   Weird...

It's passed 3 days of school and my confusion seems to diminish pretty quickly...odd. Homework so far is still light and but loads of tests are coming up@_@.
Well, so far in my new journey, I've met a few people: 1 pinay and 1 viet. Yay!! The only two who would hang around me when no one else is around...what great friends...*ahem...so...tomorrow I'm assigned to bring doughnuts or I'll face "severe consequences" (whatever that is>_>) I don't have much to say...hmmmm...I barely see my house any more. I miss it.T-T

Since it will take me forever to put a post on my trip to the Philippines I'll just put a section of my post of what had happened.

Philippine Vacation: So after the many hours on the plane, my family and I get to go home to my grandmother's house and sleep our heads off...(we slept for like 12 hours...) I then awoke with the sound of a chicken bakaaking.(whatever sound it makes)Then came the sound of hammering. Then silence.
We didn't do much but eat and sleep the first day and I'm telling you. Eating at my grandma's house is very restless. I'll tell you that story in the next post.

Sorry I haven't been going to your sites. My mom doesn't trust me with the computer any moreT-T so that's why I'm using the library computer again.

Oh, and yugo, I'll put up the pinoy rock as soon as I can. I don't think I'll be able to put up Cushe' anymore. Though I'll try.

   School...

My first day of high school began on Tuesday but it was all lectures about the school and it's policies. These lectures ran up to Thursday and on Friday we had a run through of our schedule. Man was I lost @_@ And there was that one time I would have got a detention if it was real school day.Here's the story:
It was the last period of the day on my schedule and so I head for my locker to retrieve my things. The weirdest part was that I was practically the only one at my locker. Man, I was so confused. I asked some random student to where we go next, but he said it's dismissal. Heh...was he wrong.
So I'm standing outside alone, waiting for my mom to come pick me up. It wasn't until 5 minutes of waiting did I notice I'm missing out on something. So I rushed back in and found out that we had one more class to go to!!! AHHHHHH!! I was suppose to go to the second period of a "Day 2" schedule!
I ran to the gym and found it so embarrassing when I everyone looked at the confused freshman running through the doors. Well, I didn't miss much in the lecture so no biggie.

I'm going to go crazy in the school-_-'

   It's been awhile

How are you guys. sorry I haven't posted, I'm back from the Philippines and Japan and still have this jetlag. I'll give you a short summary on Japan and I'll post up my trip in the Philippines later(it'll be a long one^^')

so my trip to Japan went well and I've got to say the top 6 best places to go is:
6.) subway(it can be a bit confusing, but it's such a great japanse culture expirence)
5.) bathroom(sooooo COOL!!! There are so many things you can do with that toilet!!!)
4.) Yokohama(a city you'll never get bored with...there are just so many things you see there. It's street entertainment are preformed by bands that rock! and the stores are so cool!XD)
3.) China Town(the biggest in the world! The food is great especially the sweet buns!^^)
2.) electronic store(so high tech!XD)
1.) Arcade(a new generation where everyone who enters are good at every game there is in there. Just being in one beats the whole expirence of playing PS2 at my cousin's house)

I can't wait to go back!

   Summer has gone by quickly...

Sorry I haven't been updating recently. Well for the past 2 days I've been pretty busy in finishing up some work.

On Thursday it was my last time to be in Georgetown University Library and I found it quite sad T-T. I never thought I'd miss the place so much...and the people...*sigh. Bye Reference desk people, bye clipboard people, bye afro dude, bye Trippy!ToT

hehe...but I did get some pics of Trippy sleeping as a souvenir(did i spell that right?)

Later on that night we went to some shoe shop to hunt down some shoes to give to our relitives in the Philippines. After that I ended the day with a nice nap. Then I woke up at 4 am(it's so weird, I automatically wake up at 4 am now)
Today began with me listening so some canto-pop and then I spent most of my time at my mom's office studying, until her friend picked us up to go shopping for my school supplies(bleh) and school uniform.(i have a cool school uniform for my new school: caki skort and a white button up shirt that you don't need to tuck in!)
Yeah, that took about 3 hours because the cashiers where having problems in calculating the items. Resting up for the many hours of searching and waiting we ate at Fudruckers. I'm not a fan of burgers, but I was hungry at the time and I'd eat anything. I then played at their mini arcade with my sisters and friends. Their games weren't great, but it's still a cool place to hangout. My little sister got 4 hamburger plushies from that plushie machine with the claw. (What is that thing called?)She was having a blast...>_>i'm sleepy and that's how I ended up home again. The car ride seemed like it was going to take for ever with our "friends" (more like annoying people who follow you around) jabbering about how my new school is going to suck. Neh, life can't be perfect for everyone.

