Goodies From Amazon Japan and US. I was really excited to receive them but some family matters unexpectedly happened ... so I'm not really in the mood to be happy about anything.

I've proved that you can import yuri books in Singapore ... XD LOL, well I've proved to myself I can import ... probably you already knew it but heck, I'm happy.

LoL, I bought Mai Otome Volume DVD just cos Shizuru's on the cover =P, oh yeah forgot to wish Shizuru-sama, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, 2 days ago ... =A=, I'm 2 days late.

Oh well, hope everyone good health and a wonderful, peaceful weekend.

   [Game] Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke o Kuchibiru to Kisu de Tsubuyaite

LoL, the names just keeps getting longer.

Hmm, tried listening to the conversations at the beginning about our two main characters, Nanami and Yuuna having a raburabu pinic in their school backyard. Nanami's worried about being seen looking chummy with Yuuna and (random) Yuuna wondered if it's because of her groping that Nanami's breasts got bigger in size ahaha. It seems that Yuuna's as ero as ever lol. Hmm then they were having the cake Yuuna made (if I'm not wrong), resulting in the scene as shown below;



After that Nanami kept thinking about her Onee-sama and dreaming of Yuuna suggesting that they do ecchi stuff hahaha. *Rapid clicking* LoL, it's amusing to see Yuuna suddenly turn into this whiny and clingy Onee-sama once everyone's gone. Whoa, then they did it in the classroom on the desk ... *not surprising there* haha. After that, they went back to Yuuna's house and did it again =A= LOL.



(Selects 'Embrace Me' option.) Ah, it's good to be young.



*Rapid clicking* LoL, Nanami's off to dreamland again ... a date with Onee-sama~!



LoL, Nanami has quite a few of her own ecchi dreams of Yuuna, hahaa, looks who's the ero otome this time XD. Well there're many more ecchi scenes and I'm lazy to screenshoot all of them.

There's a bit of angst in the end, a little misunderstanding between Nanami and Yuuna, it's pretty cute lol XD. Not forgetting the make-up sex in the end LOL.



I've uploaded the CG set on MF, so yeah, enjoy it. The PNG files are not named according to the scenes order though, (I didn't make it o_o, don't blame me) XD.

Hmmm, some parts are nice, some parts I don't understand, some parts I'm not into it o_o so I can't comment much, lol as usual, I was merely rapidly clicking my way through the game to the end.

Well it's not friday but I feel like blogging my awesome days after returning back to Singapore lol.

26th November 2008
At Fortitude Valley aka Chinatown in Brisbane waiting to get on the airtrain to the International Airport;



At the Brisbane International Aiport;



Had a box of noodles at Noodle Box;



My Ride, Airbus 320, Qantas QF51;



On-flight Meal;



Touch down at Singapore, Changi Airport at around 7.40 PM;

First stop, dinner at Serangoon Gardens, Chomp Chomp Food Centre XD, Satay Beehoon and Prawn Mee!!!



Hokkien Mee!!!!



My favourite dishes, BBQ Sambal Stingray, Satay and Stir-fried Sambal Kangkong.



27th November 2008

Mum's birthday, went out to Outram Park, Health Promotion Board to collect my tickets I won to the World AIDS Day Concert at Fort Canning Park. After that, went to Choa Chu Kang, bought mangas at the Comics Connection at Lot 1 and then made a trip down to Woodlands' Causeway Point to purchase this lovely Tuffles Cake at Prima Deli before going home lol.



28th November 2008

Hmm, I went to Bishan Junction 8 with mum, uncle's girlfriend, maria and fish. It was fun, lol fish and I were at Popular Bookstore reading books and paid a visit to the Best Denki there for a while. Hmmm, ah went to the NTUC Fairprice there and bought some snacks and stuff ...

Upon returning home, I started opening my packages from Amazon XD;



Made these purchases on April and August 2008 and here they are, 'fresh' out from the boxes lol.

