Welcome to my site archives. 10 posts are listed per page.
Here's the beginning. In less than two weeks, the day will come and gaming will change. For the next couple of weeks, I'm gonna be talking about it. So here's the first question not just for me, but for everyone who's gonna purchase the system. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, visit mamma DX)
Question: Favorite game for the debut?
As for me, all the games look great, but I've been waiting for a new Zelda adventure since I finished Wind Waker's quest. After seeing the beautiful trailer of E3 2004, there was no question. Two years and two consoles later, I'm ready for the hero to return to the console. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is my choice.
As for the site, I added a new song. I found the whole Song of the Day idea to be a mess, as the Archives had all the songs playing at once. Well, I'll keep the song in the Profile and change it when necessary. The volume is a bit quiet, so you might have to turn up the music. Right now, the song is the new Deftones single. A mysterious and haunting theme, "Hole in the Earth" has been a recent favorite of mine. The band really has a phenomenal sound and this song is an excellent example. "Hole In the Earth" is also one of those songs that inspires me to write. It's a beautiful song, and I hope you all enjoy it. The band's amazing; go Deftones! Comments (1) |

Still waiting...
Well, weekends rock. I'm probably gonna stick with the current generation till the next-gen comes. I have to keep my game reviewing skills fresh when "you-know-wat" arrives. So beautiful.
In other news, it seems that I'm not the only one who's excited. I will constantly be getting ready, and apparently this little Nintendo fan will be too. Comments (0) |

The Long Road to November 19th
Well, the news has gotten out about the occurances. The "you-know-wat" is still set for November 19th, and the stores are planning midnight openings in honor of the momentous occasion. Here's my chance to test my will as a gamer. I shall wait outside the store with my DS and soda, and I shall stay awake and earn this. This is my goal!
Okay, enough of the theatrics.
As for my stories, I've been inspired, which is rather unsettling. I have so many story ideas in progress, and with poetry still running through my mind, starting another story feels like a bad move. However, I don't plan to make this story long at all; just a simple one-shot short story. I'm not giving out spoilers; that just wouldn't be good.
To anyone who heard I was a Sonic fan, you heard quite correctly, and with the remake of the original Sonic the Hedgehog getting released for the GBA later this month, it's just another good thing after another. Although I'm still pretty skeptical on how simply adding a save feature and the Spin Dash will end up, a $20 price counters the worries.
As for the "you-know-wat," I've decided to get Twilight Princess (seriously, what else did you all think I'd choose) and possibly another game. I'm thinking Red Steel out of the launch titles, or a second controller. Whether a new one or a Classic Controller will be chosen is still being considered. Also, I'm saving all my Gamecube stuff. Backwards-compatibility is good.
As for all the Resident Evil fans out there (you're out there, I know it), it seems that for a mere $40, Gamestop's re-releasing the REmake, RE Zero, and RE4 in a bundle. Although I'm still playing the REmake, I can hardly say it's a bad move. 10 years of Resident Evil means cheap Gamecube bundles. Nice.
Yeah, I'm a gaming fan. It's awesome.
No music or video today. But happy delayed Hallow's Eve...um...please comment. I feel lonely. Comments (1) |

Happy All Hallow's Eve!
I saw Nightmare Before Christmas on TV a few days ago. It was as good as I remember; amazing animation, beautiful story, excellent music, still great. As for tonight, I'm planning to play the REmake. I really can't think of anything else to do. Comments (0) |

Carnival Night Zone, Act 2
Hmm...All Hallow's Eve is coming tomorrow, and I still am not sure what to do. I'll either play the REmake or give out candy. Maybe I'll just run around the neighborhood with my awesome plastic scythe. I have no idea.
If you grew up playing the Sonic games (or have played the recent Mega Collection or other Sonic compilations) you may remember this familiar scene. I remember playing Sonic 3 at home when I was only about 7 years old, only to come to a hault at this location. Carnival Night Zone, Act 2, after the lights come on. Yup, only when I was about 13 did I figure out what to do (I didn't use Gamefaqs). Even today young gamers fall victim to the infamous Carnival Barrel.
Apparently tomorrow isn't just Halloween. It's the day of the Final Fantasy XII release. Yes, many a person (including my RPG-addicted friend) have been eagerly waiting for it to be released after countless delays. I, however, have to save money for the "you-know-wat". November 19th! Comments (0) |

Justine, PS2 controllers, and the LPark
I had to get up WAY too early today. I had to take some academic whatever exam. I remember being told "get protein and caffeine to do well". Apparently, root beer has no caffeine. :/ Well, I did stay awake (barely), and finished no problem. I also rented the REmake for Halloween, and hopefully it's as good as I hear.
As for Justine, she must be banished to the...ROOM OF THE PS2 CONTROLLERS!!! Reason? I'm not tellin. Well, first for telling me about Zinke's costume. That's not funny, man! Not funny! The second reason, oh, that's a well-kept secret. Apparently being Justine's sensei isn't as easy as I had hoped. Oh well...ooh...watching this is kewl.
Well, I recently heard Linkin Park's in-concert version of their new song, Qwerty. It has more yelling from Chester, but Mike's rap vocals back it up. I'm eager to hear what those guys are planning for their next album (which got delayed till 2007), and if the songs follow in the footsteps of their previous albums, consider me interested.
Probably gonna make the Songs and Videos not daily. Hope no one's disappointed.
If you haven't noticed by now...well, I have a new theme. Chaos from the Sonic Adventure series, one of my favorite characters from the entire Sonic series, despite only appearing in only two games (not including the DX Director's Cut). What a guy. Shapeshifting, silent, and not afraid to kick tail. Awesome. Comments (0) |

...Scary...
Last night, I was bored, and in an effort to quell the boredom, I channel surfed. I saw a countdown of the 100 Scariest Movie Moments. Eager to see the different horror movies that appeared, I watched around the last 35. These were easily some of the most psychological, gorey, and scary movies I've ever seen. Many of these movies I've never even seen before; every one had a distinct scare factor that just made it amazing. I cannot believe that I got to sleep so quickly. I actually woke up, still freaked out from the show. I wanna watch it again.
As for RE4, Mendez is much more difficult on Pro. It doesn't help that I've been used to using the fully-upgraded Blacktail, fully-upgraded Striker, fully-upgraded Semi-Auto Rifle, Infinite Launcher, fully-upgraded Handcannon, and an arsenal of grenades and a ton of health items. Now all I have is a Handgun, Shotgun, Rifle, a moderately-upgraded TMP, two Hand Grenades, an Inciendary, a Flash Grenade, and a few health items. Oh well; practice helps.
Well, can't say everything's going right. A rough amount of schoolwork doesn't help. A weekend is needed here.
Instead of a song, I decided to post this, which made me laugh and hopefully will make you all laugh too. Whether you like or dislike DBZ, this will most likely make you laugh. Thanks to those who made and/or linked this.
What was Goku's power level in this fight? Man, I know it, what is it? Darn it, I forgot! Will someone tell me what his power level is?! Comments (1) |

Plans
I like video games. A lot. I probably will bring my DS with me while camping out all night at the launch day of the "you-know-wat". Yes, it'll be great. My friend said his DS is broken, so he'll bring his PSP. Oh well; I have Advance Wars DS and Sonic Rush to keep me awake, and I'll most likely bring Shaman King: Master of Spirits 2. Yes, I really like Shaman King.
Song
"Follow" Breaking Benjamin (We Are Not Alone)
I've liked this band for a seriously long time; they were one of the bands that really got me interested into alternative rock. Their second album is a real hit, with their newly-released Phobia album coming years later, but this is one of my favorites from their second album. Enjoy.
