Hmmmm....
Wah! I’ve been neglecting this… Better start posting again…or trying to. Not much has been worth mentioning, certainly not how down I was last week. Oh no, we’ll just veer away from that.
Today wasn’t a bad day at all. Nope…not at all. Despite the fact that my babysitting job was cancelled because of the weather. Actually, we went into the parade at good ‘ole McLean. Actually, it was pretty good. My colt was in it, being led, as he’s a bit too young to be ridden just yet. His name is Zorro…and my other one is Outlaw… I guess you can see where my train of thought was going. Oh well. They’re both sweethearts, really affectionate little guys. Actually, Outlaw isn’t so little!
But, it was good, actually found my mother a Christmas gift, bath salts, because she likes them. Citrus scented. Smells so good. And, at the end of the sale, there was a bunch of draws, raffles, if you will. I had bought six tickets (spent two dollars) to split between a girl and boy bear. I was asked to bring them up to the stage, so I decided to sit on the edge of said stage, thinking it would be ironic if I won them. The first draw, after a few announcements, was for the girl teddy bear. White colored fur, silver and blue dress with a bit of lace and velvet. …ironically enough, I was the one that won it.
Right after was the draw for the second bear; white fur, and dressed in a purple-ish tux. Ron, the one who was announcing the winners, said something along the lines of: “Well, it would seem Brian’s luck is rubbing off on his daughter…” And I won the second bear. A set, huh? Whoo! And…my mom bought four cookbooks, thus winning a draw for a wreath… o.O Weird, huh?
And…that was about all the interesting things that happened… Nothing else really worth mentioning.