Girls High #1-9 [END], Family Complex #1 [END], S.S Astro #1, Voiceful #1, Venus Versus Virus #3-4, Tetragrammaton Labyrinth #3, Novel Strawberry Panic! #1-2, Kashimashi ~Girl meets Girl~ #4-5 [END], Kannazuki no Miko #1-2 [END], First Love Sisters aka Hatsukoi Shimai #1 and last but not least Manga Strawberry Panic! #1-2.

Kinda pissed that I got the 'Old' versions of Girls High and new version of #3 ... Oh well, that's what I get for buying cheap stuff lol. At least I have Momoka on #7's cover and SayakaxNao on #8's cover XD. Other than that, I'm very pleased with my purchases.



29th November 2008

Today is the day! YanZi's performing on the World AIDS Day Concert at Fort Canning Park~ Went early to 'queue' up but found out that only there YanZi Unlimited Fanclub people were queuing up and me lol! I wasn't even with them =A=, arrived there at around 2.30-45 PM, and they were just 1-2 hours earlier than me haha. Waited there for 4-5 hours and of course I spent those time fruitfully by reading manga LOL.

I'm happy that I went early cos we managed to see YanZi doing a rehearsal before walking out of the compound, resulting in this snapshot~;



YanZi never fails to amaze me with her awesome vocals and live performance and of course seductive looks casted at us LOL.



She sung a combi of 'Zhi Lai Zhi Wang + Shen Qi + Lu Guang' and then 'Ni Guang'~



YanZi's awesome smile and wave to fans~;



YanZi opening the Ending Group Song which brings us to the finale of the concert, awwww~ She even gave us a flying kiss at the end LOL XD \o/.

Did nothing but slack at home reading manga, playing with my parrots, eating and stickam-ing with TS mates lol.

1st December 2008

Hmmmm, same as what I did on Sunday lol, oh went to the studyroom with the air-con on and watched Mendoru ~Ikemen Idol~ Ep7 XD.

Oh yes, Tranquil Spring has picked up Mendol (Mendoru / ﾋｧﾄﾐﾅｼﾏ) ~Ikemen Idol~ as our maiden softsub project. It wasn't until Episode 4 or 5 was aired before I started translating the scripts, it was a totally fun experience, very different from translating manga. I really admire those Mandarin subbers who can translate merely by listening to the conversations [Sometimes when the actors don't pronounce the words properly, it's hard to grasp the meaning].

We have released the softsub of Episode 1 and Episode 2 already, check it out at TS site or D-addicts Forums. As for Episode 3, it is still in the PR-QC stage, we're trying our very best to catch up with at least just 2-3 episodes behind, as there are currently 8 aired episodes with Episode 9 coming up this week. I would like to take this chance to thank Amaya, Chiri, Hayashi, Hayate, Jo and Kai who are with me in Project M. Thank you all for triggering my 'fighting spirit' with your enthusiasm in Skype XD.

Subbing is not an easy job, especially when you have to double check the translated meanings over and over again so that we release the most accurate and quality enjoyment to fans of the series out there. You know, I just dislike subbers who vaguely translate the lines, yes, it might be smooth reading but it just destroys the beauty and meaning of the Japanese Language. Not like I'm profound in Japanese or what but have you ever wondered about the few words subtitle and yet the actor kept rambling a while on leaving you feeling like you're missing out some meanings? Well, that's how I feel so nothing beats learning the language and making the translations yourself XD.

Anyways, that's the end of my random rants, hope you enjoy it or something lol.

Well, that was unexpected, the last OVA had only Chapter 10 of the manga and ... some hints of Chapter 12 and 13 ... blah, anime Momoko lacks that 'punch'! LOL Should had used a fire extinguisher like manga Momoko lol. Ah but the Kirin lecturing Momoko scene's pretty good XD.

Awww, I like this original scene, Momoko finally remembered meeting Shinobu when she was young and that they played Hide and Seek in this particular playground. True enough, Shinobu's hiding in the same place as she did when she was young and the flashback of Momoko hugging Shinobu under that ... uh I have no idea what is it but lol it's sweet.

