   Japan

On our trip to the Philippines in August we're going to stop by Japan for 4 days!!! I can't wait!! We're still deciding weather we should stay in Tokyo or Nagoya. Does anyone have any sugguestions?
Another great thing has come up! The Embassy of Japan has a program of Japanese Etiquette and Manners for young American
people who will spend 2-3 years as teachers at public schools in Japan.This program (JET Program) has been sending more than 2000 teachers from the U.S. and has been very successul. I was asked to draw several situations to match the types of manners! I know it isn't much but my drawings being used in the Embassy of Japan?! I'm so excited!!


oh yea,to all those who are wondering what movie I watched last friday, I watched Star Wars Episode III. Look at the previous post for more details^o^

   Days go bye

Sorry I haven't post anything these past days. I've been spending time with my relitives before they're off to the Philippines. Well acutually they left 3 hours ago.
I was the best 2 days I've spent in a long time!
On Friday I had no school and spent the day at home watching the "Rat Race"(a hilarious movie!!). It was great watching it with my cousins as they made outrages remarks.^o^ Later on we went to the mall walked around for a bit and then watched "Star Wars Episode III etc." It was a good movie, but not my type. I thought the acting was corny, they should have gotten better actors. Resting our backs from being in the second row of the theatre, we ate a Burger King. We scratched out the scratch cardsn the french fries cardboard containers whatever you call it, and won a milkshake, hushbrowns, and an apple pie! It was a lucky night.

Today we watched parts of "God of Cookery" again and then made brownies! I can't cook, bake, etc. So this was my first time to make brownies and my cousins too!
We divided into 2 groups. In one group was Kuya Junjun and my older sister. In the second group was my cousin Kuya Vito, my sister, Bianca, and me!
Our group had a headstart, but then had trouble with the caramel, but it turned out okay. It was a teeny bit cakeish though. Junjun and Ate(this means older sister) didn't have a moist batch, but their's turned out chewy! The judges(aunts,uncles,parents,etc.) were suppose to choose which was the "God of Cookery" in our little brownie compitition. Thought they didn't choose, I knew ours was the best of course^^
Our cousins really enjoyed this baking expirence!

In their last hours in the states, we played with PS2 at the same time watching "White Noise." I didn't get the movie mostly because I was playing with the PS2 most of the time, but I would always cover my ears to the sound of suspenseful music in the background. I'm not a fan of horror movies! It's just hate it when the monsters or someone would just pop out@_@!

It was sad to see them leave, but we are going to see them in 2 months in the Philippines!

   Rest

Today we had a easy english exam and so I'm out of school early!Yay! At about 3:00 my mom is going to pick me up and my cousins and sisters, and I, and then are going to Springfield Mall to watch a movie (a farewell present for our cousins who are going back to the Philippines T_T) Then we'r going to a store called "Anime FX" that has great sales on posters, tapes, manga, etc. Though I don't like how the cashier follows me around. I feel so paranoid! What's also great about that plae is how it expresses the japanese culture. Like at Christmas time, you pay them $15 to wrap a present for you in a japanese style. It looks great, but that's really expense.

I'm so happy I don't have school tomorrow! I earned my time of resting.

   the final final will be my final

What a weird title...anyway! My first final is over. My social studies exam started out great...I could believe I knew the first 50 questions! Then it went down hill at the filibuster issue. I just don't get it. American history is made of fights, wars, why did they try to make history so complicated!Like my classmate said, "We just sit down in old plastic desks, having old people teach us about more old people." I don't hate history and all the great people who made it, I just like to blame them sometimes when life gets hard.
Tomorrow's the "english" exam and it is going to be so easy. There aren't any diagramming, vocab, etc. We just type about topics like, "who do you look up to?" or "Name a point in your life when you got lost." I don't have to study for this!^o^

Life beyond the finals are going okay. When my cousins went shopping yesterday they came back with a DVD about wrestling. I didn't know they were the type. I'm not a fan of wrestling. It's just way to cruel! Unlike martial arts, they fight for fun without honor or respect.

   nothing...

So my relitives are back from NYC. On my sisters trip they got to go to Time Square and got to see "Phantom of the Opera." Then she got to go to China Town with the little time that she had and brought me some slippers!^^
I don't know what had happened with the other group of relitives. They had just arrived home at 1:00am. They get to shop around, while I'm a school...lucky. There isn't much to tell. Oh yea! I have a social studies exam tomorrow! I need to study!(I suck a s.s >_>) Zaijan!

   Lol!

Last night I watched a movie one of the great movies by Stephen Chiau(My kung-fu idol!) "God of Cookery" will have you laugh until you get a heart attack! It is super hilarious! I'm looking forward in watching his other movies, "Kung-fu Hustle" and "King of Comedy." I'm always up for a good laugh^o^

   Movie after movie after movie...

Well, I didn't have to study every single hour, instead we watched a bunch of cool movies. First we watched "Senseless." It's a story about some guy trying to get into the stock market business with super powers. The story isn't that great, but it can create some great laughs.
The next movies was Ocean 12, which I'm sure most of you know the story to already. For those who haven't watched Ocean 11 or 12, I suggest you watch it. It's intriging to watch robbers enact such creative plans. I enjoyed watching both of them.
Next is "Orange County."(It has nothing to do with the TV series the "OC") It's story of a boy in Orange County, who is applying for Stanford University to become a writer. He doesn't get in and has no support from his obnoxcious family. This has a great indepth story with many hilarious moments. Though it isn't a must see movie.
And for the final and movie of the day is..."House of Flying Daggers." This movie is supper awsome. All of you must have watched or heard of this movie. For those who haven't, I'll just say it's a must see movie.

My head ached watching that many movies!!O.o

So life in NYC is okay I guess. Even if my Dad didn't sleep at all before the 6 hour drive to NYC, everyone is still in one piece. I don't know about my sister. Knowing how careless she is, she may have gotten lost. Nothing much to say now...Zaijan!

   Weekend

Today my sister went to New York City with the rest of the chorus group to sing somewhere and they get paid!! Maybe with some luck she'll give me some muhla.... probably not. So she's there for 4 days, doing whatever(watching movies, tours, eating in great restaurants,shop in a such a lively city...*sob), then my Dad's going to take my relatives(that are visiting here in the states) to NYC also exploring the great activities above, as my sister, Mom, and I sit at home studying as if it's our only reason to live.(which may seem like at sometimes)

so how is your weekend going to be like?
