*cringe* Sunday
That means tomorrow is Monday. Man, what a short weekend. I had a good time at the mall today. Hot Topic forever! I got a good deal on a shirt and some pins. And those Taco Bell tacos. Yeah, so they're not real authentic Mexican food, but they're good. Real good. And nachos. Well, Monday is stealthfully coming, and I gotta go to school. Dang.

Waking Up
Well, this weekend went by so fast. I woke up today thinking it was Sunday. I did go to sleep a little early last night. Hopefully I'll be awake long enough to see the anime. *sigh* Well, thanks everybody. :P

My Friends Are Important
I really needed a weekend. Good that I got it.
What a week, but one thing I am proud of is seeing other peoples' sites on theO. The community is a major part of this site, but I'll never forget my first friends here. It's great to feel like a veteran here, even though I really gots a ways to go. I'm quite willing to read authors' works and see artists' drawings. It's been a goal of mine to be a bit more social, even though I'm pretty distant in real life. To everyone who's introduced me or I introduced myself to, thanks a ton!

AMVs?
Still loving the Chevelle album. They aren't the biggest band ever, but their music is pure, instrumental, and picturesque, which is amazing for making AMVs. I hope to get started making AMVs. Tips would be kindly appreciated.
It's been better around here, but I'm still thinking of how to write my poetry better.
Good luck, friends.

AK's Chronicle (the O) #1
After picking up the new Chevelle album Vena Sera I found myself beginning to write my poetry more seriously. I hope my writing is still retaining its quality, in my humble opinion. Here's another O-exclusive, this one inspired by the song "Straight Jacket Fashion" by Chevelle.
Watching my own eyes burn
The teeth in my mouth are breaking
Red eyes, numb teeth
Crashing against the wall.
You possess no strength!
You eyesore...
Now you speak with a smile so maniacal
Call out someone's name
I don't care who.
Go ahead and take your fear with you!
-AK
I was really conflicted here. I just hope someone reads this. I may need to take a break from theO.

. . . a poem for you all. . .
I'm feeling really upset. I just can't rest. There's so much going on right now. Maybe it's time for some poetry, exclusive to theO.
Twilight Mandragora
From the thick twilit sky
I begin to worry more
I'm so defenseless
Not even the strong loving words can defend me
Words are words.
Love is love.
But what are they both?
Could a crippled soul as I,
Standing with fist on earth,
Find sanctuary?
Is sanctuary the pale phantom,
The playful sprite who winks and smiles?
With each grin, another win.
With each punch, another rush of nervousness.
The fairy child that eludes me
Is one that I cannot quell
Into a peaceful submission.

Another Surprise from RE4
Talk about a surprise.
RE4 for Wii
I did not expect this at all. I knew RE4 would create a lasting impression but a full on R-Wii-4? (or Wiimake or ReWii, yeah that play on words was awful) Apparently packing in the extras from the PS2 RE4 is another bonus. I really want to see this because I know how great RE4 is. *hasn't finished Pro Mode yet after playing through all extra modes, unlocking all extra weapons, and played the Story mode all over again to see the new weapons* Yeah. RE4 rocks.

You Wanted It
Well, by popular demand, my reviews are posted on Gamefaqs.com, under the name ShadowGuardian9. The most recent one is for WarioWare Smooth Moves for the Wii, and an older (much longer) one is up for one of my all-time top RPGs, Tales of Symphonia. Also, the link I put for my site has some older reviews, although they aren't as polished as the ones on Gamefaqs. Posting reviews here on theO would most likely be a tremendous headache, so to show the users and the founders some courtesy (and less scrolling) I just put the link.
Where AK's reviews are posted
The easiest one to access is my Twilight Princess review. *sniff* The game is just so amazing. :)

Being Critical
To all who don't know, I write game reviews along with the traditional poetry and stories. I hope to pursue a journalism career on something like Gamespot.com, or for a magazine like Nintendo Power. I'm practicing my reviewing skills, keeping the facts solid and the info right on. Despite being more of a fiction writer, I'm pretty proud as to what my reviews talk about. My website has a nice amount of my reviews, although the ones there are pretty dated. My site is a well-kept secret, though.