Tomorrow is another busy day. I'm going to help load some boxes and stuff everything in my bags. I can't believe I'm leaving on Sunday. For some reason, I don't feel like going...weird. g2g sleep

   Best Weekend Ever Spent this summer...

It wasn't until July 30th 2005 when I realized how fun weekends could be(a typical weekend for me would be in the library.) Okay so the morning of Saturday, Jul 30th begins withme waking up from my 5 hour sleep^^ I was dragged out of bed to get my oil painting things ready for oil painting class.(Honestly, it wasn't money well spent. My mom could have enrolled me to some learn a language class or PSAT review class.)Yeah. So I quickly painted a sunset in Hawai'i.neh...i could have done better. I was a bit to dark. Well, for my first oil painting I considered it to be pretty good.^^
After an 1 and 1/2 of hunger our family had another small family gathering and ate at Dragon Sea Buffet again to celebrate my Grandparent's anniversary.^^
So when we arrived they waiters recognized us.(we eat here too much) Okay remember the last time I talked about the CD's from this place. Well actually we had just recieved it last Saturday. It was my older sister, Vida,(I'm calling her Ate)that I helped push to ask for a copy of the canto-pop background music. When she asked the waiter for the copy on Saturday, my cousin asked, "Is that her boyfriend?" lol^^ Sorry if you can't relate but it was pretty funny for him ask. My sister came back with 2 CD's and she said the guy asked if she was 20.(hehehe she's only 16 and is picking up a lot of guys already!)
So now it was back to chow time. I couldn't eat much because my braces were ajusted the day before...*sigh...I missed out on a lot of food...*grumble
So instead of stuffing my face full and watched the waiters near the DJ area. lol^^ they know how to make use of their time! It was fun to watch them play around with peanuts that they would through and try catching with their mouths^^
Yea...and the eating in the Buffet was only the beginning of the adventure. Later on that day we were to meet up with Ate's friends at the arcade.(before I go on I'll tell you her friend's names: Isabel[Cesar's sister],Cesar[remember the prom date guy?], Ashlee, Caleb[the last three are part of a band called makeshift airwaves.] Our cousins decided to come along which added on to the lively bunch. We arrived at Springfield Mall and played some DDR while waiting for the rest of the group to come. My cousin, Kuya Gene, is really good in DDR. He says he practices everyday!
So...after the long wait we finally met up with the others play some more games and then came ....Lazer Tag.... It was going to be my first time every playing that game and I felt kinda nervous when the guy was explaing the rules. He sounded as if we we're going to war! So we had booked our game with some other family and decided to play family vs. family or how we saw it, asians vs. non-asians(hey no offense you guys. It's just how an asian thinks when they are suddenly surrounded by a bunch of them)So in we went, our side being green and the other red. It was a pretty cool turff and the way the music exploded in the room made it more suspenseful!^^ It wasn't until 5 minutes into the game did I notice that I didn't have any bullets! Heh, but came out with 4200 points in the first game then -50 in the second. Lol^^ I kept laughing at my little sister, Bianca, because she was a walking target with her white clothes on, but she scored more than I did>_>. Ahhhh!! Got to make this quick! Okay so our time won the first game and the other time won the second.

Now moving on...so after a great game of laser tag we had a game of bumper cars. These things were much easier to steer with and gave an extra bounce when bumping into each other. Cesar got into a broken car so we got another game for free!!!!!! ^o^ Oh yeah!!!
I was a bit dizzy for awhile, then got use to the feeling of walking again when we walked to the arcade upstairs. Reason why is because Kuya Gene here didn't have any confidence of playing DDR infront of the tough guys up there. He said that he likes the arcade downstairs where the little kids say, "WOW! You're really good!" Upstairs he says he mess up all the time because he losses concentration and because he was booed of stage when a guy-girl said, "this guys sucks."
When we arrived upstairs it was filled with asian DDR freaks!!! Geez, it's as if they live there or something. Ha! They think they look so tough the way they deal cards!...well yeah they did>_>. So our plan was to stick up for Kuya Gene,but instead got distracted with the dinosaur game as we squished into the small booth thingy.
The rest of the day we just went browsing through the mall and then said goodbye to the two couples, Ashlee and Caleb. And later dropped Cesar and Isabel off at the metro.
The day finished off with the family watching "The Shining"[a so-so movie].

