. We must keep our plans at a low.

Evette: That would explain why he lost to Heavy Metal so shamefully. He is really good at hiding…

Heavy Metal: What!? Can’t you see I have no time for games right now!! I am not in the mood!!

Boss: Hey, don’t look at me all hurt… you did that to yourself.

Heavy Metal: Okay… I deserved that.

Boss: Well, you might lucky in this episode but right now I’m going to have to give you some unpaid permanent vacation time.

Heavy Metal: Hey wait, that doesn’t sound too promising…

Boss: Just wait for the next episode dammit

Heavy Metal: What… can I at least get the weapon I ordered?

Boss: Sure, sure…
