Senior Year is Already Scaring Me...

Yeah, I already know. *Looks at the date of last post* Sigh, what can I say? I'm lazy, plus, Mark tends to distract me a bit.

Ugh, whatever! >.< Anyway, along with the summer comes much free time for me, but also lots of stress because of the fact that this is now my Senior year. That means that the real world is already waiting for me.

*Sigh* How do the petals of the flower fall so quickly?

However, just as a side note to everyone, me graduating next year doesn't mean that I will be leaving the Otaku. I have gained way too many fans here to just leave!

Anyway, with this new school year also comes alot of new goals that I have set up for myself in order to make my departure from this age of life a good one. Those 2 goals mainly center around my current talents.

:Goal 1:

Because this will be my Senior year, as well as my last year in the state of Alabama, it will also be my last year to compete in the Piney Woods Art Festival. So I have set a goal. My goal is to come back with at least 3 Blue Ribbons this year. However, I'm gonna work my butt off so hard that I should deserve 6! I want my last art contest here in this state to be a good one.^^

:Goal 2:

This is the most important one of them all. My second goal is to fianlly get something published! You heard me right! Published! I want to get a One-Shot Manwha *Korean Manga* published this year! Why a Manwha? Well, I kinda have to. O.o I mean, considering that I AM half Korean... *LOL, I can already tell that most of you probably didn't know that, huh? ^^*

LOL, yeah, so that is pretty much the plan I have for myself. I hope you guys stick with me and cheer me on as I try to accomplish both goals. ^^

Catching Up
Yes, yes, I realize that I have not posted in a while, but you must know that my brain has a tendency to drift off into my own little world. It doesn't help that Mark tends to be the one to cause that to happen

Akane: OKAY! Now, it is time to update my site on Otaku! ^^

Mark: HEY! *grabs Akane away from computer and towards T.V.* That guy's head just exploded! XD

Akane: MARK! I don't care about-OOOH! O.O Look at the chunks of flesh attached to the windshield! So realistic! X3

Anyway, About two weekends ago, before I went off to MTAC, I was basically hanging out with my gal pal Jamie all night that Friday. Apparently, the forces of the universe heard my complaining that night, when she and I were on our way to Walmart to pick up some fabric.

Most of you know about my best friend Xero, and the fact that he lives farther away from me now because he has college and all. He does come into to town to visit almost every weekend, but he and I never get to see each other those times because another 'friend' of ours usually drags him off somewhere as soon as he gets here.

Well, I hadn't seen him in almost 2 months and I was complaining to Jaime a little bit about how much I wish I could see him again, though I know he is very busy with school and work. I missed my best friend! T.T

However, for some ODD reason beyond my comprehension, while Jamie and I were in the electronics section, I hear a very familiar voice and Jamie tells me to look behind me.

Guess who it was! XERO! XD He had appeared out of nowhere and I was all bouncy happy! X3

All three of us hung out together until 3:30 in the morning.

After we talked in Walmart for a bit, we headed towards a McDonalds just before it closed to get some food. Since it was about to close, and almost midnight, we didn't want to eat there and we were thinking of a place to go. Jamie suddenly had an idea that was just SO 'Jamie.'

Jamie: OH! I know where we can go to have a picnic! X3

Akane: Really? Where?

Jamie: *holds up hand* Don't ask questions! XD

Akane: Hmm? O.o?

Jamie: Trust me! You just get into Xero's car and the two of you follow me. You'll see what I mean! ^.^

Well, I got into Xero's car and we followed Jamie's to her 'favorite' spot, where she wanted us to have a picnic. Xero and I remained confused, until I caught sight of something just as we started to head down an old country road.

Akane: SWEET! We're eating at the cemetery!

Now, don't start thinking that we are disrespectful to the dead! Cause we are NOT! We didn't go INSIDE the cemetery, we ate on the steps that lead to it.

Besides, I'm positive that the spirits appreciated the respectful company. No one goes to visit it anymore. The last body to be buried there was in 1936. Yeah, so it had a lonely air to it at first.

We just sat on the steps and held little conversations. One was about how we wanted to be buried. (Well, we were eating at a CEMETERY by the way, I guess that answers why that conversation started.)

Xero went on a weird tangent about his open casket funeral, Jamie wasn't too sure about how she wanted her funeral to be like, and I said that I wanted to be cremated. Yes, cremated. However, I don't want my ashes to just be put into an urn and then buried, or have the ashes given to a relative. (I find that to be a bit creepy. O.o)

I actually want my ashes to be mixed in with planting soil on a certain spot and a rose bush, of an unknown color, to be planted in that soil. I want my spirit to, in a way, radiate from the rose bush.

(Yeah, I know. That's me trying to be original, but I honestly want to be buried like that.)

Anyway, after that we just went to Waffle House and fooled around a bit, playing with the little coffee creamers. XP Those two had coffee, I had chocolate milk.(What!? I HATE coffee! O.o)

Anyway, at the moment, I am at my friend Helen's house and will be spending the night here so I'm afraid that I won't be posting a new picture tomorrow morning, but I will on Sunday. ^^ Also tomorrow, Helen and I will be heading over to the Piney Woods Art Festival to check out the art there, as well as go to see the art work from the art classes of other schools who are all in contest in different catagories to win some ribbons and cash. It's 7:18 Monday morning and I am still at home, and that's only because I don't have to be in school until 11:15 all this week until Friday. We have graduation exams this week and I already took and passed mine last year, so I get to stay home and sleep in before I have to leave for school.

