Episode 8B: Morale Booster!
Don't worry if you haven't read any of it but, if you wish to read the others episodes, you could ask me and I'll pm or email them. The conclusion to this episode is here:
Ignoble Knight: Is the music pumping?
Heavy Metal: I don’t know, you might have to turn the volume up and this song isn’t dial up friendly, its almost 5 MB.
Ignoble Knight: Damn… oh well!!
(Ignoble Knight pulls out a grenade launcher and fires it. Heavy Metal dodges the shot but the impact of it knocks him to the ground. Upon getting up, Ignoble knight low thrusts, slashes upwards and tries to slice Heavy Metal’s mech into two but he retaliates by quickly firing his bazooka and knocking them both away from each other.)
Ignoble Knight: Always full of surprises I see…
Heavy Metal: You’re going down buddy!
(Ignoble Knight grabs his sword with both his hands and does a downward slash. Heavy Metal side steps and tries to swipe Ignoble knight’s head off. Ignoble Knight ducks his head and pushes Heavy metal with the side of his sword.)
Ignoble Knight: Had enough?
Heavy Metal: You didn’t even do anything yet!
(They both clash their weapons. Heavy Metal quickly pushes Ignoble Knight’s wrist upwards (since he only has to wield his sword with one hand), Ignoble knight loses his balance and he slashes him across his chest. Ignoble knight retaliates by doing a strong slash and Heavy metal does parry attack but Ignoble knight was still able to strike heavy Metal’s arm because of the weight and size of his sword.)
Heavy Metal: Whoa! You damn near killed me!!
Ignoble: Knight: *Thinking* Almost had him! I’ll show him some real speed! *Shouts* I’ll show you fruitless this fight truly is.
Heavy Metal: Come on then. All I got is a few nicks and cuts so far. (Shrugs) Just how ignoble is that!
Ignoble Knight: (Gets frustrated) Shut up! It’s time to finish this!!(Throws a smoke grenade on the ground)
Heavy Metal: Trying to confuse me in this smoke huh… bring it on!!
(Ignoble knight strikes him in the back from behind with his large sword. Heavy Metal quickly turns around, and pushes Ignoble knight to ground. He stabs the ground but stabs nothing. Ignoble knight slashes him from the left side but he dodges by dashing right. Heavy Metal then kneels down, turns the blade to the other side and thrusts it upwards damaging the cockpit of the Ignoble knight. He tries to shoot at Heavy Metal but the smoke clear and he realizes he hit nothing and then his mech is shot in the back from a Bazooka shell)
Ignoble knight: I knew where you were the whole time, how did you avoid me so quickly?
Heavy Metal: Simple… you didn’t know about my new weapon so I dropped all three pieces to it on the ground one at a time and then I flew away and shot you.
Ignoble knight: Curse you!! I promise you... I will be back!!! (He punches the side of a building down, runs in and dissapears mysteriously)
(He notices the media was following him the whole time)
News reporter: We thought you were deemed a traitor. How does it feel to go through all that stuff and not be able to capture your target?
Heavy Metal: Hey, isn't this that real war going on station isn’t it… (Blocks out what the reporters asked and blows a kiss at a camera) I only did this to give my beautiful woman some entertainment while she rests in the hospital…
(Shows Iris)
Iris: It was pretty interesting but now it’ll be easier to defeat you if we ever fight again. (Laughs) Who does he think he is labeling me as his woman or maybe I’m giving myself too much credit to think he’s even talking to me? *Shrugs* That’s not really important, I’ll crush that poor boy since I’ve seen his strategy in action and (Finally gets up) I’m getting out of the hospital today… thank God!
