   Anyway...
Well, I got over 200 dollars in birthday money. However, being me, I never get to enjoy it.

I ALWAYS end up using it to buy Christmas gifts for my best friends. (Lucky me, I was born in the month before December) -.-

However, I'm going to be spending almost ALL of my money on Xero this year.
He's a senior this year and will be going straight off to college, after graduation. *sniff* I just KNOW I'm gonna cry when that day comes. He's my best friend.

We'll still keep in touch by internet, but it's not going to be the same. But, as long as I don't have to say good bye to him forever.

I would say he was like an older brother to me, but that would be lying. Because, he's MUCH more then that. I feel closer to him then I've ever felt towards any of my friends.

I love him alot and I hope we stay friends forever.

   Sweet Sixteen (Heh, yeah right...)
Well, today I finally turned sixteen and now I feel old! ^^
Oh well, still don't have a car but I'm not in too much of a rush to have my folks kick me out quicker. ^^

I ended up getting all my presents early this year, I recieved a PS2 and the game Chaos Legion from my brother. My dad bought me four manga of my choice.

Volumes 1 of Legal Drug, Diabolo, and Cross. As well as volume 3 of Angel Sanctuary.

Legal Drug is good, another brillant and beautifully drawn piece of work from the people of CLAMP. Cross is kinda confusing at first but also very good. Diabolo is CREEPY! Not so creepy that you'll spend the next few weeks sleeping with the lights on, or anything. It's just REALLY eerie, but and EXCELLENT story.

( I highly recommend Diabolo the most. )

   O.o'?!
Oooookaaaay...

Art class was VERY weird today. My friends and I were just laughing about random stuff. Then suddenly, the door swings open and a herd of teenagers dressed in REALLY WEIRD costumes came swarming in.

(One of them was wearing a pick octapus hat)

They were all led by this one really crazy short teacher too.

They were all carrying balloons and swarming into Mr. Thompson's (My art teacher) office, which is right next to our table, is filled with computers, and the walls are made of windows.

LOL

Turns out they were congratulating him for winning teacher of the month.

Oh, yeah. I also got to steal two of the balloons. I gave one to Xero outside after school, and we sucked up the helium and sounded like screwed up chipmunks. XD

   COSPLAY!

OMFG!

School was so awesome today!!!

Okay, this week is Spirit Week, a bit of a celebration for the last school football game of the season.
We basically do a whole bunch of stuff every day of that week, and today was 'Dress As Your Favorite TV Star Or Character Day!'

School was like one giant Anime/Comic book convention!!!

Almost ALL of my friends dressed up! It was so awesome! I was dressed up as Dark from DN Angel. ^^

Here's a list of all my buddies who dressed up, and who they dressed up as.

   ANGEL SANCTUARY!
(Angel Sanctuary is REALLY good. Filled with Fantasy, Blood, Angst, Forbidden Love, and all that cool stuff. It's one of the few Manga/Anime that I REALLY suggest other people to read!)

I finished reading the first 2 volumes of Angel Sanctuary, and now I have been Angel crazy all day! During all of my classes, all I could think about were Fallen Angels, Seraphims, Archangels, and all that good stuff.

Alot of GREAT manga seems to do that to me. Then again, I have always had a HUGE fasination about Angels and Demons. (Well ANYTHING that most people hear about in Fantasy)
However, you can call me weird if you want, but I TRULY believe in Demons, Angels, Faires, Spirits, Gods, Goddesses, and all that stuff.

BUT!

I DO NOT believe in Satan, but I do believe there is a place called Hell. I also do not believe in the Christian faith, but I DO NOT have a problem with anyone that does.

(I've have friends that are Buddist for crying out loud, as well as alot of Christian friends.)

But, I DO believe that their is a place called heaven. However, I strongly believe that the gates to this place are ALWAYS open. As long as you believe in that warm spiritual light, and are a kind hearted and selfless being. (That it doesn't matter what gender, sexuality(heterosexual/homosexual), or belief you have. Just as long as you believe in that spiritual light.)

::Okay we also had a discussion on personal beliefs during English, and the stuff above was basically what I said. I got alot of stares and a few rude comments, but I don't care. Those few people, in my eyes, are just too ignorant about someone having a different outlook on things then most people. *sigh* I REALLY dislike people like that! Mainly the ones who disown you, or stop being your friend, just because they find out that you have a different religon then they do or are homosexual. I LOATHE these people, and yet I'm forced to live with them everyday.:

But other then Heaven and Hell, I also believe in another place we might end up going to. "The Other Side", as I like to call it. It's here on earth, between Heaven and Hell, and consists of wandering souls. These souls either died without ever obtaining happiness during life, are still attached to something or someone to this world, seeking revenge, or do not understand the reason WHY they died.

I plan on talking about 'The Other Side' in the manga I'm working on.

Any who, this was just to get rid of some of the pent up emotions I had today. Now, I feel alittle better. ^^ Atleast I have the comfort of knowing that not ALL people are ignorant towards other peoples differences then most.

   Still Waiting
*Rises from the dead*

I'm back! Sorry for being gone for so long, but I don't have ANY new pictures scanned yet. I was too busy working on more new ones. I noticed that I didn't upload a new picture in a while, so I decided to do something else.

Time for a blast from the past!

I found one of my CD-Roms that had all of my SUPER old drawings on it. So I decided to share their old dustyness with my Otkau buddies.

Now, I DO have new pictures, but they won't be up until this Tuesday. You see, Xero moved to a different neighborhood and now I only get to see him at school. Xero's the one that does all the scanning for me but, now that he moved and isn't my neighbor anymore, I have to wait until I see him at school.

We were out for Fall Break this week, so I didn't get to see him at all. I still talked to him on the phone though.

I'll be seeing him on Monday; I can give him the pictures to be scanned then. However, I won't get the disc they're on until Tuesday.

But, until then, I'll be uploading my old drawings that I found insted. Just call it Akane's 'Blast From The Past'

   Weee!
Alright! I just got back from my brothers house this weekend! I went shopping with my sister-in-law and I got volumes 1-3 of Comic Party, and volume four of Fruits Basket! ^.^ Awesome stuff!

I also got a How To Draw Manga book on Female characters. We stopped by Micheals and I picked up some new pens and pen tips.

   I'M GONNA GO NUTS!!!
OMFG!!! First Hurricane Ivan hits,knocking out my power for 38 hours, but then my stupid computer went crappy on me!!! GRRRR!!! It keeps freezing up and it's SOOOOOO SLOW!!! *angry sigh*
Well, I FINALLY was able to upload a new picture.

Oh yeah, and also, Xero and I are working on a REALLY big story at the moment! It's not like our gag manga CHAOS though. It's more serious and it all started after I drew some random character in my notebook during school.

It's called 'Behind the Broken Mirror', it's kind of a spawn of my really old short story 'The Last Dream' but TEN times cooler!

Lost of blood and tortured youths! ^^ (but I'm not morbid or anthing!) *shifty eyes*
