Twilight Princess is amazing. Buy it now.
Well, after the restock, I bought a "you-know-wat". I was the first in line. I also bought Twilight Princess, which is so much fun. I can't say that the slashing motion with the controller is particularly groundbreaking, but the story, graphics, and um, everything else, is just amazing. To anyone who bought or plans to buy a "you-know-wat" it should be a simple action to buy Twilight Princess too. And to anyone who owns only a Gamecube, pick it up for the Gamecube. The adventure is still worth it.
First Virtual Console game I plan to buy is Super Mario 64. After a close look at the shop, there really isn't much. Sonic Mega Collection includes the original Sonic, Zelda Collector's Edition includes the original Zelda, so there isn't a ton left. Bomberman '93 looks good for multiplayer, and F-Zero looks great too. More are coming, so I'll constantly be checking back.
In conclusion, buy it.

Not good enough...
I didn't make it in time. By the time I got to the store, they were sold out. I'm upset with myself; I feel that I did not plan it well enough. Oh well, I'll try to find one before Xmas.
If anyone has been checking out my FictionPress profile, you may see a song I created called "Hex Song". It's a pretty complex one, rather dark, but I do like it. When I write, I want to be in my world, and "Hex Song" drives it well. My world, so complex, but I think it's beautiful...

Link
I put my FictionPress profile link here. Check the Website link on the side of the page. I have a bunch of stories, poetry, and stuff to all who wish to see it. Hope you enjoy it.
November 19th is approaching, although my friends and I are still planning what to do. I will probably buy Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis before then, so I'll have another game to play until the time comes. After the time comes, look for me online under the same name: AK the Twilight. Till then, I'm still being patient.

Dragonball Z Madness!
Well, I watched the Fusion Reborn DBZ movie the other day. Did anyone else think it ended badly? Now, I think DBZ is a very good anime, one of the best, in my opinion. I remember seeing other DBZ movies; one of the best anime movies, in my opinion, is Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan. I knew going in what the story was about. I knew about Janemba and the Spirit World and all that, but the battle just felt short. I mean, Gogeta killed Janemba in a single move. I agree with a strong protagonist, but where's the struggle? Along with that, Janemba with his sword, pixelized evasion, and little portal technique, man, he shouldn't be defeated by a single move. Well, hopefully the last DBZ movie "Wrath of the Dragon" will be a bit more...balanced.
Speaking of DBZ, how about that DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for the "you-know-wat"? Move the controller to perform special attacks like the Kamehameha. It looks awesome. With over 100 characters, I don't think the developers can go wrong. The addition of movie characters (along with returning Saiyan tank, Broly, who's just awesome) and Garlic Jr. (who really had no reason to not be in any of the other games) it just looks to be great. DBZ fans will love this game, I'm sure, but I'm still curious and slightly nervous as to how the controls will work. We'll see what happens at the end of the week.

Dreams in dreams...
I know some people are already annoyed by my constant bombardment of gaming talk, but I really gotta. It's just amazing. But, I actually will talk about something else this time.
I had a strange dream the other night. In fact, it was a dream INSIDE a dream. The dream involved me dreaming of fictional characters that I created inside another dream. The outside dream involved me as a skilled, but not phenomenal manga illustrator. In the dream, I communicated with one of my beautiful creations. I woke up, and was so freaked out. Never before did I witness a dream within a dream. I got over it quickly, although it still intrigues me...

One week...
Well, it's finally come. It's the last week of the current generation of consoles. Man, looking back, it definitely was worth it. It was during this time that I could classify myself as a true gamer. Back when I bought a Nintendo 64, I just wanted to play games. Now, I feel that I am a video gamer. The "you-know-wat" is gonna rock gaming forever, and I cannot wait. It's almost like waiting for Christmas. Well, in honor of this momentous occasion, I'm gonna ask a question, in homage to mamma DX's Question of the Day.
After seeing the first round of games out for the Virtual Console, what's the first game you're going to check out (if possible)?
For me, (I know it's a cop-out) I can't decide. With all the Nintendo franchises getting their proper honors, there's just so much. I'm just hoping that Sega unleashes some of their old Saturn games in time. That or a sequel to Nights.

Before the next in line comes...
Before its cycle as a console comes to a conclusion, I decided to play my Gamecube a bit. I went back to some favorites like Sonic Heroes, and it's still a blast to play. I have high hopes for the future of gaming, but returning to some of the best games I own really is its own reward. Plus, the next console is backwards-compatible, so I don't have to sell my old Gamecube games, not like I would.

Gaming Groups
As I've played many video games, I've discovered the different gamer types. I am a gamer who isn't solely dedicated to a specific type of game. I play RPGs, shooters, racing, strategy, many different games. I do like classic games. I prefer 2-D Sonic to 3-D Sonic, I like Gunstar Super Heroes for the GBA, and I do like side-scrollers like Alien Hominid (a game I recommend playing).
Don't think this means that that's all I play. I am eagerly awaiting many, many, MANY games. And, yes, I'm still waiting.

Next-gen talk
PS3 fans already standing in line? Wow, that's dedication. But as I stated before, $500-600 is not worth it. Not very many debut titles are appealing to me, and those that are are on other systems. The Sonic PS3 game is good, but also on the 360. The "you-know-wat" is still quickly on its way, and I'm ready for its grand debut.

Ready?
Well, I've been hearing a whole lot of stuff about Gears of War for the Xbox 360. It reminds me of Resident Evil 4 in space. I don't have a 360 and I don't plan to get one anytime soon. $400 is just too much right now. It looks great, though.
