Recently hooked my 360 up online. After playing Halo 2 for a while, I must say, I'm really not good at it. It's not as mind-blowing as I thought it would be. Bummer. I downloaded a demo of Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360, only to be underwhelmed. Sonic doesn't move fast, he has no brakes, and is a huge hassle to control. I'll need to pick up the full game soon, just in case.
As for my Wii, Umbrella Chronicles is pretty meh. It's fun, but it's no RE4. I'm still anxiously awaiting RE5, which I'll pick up for my 360 or if possible, the PS3. It's been one year ago exactly that I played the Wii for the first time, and I still love it. Amazing system. Comments (4) |

I gots a 360.
Well, I finally got an Xbox 360. I still need to buy some serious games *cough* Halo 3 *cough*. Excuse me. But I played Kameo: Elements of Power. Pretty fun. And I rented Naruto: Rise of a Ninja and Timeshift. Rise of a Ninja is fun; Timeshift is not.
I'll be on Xbox Live now, so if you are a part of the community, watch for AK the Twilight.

Uh...hi again.
1. I wish I had an Xbox 360. I love my Wii, but my friend has Halo 3, and when he brought it over to my house a week or so ago, it was amazing. I'm earning money pretty slowly, so I'm really eager to finally be able to get a 360. Once I get a decent job, I'll aim for the PS3.
2. Brawl delayed. Yeah I'm upset. A lot of us are. But if Nintendo wants it to be great then it'll be worth it. With online co-op, online VS. battles, and...
3. Sonic's in Super Smash Bros. Brawl!!! No one knows how excited I am about this. It's flat-out amazing. Nintendo rocks. Wii forever! Comments (3) |

You like post long time...
Hey, I'm back from a long, emotional, game-filled, hiatus. Don't worry: there's lots to talk about.
1. Brawl online. Although Sakurai-sama says it'll be tough, this is the answer to the prayers of many. Look for AK online in Brawl immediately when the game comes out in December. As to which character I plan to compete with, that's still in the deciding phase.
2. Picked up two old school games. Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64 (absolutely love it) and Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for the Gamecube (been playing it on Wii, love it and it's really scary) Conker's getting to be a top character. He's so freakin' awesome. Finished the Conker review, and I'm pretty proud of it.

The Pursuit
Here's a new song that I recently heard. You may remember Evans Blue's "Cold (But I'm Still Here)," a great song in my opinion. Here's their single "The Pursuit" from their new album. Check it out!
Don't worry; I've been keeping tabs on my site. There just hasn't been much to talk about.
My girlfriend broke up with me, and I'm kinda upset about it. But I kinda saw it coming. We didn't spend a lot of time together. We're still friends though, so it's okay. I'm gonna stay away from relationships for a while. Wounds need to heal, you know?
I did pick up Resident Evil 4 for the Wii and I love it. Just as fun as when I played it on the Gamecube in 2005.

I played New Super Mario Bros. for my DS. It's fun and although there isn't much new stuff, it's a fun, pick-up-and-play game that can be recommended for any DS owner.
I feel a bit upset. I'm not writing reviews or poetry very much lately. I dunno what's up, but I know that I need to get back to writing again.

Midori Days and "I Get It": Thumbs-up!
I finished watching Midori Days. I don't want to spoil the ending, but I thought it could've been resolved a bit better. It's an enjoyable (though brief) comedy romance romp. Its ending had the same feeling as the end of another great anime, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. Midori Days is definitely worth a serious look to fans of more constructive shounen romance series. It's charming, funny, and definitely worth any anime fan's time.
The reason it's a great romance anime is that it illustrates the main couple perfectly. You know who Seiji's gonna end up with as a girlfriend from square one. Midori even (literally) spells it out on her shirt. Midori and Seiji are a great couple and make the anime work. It's great to see funny anime really spell out their main coupling as well as Seiji and Midori's romance is. Thumbs-up.
But look at AK, rambling on with a quick anime review. Well, check out Midori Days. It's plenty funny and plenty romantic. Check it out.
Outside of that, Chevelle's new single "I Get It" rocks. It wasn't my favorite song on Vena Sera at first, but now it's becoming one of my top songs of the album, close behind "Straight Jacket Fashion" and "Well Enough Alone". Guess Who's Bored?
I recently got hooked on this weird anime Midori Days. A girl becomes a guy's right hand. Right hand. One of the weirdest anime seen by me. Well, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan doesn't count.
