   What happend yesterday
I was on the couch when the phone rang. I got up to answer it but befor I did I let the dog out. I answer the phone and it was for my step-dad so I went to give it to him. I was halfway out the door when I heard breaks squeeling and then I heard a scream. Halfway down the second flight of stair I see Ian (my step-dad) turn his head and look in the direction of the road. not soner after that he took off bolting after a car. I Knew some thing got hit but I didn't know what. I started to bolt down the street taking my legs as fast as they could go. Whill I was running I told the person on the phone I would have to call him back and hung up on him. By the time I got there ian told me to get the jake out of the back of the truck. I turned and ran. to the truck. At that point I knew one of our dogs was hit by a car and traped under the car. When I got to the truck I got the jack and handed it to my brother. I told him to run to ian as fast as he could. I got to the spot were she was hit (all of our dogs are shes) and saw ian carrying back my dog winter. I started pouring my eyes out. her face was covered in blood and she looked like she wasnt able to move her legs. ian put here in the truck and took her to the emergency hospital. shes been there since last night. I dont know if shes all right.