And next, love scene in Love Hotel lol ... in the bathtub ... hm kinda nice I guess. Lacks the playfullness as seen in the manga ... more tender here and 'I LOVE YOU' kinda with the constant hands grasping together.



I'm glad they inserted a flashback of Momoko's heartfelt words and putting the ring on Shinobu's ring finger scene =). Ahhh, lol @ the kiss with Maya ... well kinda bittersweet ... of Maya's unrequited feelings I guess ... o_o.

And it's the end, I kinda like the soundtrack ... 'lalala' lol, it's soothing I guess. Well hope you enjoyed it ... wasn't the best but ain't the worst ... the girl gets the girl ... lol.

   Hyakko Ep6

Hyakko Episode 6 - Chapter 10 and Evangelion parody for the last what 5 mins? It's quite amusing to watch actually lol, to put Torako's ... *spoilers* lol nah, you'll know it in the next episode [maybe] well the guy who's the fox in the chart as the baddie. He kinda reminds me of Gin from Bleach with those slanted fox-like eyes lol.

Literally, Nene said, 'It's my hobby/interest.' but the 4chan in me made me type out that line.

Well, this chapter is all about Tatsuki, her raging over Torako (once again lol) and her housekeeper Toshiko-san. Hm a little about her familt background and of course her childhood albums.




LoL @ the TrickstAr *reminded of Mizuki Nana's Trickster* XD. It's really funny to see Suzume going star-eyed over Tatsuki's ehem ehem, 'Adult Underwear' lol XD. Well, I'm not really fond of Tatsuki ... but it's a heartwarming episode I guess ... =].



What's Hyakko without some yuri undertones?

Ah, sorry, I got busy with studying last week ... >_> *looks away* But-but, I'm really free now lol, man, suddenly, I'm filled with some sense of emptiness after all the exams and I can't help but feel ...

HA!!!!!!!! YEAH RIGHT LOL.

*WOOTS* I'm so excited, I'm really going home soon!!! I can't wait to go home, see my family, my parrots, my mangas and ... and buy more mangas!!!! XD. I miss the feeling of going to CC and Kinokuniya to snook around for mangas in corners ... sigh. Nothing beats brick and mortar shopping ... well online shopping maybe =P.

Alrighty, enough of my rants;

Hyakko Episode 5 - Combi of Chapter 7 and Chapter 5.

'Oh, My Angel.'

I'll be straight, I practically zoned out at the first what ... 3 minutes? LoL, wasn't really interested in what Yanagi's saying ... On the other hand, Shishimaru's soo cute and funny lol, he reminds me of Hosaka from Minami-ke LOL. On top on that, he used Ayumi to confess to Torako lol, what a klutz. LOL @ him nose bleeding at the photo of the alluring Torako XD.





Oh well, I really preferred Chapter 5 XD, I just love Torako x Ushio moments lol. Ohh Ushio's seiyuu is Kaido Yuuko (Also Seiyuu for Ootori Amane in Strawberry Panic!), no wonder the voice sounded familiar ... lol Kinda weird to imagine Amane going yankee-like with a sneer, 'Whacha looking at HUH?!' XD.

As mentioned, lol I have no idea how many times I've repeated the karaoke scene ... ahh, it's just so funny haha XD. Which reminds me, Koh-san mentioned in the previous blog post comment about the song 'Twelve Beast Gods' being an elaborate Japanese/English pun on the twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac.

Maybe this chart will be clearer? I got it from the Hyakko Volume 3 Chinese scans, yeah and the size is originally that small, I don't have a bigger picture of it.

I thought to myself that seiyuu of Torako has a nice singing voice, despite her trying to go out of tune by screaming LOL especially at the 'Žé‚É�õ‚Ü‚é ‚Ù‚Ù~~' *SMACK* lol. Ah, Torako's seiyuu, Orikasa Fumiko sung 'Rinne no Hate Ni...', the ED of Shingetsutan Tsukihime anime ... ohh nice.

