Games!!!
Hope everyone is doing okay.
I'm keeping tabs on the Game Developers' Conference to see what big name games are appearing. Miyamoto-sama showed the Wii Fit Balance Board, which I'm not entirely thrilled with. I mean, are developers really going to take it seriously enough to make good games? Some may just pass it off. A cool snowboarding game or an update of a game like Time Crisis would be cool, but we need some serious developers like Capcom on board (no pun intended).
Other than that, there's Gears of War 2. I haven't finished the first, but I made progress today. I also checked out No More Heroes for the Wii, which is a beautiful and cleverly designed game. It's rated M for a reason; there's blood and a lot of it. But its combat is awesome; you can even go Super Saiyan!
Both Nintendo and Microsoft are opening their doors for independent developers to design games for their respective systems, something that's pretty interesting.
I'm getting the sudden urge to play DDR, maybe for my 360. I checked the song list, and it's pretty cool. I do have two PS2 DDR games and they're great fun.
