Getting back from the orthodontist, I was worried. Apparently my wisdom teeth are coming in wrong. I think they're gonna pull 'em. *sigh*
On a lighter note, Haruhi Suzumiya still rocks. Playing my Nintendo 64 rocks too. Yeah, I got a Wii and I love it, but after hearing of a Rareless Virtual Console (meaning no Banjo Kazooie series) I rebought (yeah, I sold one then bought another one years later) a Nintendo 64 last year. So much fun.
My new writing project is still in the brainstorming phase, so I'm still typing up notes and stuff to get this going. For now, I fondly reminisce about another project, another "goth guy & goth girl story" I started years ago. A writer's work is never done. Comments (3) |

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Okay, I saw FLCL many times. I saw Super Milk-chan. I saw many different anime that are called "weird". But this is basically a slap in the face, then laughing that I was quote-on-quote "sadly mistaken." The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is the flat-out weirdest anime yet. Expectantly, it's also extremely popular. Which is good, because the anime rocks. An eccentric god-like girl who wishes for anime-esque actions to appear, watched over by otherworldly "friends" all wrapped up by Haruhi's "chosen" Kyon. Beneath this crazy world's story is some...well...buy the DVD. It's also plenty funny. Too bad the good anime are nearly always short; this one clocks out at 14 episodes.
In between watching this stellar anime, I am currently deciding whether to begin a new writing project, and if so, whether to post it on FictionPress.com. This project is, outside of the Orichalcum novel I am currently posting on FictionPress, what I believe to be the most novel-worthy concept yet. Future information should arise soon.
It never ends! Does anyone like Tom Nook? I think he's a lying, cheating con artist. Don't fall for it! He wants your money!
Egoraptor is a phenomenal artist, and his works are hilarious (though sometimes full of profanity) Comments (0) |

Painting Pictures
I noticed something important about the music I listen to. If anyone has seen a video, a musical video, you see a connection between the sight and sound of the work. Music that can paint pictures and immediately show the visualization is the kind of music I listen to. It's one reason that I want to make AMVs, because I want to make films with music. I recently listened to "Shadow of the Day" from Linkin Park's new CD, and throughout the entire song I could see what was happening.
"Hands Held High" inspired me to write a small poem during school. I might post it some other time.
I was listening to "Hands Held High." I remembered something important to me, and I broke down crying. Things don't normally make me cry. Why was I crying...? I don't know, but I'm still looking for peace. Call me weak, but I know how important happiness can be. I had it once...heh...yeah.
If anyone hears this...well, if you already did, thank you for signing my guestbook. *smiles* Some people don't know how much a bit of recognition can go. Thank you all. Comments (2) |

Minutes to Midnight
I'm upset. Not at myself, but with Linkin Park. Man, I heard of a huge change in their style of music for their new album Minutes to Midnight and they definitely made a change. But that's not why I'm upset; it's because I was in such a bad mood, so upset to begin with, then Linkin Park goes all happy and hopeful. So now I can't be upset.
Great job, Linkin Park. I love your music all over again.
I really like Leave Out All the Rest, Hands Held High, and my current top choice from the album, Shadow of the Day.
I know some of you can feel pretty down sometimes, but...*tear* this brought back some hope. Take care, everyone. Comments (0) |

I loved this song before it became a single. I don't know how much of a fan I am by that, but...well, that's how things go. Comments (0) |

You're Ever So Inviting
The time has come for you to sit this out
To fit inside your mold
Would be to sell myself short
This ground we tread upon
we turn the pages left to right
is now filling up to our necks
We see everything
This ground we tread upon
we turn the pages left to right
is now filling up to our necks
We see everything
Oh, my story's growing and growing it is
on my last request
Don't make me feel so contradicting
There's no room for cheating and being yourself
Failure leaves such a bitter taste in their mouth
And on the last hour
we write so many new chapters again
And on the outside
where there are no surprises
This ground we tread upon
we turn the pages left to right
is now filling up to our necks
We see everything
Oh it's getting longer and longer come one
I see it in their eyes
You bring me so much closer
You can do this night after night after night
Failure leaves such a bitter taste in my mouth
Taste and see, I swear I know what's good
Be still and know that they won't lie to you
every single time you're facing lies
This ground we tread upon
we turn the pages left to right
is now filling up to our necks
This ground we tread upon
we turn the pages left to right
is now filling up to our necks
we see everything
I know why you never take your eyes off of me
I've used my lungs for everything but breathing
I know why you never take your eyes off of me
I've used my lungs for everything but breathing
I find myself dried up in this conversation
So pull me out, pull me aside
I find myself dried up in this conversation
So pull me out, pull me aside
This ground we tread upon
we turn the pages left to right
This ground we tread upon
we see everything
This ground we tread upon
we turn the pages left to right
This ground we tread upon
we see
I don't know...maybe I listened to too much Underoath but...I feel empty. I need something, but I don't know what. At this rate, my FictionPress account is gonna wake up again. I post a lot of my poetry there. Poetry...I'm still looking for something. But what...? Comments (2) |

Finals are going to be so difficult. I honestly don't know if I'm gonna pass Calculus. There's so much I need to know. I'm dedicating part of this weekend to studying. Since I can't stand silence, I'm gonna play music. Music is great.
As for my other finals, there really isn't anything else that I need to worry about. Well, I really shouldn't be online, but I designated one part of the weekend to studying, so I should try to let the rest of the weekend for fun.