Sunday was blah. We just packed up for our pasalubong(did I spell the right?)

   ...blah

Right now, the computer I'm using is messed up so there won't be any cosplay anime or junk of the day today. So...it's about there's only a week left until my vacation begins! Yay! I can't wait!.....lalala....(randomness)...okay so about my trip to Japan. Well, I'm a bit nervous for various reasons...
1. I'm the only one in my family who knows more than two japanese words or phrases

2. It's the only country we've been to without any information on it.

4. We have to sneak into our hotel room because they only allow 2 adults and 1 child(for those who don't know, I have 2 sisters)

3. The new fad in Japan. If you guys haven't heard about it, well, it's a bit perverted. It's a scheme where you have a camera and a guy pulling down a girl's underwear@_@
I'll be sure to wear pants the whole time I'm there!!!

Yea....and that's it..

I have to drop my sister off at her SAT thing today. Sorry I can't go to all of your sites! I might be able to go on tonight!

   Weekend

This weekend we had some of our relitives come over to celebrate my aunt's birthday. The first thing we did to celebrate was to go on a shopping spree at a yard sale. You couldn't believe the cool things they were giving away and the prices!! A chair that was in great condition was sold for $2!! We acquired a lot of junk that day. I was happy to have gotten a Bruce Lee video tape, but when I played it, it was Swan Lake!!! >_< Oh, well we could put in our recyled gift pile...
So, anyway, after our long day of item hunting, we ate at Dragon Sea Buffet(DSB) and filled our stomaches with platefuls of food.^u^mmmmmmm...After waiting for the rest to finish I listened to the chinese-pop "background" music(it was pretty loud 2 b just bg music). It sounded really cool so I asked a waiter what CD is was and they said they would give me a copy, just like that!^^te-he
(oh, and I accidentally ate sushi with shrimp inside. I'm lucky that shirmp isn't a fatal allergy.^^ My throat got itchy a bit and it was hard to breathe for a while. I'm fine now)

When we arrived home we watched "The Eye" It's a really good movie and great to watch with the family. I was always freaked out at the scary parts as I would cover my face w/ a pillow^^
I suggest you see it with a group of friends or family. You'll be in for a treat.^^

After that we watched "Constantine" It was cool to have the first scene with a filipino family. But what I hated was when they spoke in tagalog(filipino language) and the captions said "unknown language"!!! The least they could have put was "foreign language",

Yeah, so, anyway we fell asleep and the left....

I'm rushing so I can get some things done!

   home

I got to stay home for once!^^
Oh and about the ajikan junk pics. i'm going to post them up on Monday for sure!
Okay so I'm bored and you're probrably bored so that's why you're on the computer reading this. hmmmm...what to write. I know! I give you some Ajikan Trivia:
- when I was small I that smiling ment "show your teeth"
- I've been to 12 states(VA,PA,MD,NJ,NY,NC,SC,IN,OH,IL,FL,CA)
- I've been to 5 countries(U.S.A, Philippines,France,Japan,Korea)
- I use to call rain "water flies" when I was little
- In 2nd grade, I got stitches on my cheek from playing tag.(some guy ran into me and his tooth went right through. Amazingliy, it didn't hurt.)
- I'm a mango fanatic
- I'm allergic to cats,pollen,and shrimp(heh, I wasn't a fan of shrimp anyway)

that's all I can think of for now.

   ...

The anime thing yesterday wasn't a total rip off. I learned a lot from the guy's lecture about anime history. Well for those who are interested, here are some interesting stuff:
1951- "Astroboy" by Osamu Tezuka, is the first manga.
-Osamu Tezuka was inspired by the cartoons, Betty Boo and Popeye
- first generation of manga was about robots.
-"Metropolis" is a contribution of the manga "Astroboy"(it's a must see if you're really in anime, which all of you are so...just watch it)

Yeah and that's mostly it. the rest wasn't new about his job as an artist. It takes a lot of creativity, quick thinking, and understanding. I'll leave it at that.

As for my day so far...hmmmm..I watched Trippy make a fool of himself again and saddly Golly Day got a new job somewhere so the library is a bit dreary now.

I can't wait to get away from my home town. Sometimes there are other places beyond home where life is more...