My friend Helen is going to be picking me up and we'll be going together since she also past her exams already as well. ^^

I didn't get home until midnight last night from my friend Jamie's house. I had a reason for being there for so long though, and that was she and I were working on our Gothic Lolita Neko costumes for MOMO-Con. We'll be leaving for the convention in Atlanta on the 17th (Friday) right after school.

Jamie and I are doing the little duo thing with the neko outfits and I already know we are gonna look SO cute! ^^

We're both going to have black ears and tails, but her ears have red in the center and her tail has a red tip. My ears have white in the center. Jamie's colors are going to be all red and black. Mine are white and black. (We even have matching black laced umbrellas. Her's red and black, mine white and black.)

I honestly can't wait until the 17th! I need another vacation away from Alabama REALLY badly.

ART THEIF!!!!!
DUDE I AM FUCKING PISSED AS HELL!!! SOME BLOODY FUCKER CHICK WENT AND STOLE ONE OF MY PICTURES AND TOOK CREDIT FOR IT HERSELF!!! Sayuri called me earlier and told me that some chick went and copied one of my pictures and I JUST saw it. They completely copied my Akane's Slight Makeover picture and the only thing they changed was that they turned my Anti-Emo patch into an Anti-Prep patch.

The girls name is DarkKitsune22 and she put the picture in the Yu Yu Hakusho gallery under the name Sasira. I'm in a bloody rage at the moment and it's too early in the day for me to be dealing with this! >.<

Aren't I A Dumbass!? Well,... I Kinda Don't Care...
I know for a fact that, if Xero ever reads the first part of this post, he will KILL me, but oh well...

Well, it turns out that I failed one of my classes this year and I'm gonna have to repeat it in my Senior year next year. Oh well, as long as it was only one and it was math related which may explain why. I suck terriably in anything with numbers. They make me cry. All my other classes? A in Interactive Multimedia Design. B in my English (Was lowered because of a printer accident that I refuse to go into right now... >.>), and an A in my History class. However, I'm not worried. First class ever failed before, but I'm not worried because I'll just take it again in my Senior year next year, if Xero lets me live long enough to SEE my Senior year.

Mah! Other than that crap, I started my new blocks on Wednesday when I went back to school. Studio Art 1, Human Anatomy, Psychology, and Mythology.

Studio Art for my first class makes the day seems much shorter and is just what I need in the early morning, a place to relax and do what I love. The Studio Art class is mixed in with the Introduction to Art class, so MY class (6 students) sit in the very back and Thompson just lets us do our own thing while he lectures the Intro class. He has gotten tougher on only one thing though, and that's that I have to hand in a new piece every week. I have no problem with that, I don't tend to complain too much about projects. He originally wanted two a week, but that would have been too much of an overload for us so it is just one.

Human Anatomy is pretty dull but easy as hell. Plus, my buddies Jamie and Kim are in it with me and we sit next to each other. SCORE! However, the lectures tend to be quite interesting though. ^^

Psychology is informative and almost seems like I'm in a therapy class. O.o Must be the teacher, but she is rather nice and pretty cool. She memorized my name in a day easily because I'm always carrying around my Inuyasha messanger bag.

Mythology is a great way to end the day, considering the 30 minutes of free time at the end of each class. Finished reading the tale Enuma from the Middle East myths and I got wired with images for new pictures. ^^ The class is more interactive and in depth on the details because we only use collage text books, not highschool.

*Sigh* Already have my Spring Break planned out. I'm going to MoMo-Con in March with my gal pals again just like we did at AWA-Con in September. I need another trip away from this hell hole and the anal hicks running my school.

We might be staying at Summer's aunt's house again like last time. Rayanna and I are going to be driving up in her truck since we're going to be bringing two cars. Last time the ride was rather crammed, but not too badly.(Look for a Youko Kurama if you go to MoMo-Con!)

Doot doot, anyway, my Christmas was pretty good. I GOT NOTHING PINK OR MAKE-UP RELATED FROM MY COUSINS FINALLY! They usually send my crap like that, but last summer, when I went to visit them in New York, I finally gave them a look into what I really like and who I am.

It worked! XD

They sent me new art pencils and a black t-shirt that said "Will Work For Anime" on the front. XD Got Angel Sanctuary Volume 10 and a bunch of Yu Yu Hakusho DVDs (unedited), Inuyasha the First Movie, and the first DVD of Inuyasha from my dad. He also got me a gift card from Sam Goody and renewed my Reply Card. (That's why I love my daddy, he knows me well! XD)

Grandma sent me a pink scarf and fluffy pink sweater. (Meh >.<; you know Grandma's...) However, she did send me a wolf throw blanket as well, and I got 100 dollars cash from my second oldest brother and his wife. (Funds for MoMo-Con! X3)

My friends gave me a black Inuyasha T-shirt, Kirara patch, New Art pens, Scented candles (Mmm! X3), Inuyasha Buttons, and Kurama cookies! XD Those were awesome! Woot!
