I finished Super Mario Galaxy. I just need to get all 120 stars. Yeah, that'll take a while. I'm getting a bit better at Halo 3, and the Orange Box is still fun.
Brawl is out in Japan. Now that the lineup is out, I'm not as anxious as before. We'll see who's top tier this round. A bunch will probably pick Ike. When Melee came out, I played as all the characters! Geez...
Still listening to Deftones, Three Days Grace, among many others. Thumbs-up.
Well, it's been a rough week. I'm using this weekend to try and get some rest.
I've been playing Halo 3, Orange Box, and Super Mario Galaxy off and on lately. I love the multiplayer in Halo 3, but I can't win. Seriously, I'm not good. But I love Super Mario Galaxy's world design. It's just amazing.
I do miss my girlfriend a lot. She usually can't get on due to a certain reason that I'd rather not say. Love ya, April, and take care.
And to the rest of you guys, thanks for the support. You all rock. Comments (4) |

Orange Box and N00b Spotting
I got the Orange Box for my 360. It's very fun. I'm addicted to Portal, even though it's extremely short, and I'm currently on Half-Life 2. I'm passing on Team Fortress for now until I get a chance to play with friends or something. Unlike Halo 3, Team Fortress is all multiplayer, so I can't practice.
I did play DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for the Wii. My review is up on Gamefaqs, and yes, this has online play. Too bad its full of lag.
Great talking to folks. Here's something good for fans of Halo 2, but it sort of fits for anyone who is blantantly and annoying new at games.
Hey, hope everyone had a good and safe new year! I welcomed 2008 by nearly finishing Halo 3, but I had to wait until the next day to finish it. What an ending, I tell ya. No spoilers though.
Great to hear from all of my close friends and more-than-friends (you know who you are). If you're looking for me on Xbox Live, Gaia, or FictionPress, my name is the same: AK the Twilight.
Recently I've been eyeing the Orange Box for the 360. Half-Life 2 along with Episodes 1 and 2, plus Team Fortress 2 and Portal. Sounds like a lot, but it's pretty cheap considering there's five games. Rock on, but I need to consider Brawl as well. I won't let myself miss that. Comments (2) |

Happy Holidays!
Hey, hope the holiday season is going well for all of you. I got a slew of cool games to play for Christmas.
Halo 3 and Gears of War for Xbox 360, Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and Super Mario Galaxy for Wii. Shweet. I still need to play Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, but all the other games are plenty fun.
My friends and I are planning an all-night gaming party soon. My friend might even bring Rock Band. I wanna play the drums. They look difficult, but fun to play.
Recently heard about Bullet For My Valentine's new album. I do think that it's too soon for them to put out a new album, but the first single and title track "Scream, Aim, Fire," is some hard-hitting metal worth checking out. Here's the video for the awesome song.
Well, I recently rented Gears of War for the 360. It's fun, but not as good as I had heard. I thought it was Game of the Year material, and although I like it a lot, I don't see how it could have competed with Twilight Princess in 2006. Hmmm...yeah, I love my Wii. I'll try to post my friend code soon.
Finals were difficult! But I did fine, beyond the odds.
Can't wait for Christmas. I love giving gifts to my family. I think they'll be pretty surprised. :) Comments (3) |

Writing Reviews
I finally got up on the Featured Writers at Gamefaqs. It took a few years of writing game reviews and some practice, but I'm looking to try and make my reviews even better. I recently reviewed Kameo for the 360 and will review Zack and Wiki along with Soul Calibur Legends for the Wii. Fun!
School is drawing to a close, which means it's nearly time for finals. Wow. I'm doing my best there; hope you all are too.
Special thanks to everyone who's been keeping track of what goes on around this site. Great to see some excited faces...or names...whatever. Comments (2) |

Bored...
I know it's late, but I picked up WarioWare for the GBA. It's fun, but I still like Smooth Moves more. Wii-imagining is better.
Well, I'm in a game reviewing block here. I play these games, but I miss the fun. RE Umbrella is pretty formulaic, and although I love the Conker remake, the multiplayer is a bit bare. Needs more people, and I don't feel like losing over and over again on Halo 2. Kameo is okay. My friend works at Blockbuster and he gets games early. Oh well.
All this week, AK has been in over his head. I mean, start the week off with some exams and it really takes toll on you. Next I need to wrap some stuff up for my Newspaper class. Yeah, I like Newspaper. I want to work for a gaming magazine some day, so I need to focus on skills. That and finding colleges, which is a real challenge. Don't get me wrong: my transcript is really good. It's just a bit overwhelming.
