Welcome 2007
Well, sorry about not being around to the O. Apparently, the holidays brought many gifts to me, so I was mostly checkin them out. They're awesome. Well, I'll try to be around more often during the new year. 2007 looks promising.

Twilight Princess complete!
Well, I finally found the time to finish Twilight Princess the other day. It's just amazing. There are still Heart Pieces amongst other things to search for in the game, so I will come back to the game another time. The story is still wonderful and the gameplay is rock-solid. It's amazing and worth buying for either system.

As a weapon...
How a writer feels about his creations...I did some thinking about that subject. Creating the characters, the songs, each piece of a story, it becomes more than fiction. They may not be real, but I know that they are important to me. I wrote a poem recently, depicting how I use my words, whether as dreams, messages...or as weapons. They defend my consciousness with an endless amount of power...and no one else shall tell them what to do. Call me controlling, but I treasure my creations more than anyone else, and I won't let anyone destroy them.
So my question is this: if you write, draw, create, what is your opinion on how you portray your fiction? Anyone willing to answer can comment.

Band names
I might create a short story featuring a fictional band to present my songs on FictionPress. I'm thinking of a few names for the band, but I'm still considering. Since then, the songs were performed by simply AK the Twilight. If this takes off and I can get some instrumentals, the band may become a reality. But who knows? Here's some names worth considering.
Eye of Glass
The Wall
Earthshaker
The Musicians
Fiction
The Asylum
Sewn Shut
The Field
Pendulumn
There are a tremendous amount more, but if anyone has any suggestions or knows if any of these names are taken already, comment please.

Jump! Ultimate Stars
Call it a steep wish, but I asked for Jump! Ultimate Stars for Xmas. In case you don't know, it's a DS game that's similar to Super Smash Bros., but instead of Nintendo characters, there's characters from nearly all the Shounen Jump manga, I think more than 100 different characters. Not only that, but it's Wi-Fi, so it's basically online Smash Bros with anime characters. Yeah, it's awesome. The only problem is that it's not in English. Because of the many licensing companies that own the different anime rights, it probably won't come to the US. But considering that the DS is region-free, all ya gotta do is read some Japanese. For an online, portable Smash Bros. with anime characters, that's a small price to pay. Although, I don't know if I'll get it at all. Oh well.
I also changed the theme song. Sparta's new single rocks, with some great instrumentals and singing.

A Twilit Eye
I returned to one of my stories today and attempted to write a new chapter. It was successful, and I do feel rather proud. Here's a short poem for the folks at the O.
Circling light
Shattered tonight
I search for something
Something precious
For the time found
Around, around
A broken sound
All senses pulse
All senses focus
Pay attention
Till twilight becomes
In world's eye

More Twilight Princess talk...
I plan to play Twilight Princess more this weekend; the last time I played it was Monday and I didn't play it since then. I encountered the final dungeon (which is difficult), but thus far, the story is so intricate and amazing that I need to restate this once more: buy the game. Buy a Wii, or if you absolutely must, pick it up for Gamecube later this month. It's just too amazing to miss.

Not Around
I feel sort of guilty posting my poetry here other than FictionPress. Hmmm...maybe I outta write some songs for Puppetmistress. I'll try to get on that. For now, here's a second poem.
Sitting upon broken earth
A peaceful breeze upon my shirt
I want to feel it, just as you
Wanted me to, even when you're
Not around.
Under a quiet willow tree
The leaves swirl and dance by me
You walk invisibly, all alone
I'm nearby as you walk home
But I'm not around.
Calmly watch the sunset sky
Into your brilliant shining eyes
Your home is patient
But not I.
For you are not around.
Hope you like it...it means quite a bit.

Towering
Upon towers
I can see the sun
Beneath their steeples
So lost, I feel lost
Then the climb
To the outlook where
I see the sun
So close, so far
Until I can walk
Upon the sky
The sun will be out of my reach.
Beside a sunset
And reaching with no return
I still fight.
I still search.
I still wander.
Another piece of mine. Writing makes me feel happy. It's not too complex, but hopefully, you all will read it.

It's just a great game.
All I can say to excuse my absence is the greatness that is Zelda: Twilight Princess. So close to the end of the game; twas quite a journey, worth any gamer's time. Controls, graphics, dungeon design, story, outside of some minor gripes, I can't find any serious problems with this game. Don't worry though; all the good things most likely will transfer to the Gamecube game, to all who aren't lucky enough to buy Nintendo's newest (and really amazing system). I cannot say it enough: play Twilight Princess.
