Summertime...
I recently picked up the first Buso Renkin GN. It's created by the guy behind Rurouni Kenshin, and it's actually good. A bit generic in some places, but the main characters are unique. Kazuki's not just a learning warrior, but he's a bit of the ladies' man. Tokiko is your typical warrior girl. It's not the best series from what I read, but it's pretty entertaining.
I also got Musashi Samurai Legend for my PS2. I recently got re-addicted to Super Smash Bros. Melee.
4th of July is coming! You don't see many holidays in the summer; it's great to see them. Although the people in my neighborhood starting shooting their fireworks, like, a week before today. Too much enthusiasm. -_-

Phantom Hourglass...October 1
Hi! AK here! Well, I'm happy because I just wrote a game review. I really was slacking off. Too busy going to birthday parties.
Well, I'm trying to start playing Wind Waker again. Yeah, Twilight Princess still is better, but I like Wind Waker, and since we now gots a release date for Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the DS (October 1), I should check up on the original.
And Red Steel is bad. Funny bad, but still bad.
Take care, people.

I Didn't Forget!
I gotta hand it to my friends. They really value our friendship.
The other night was my friend's birthday party. We play video games all night. Apparently I didn't get the rescheduling info and thought it was the night after. My friends gathered and drove to my house to tell me. Anyone else probably woulda passed it off, but my friends really thought that it wouldn't be a party without AK. That or my friend just wanted an extra $20 as a present. Thanks again, guys.
As for my friends online, it's become pretty tough. Each time it gets tough, I listen to music.

Return of AK
Well, here's my first real post in quite a while. Since I couldn't use my computer, I basically played my DS. Mario Kart DS, Meteos, and of course Jump Ultimate Stars all rock. I also picked up Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. It's fun.
Red Steel is actually better than I expected. Console FPS with Wii Remote? Kewl.
My story is picking up great. Since I wasn't able to use my comp, I brainstormed some character information. Character bios are in the works; they help me analyze the characters better. The influences behind them are...well...that's for another time. :)

Well...
My parents say that I can't be on for about a week or so. I do talk online a whole lot; maybe I need a break. I may try to sneak on if I get a chance. :P
So, before I go: I checked out Red Steel and it's much better than I heard. Shooters get a good life on the Wii.
Well, until next time (when I don't know), bye people!

There once was a man...
I remember researching for a paper I was writing about a man. This man always was getting what he wanted, but right when he got it, it was taken from him. With each thing taken, he grabbed the remains and created beautiful tapestries. Some of the most beautiful works of art were created out of something the man never wanted to happen. The man was not happy. The man kept losing everything he ever desired and he died alone. The only thing remaining was his works; works fueled by pain, suffering, and agonizing truth.
This man was Edgar Allan Poe...and this man was a true hero.

Weekend Interruption
Man, I gotta get up real early in the morning to perform some school thing. I wanna sleep on the weekend! Hopefully there'll be games at the fair I get to go to. Also, anime!
I'm trying to work out some important factors in my story. I'm taking it step-by-step and jumping from part-to-part to make sure each one is as good as it can be.
Underoath, Linkin Park, and Chevelle are still being played regularly in my music, and I'm tempted to watch Haruhi Suzumiya again. I also need to check out the new Wii games. I'm thinking SSX Blur. :)

The Writing Project: OMG!
Okay, here's a little teaser as to what I want to do with this new project. I'll number it all off for your people.
1. I decided to not submit it to FictionPress. This is gonna be all AK's deal, which means that it's still open to real publication.
2. It incorporates music, but not just me writing songs like on FictionPress. I wanted to put some more substance with the songs.
3. I'm actually trying to really treat this like a single book. I'm taking notes, forming plotlines and I'm not just writing it from start to finish like my other stories. I want this to really be a full-on piece of literature.
Well, new info will come when the time comes. Thanks for your support, people!

MP3 and RE4
Hey guys, what's up? Well, it seems that summer has sprung. I might actually get a good job this summer. I'm crossing my fingers for this job, because it sounds like something I can actually do, unlike fast food, which I do NOT want to work at.
The first thing I need to buy is a good MP3 player, preferably an IPhone. I'm not a huge fan of Apple, but I wish people would get it through their thick skulls that the IPod IS AN MP3 PLAYER. I'm sick of hearing: "I don't want an MP3 Player. I want an IPod." That's not using your brain.
Oh, RE4 for the Wii. Well, the Gamecube version was amazing, and I saw the Wii gameplay videos on Youtube. Waving the Wiimote replaces button mashing. I need to play the game to understand targeting and stuff, and I still need to see the PS2 extras. Looks good, RWii4. I'll write the full review soon.