XD, I love Ushio's moed expression and Torako's 'I know your secret now' expression haha XD. Ah, I just watched Ep6 too ... hm, I'll talk about it next time =], off to work on my secret project heh.

LoL, I can't help it ... but who cares, HELL YEAHZ!

-Flashback when Kanade and Yukino were still studying in Middle School in Hokkaido.- Kanade and Yukino were pulling Shizuku who was in roller blades home. It was hinted that Kanade had lost in a game as she said that she's a pauper and has to listen to whatever the rich tycoon Shii-chan says. Yukino commented that she knew Kanade will lose and that she don't have to make such a senseless bet. Kanade was like huh!? Was the result foreordained?! Or ... the both of them were together in this!? Yukino was like, of course not, ne, Shii-chan? Un! XD. Kanade told Shii-chan not to wear the skates to school, Shii-chan replied that Kanade and Yukino both wore it to school to and the teacher never said anything. Yukino was like, mou, Kana-chan~ and seemed to blame it on Kanade lol. Kanade was like you meanie, it was your idea! But Yukino wasn't listening, pointing at a deer with a doe lol.



Shii-chan later commented that Kanade's physically weak [Because she called for them to stop for a while of pulling]. Kanade told Shii-chan not to underestimate the strength of a member of the cultural club. Shii-chan was like 'What are you talking about? Kana-neechan has no talent in being an airhead [LOL], you should leave that role to Yuki-neechan.' Shii-chan added, 'Yuki-neechan's a natural airhead, so daijyobu, daijyobu~' [It makes no sense at all LOL, is that a blonde joke!?]. Kanade replied that Shii-chan will understand when she's in Middle School. Shii-chan got a little upset saying that she doesn't want to go Middle School. Despite her sisters asking why and saying that Middle School's fun, Shii-chan avoided the question and took a photo of them with Kanade's digital camera.



After that outburst in Episode 3, both Kanade and Yukino were blaming themselves for not being good sisters to Shii-chan [LOL The background music reminds me of the bgm from X-Files or something]. Meanwhile, Shii-chan sulking in her room, viewing the pictures in her handphone and mumbling, 'Baka' after looking at the solo portrait of her Kanade drew. The next day, Sakuya was planning to sneak in the room of Kanade and Yukino to cheer Kanade up with a morning kiss~ LOL. Even Sakuya could feel the tension between Kanade and Shii-chan the night before and tried to lighten things up by offering herself [with a ribbon] to Kanade LOL. But that idea was shot down by Yukino who once again tied Sakuya up with futon and left her sleeping in the guestroom LOL.

As Sakuya's about to open the door, Kanade opened the door from inside, slamming the door against Sakuya's face LOL. That morning, after breakfast, Kanade asked Shii-chan if she wants to go out shopping her with. Shii-chan replied that its cold, so no. Sakuya was like 'HAI! HAI! Senpai! Senpai! I want to go! ME!' While Kanade and Sakuya were having their conversation. Shii-chan flashed back to when Kanade mentioned about going to Tokyo to study, of course Yukino wanted to go with Kanade too and finally 'Goodbye, Shii-chan.' Shii-chan suddenly got up and ran to her room, leaving the rest worried. As Kanade and Sakuya were about to leave, Kanade requested Yukino to take care of Shii-chan. Sakuya was like, woots, a date with senpai~! XD.



Yukino had a one-to-one conversation with Shii-chan after Kanade and Sakuya left. Yukino told Shii-chan that both Kanade and her like Shii-chan very much. Shii-chan admitted that she wants to be with Kana-neechan and Yuki-neechan forever, just the three of them. When Kanade said she's going to Tokyo to study, Shii-chan knew Yukino will follow her along too and that she knew that her sisters like each other very much. Shii-chan continued that she's happy for them when she heard that the relationship between her sisters were progressing well [Yukino was like *blush* =O, is there something there?] and that she must not come in between them [being the third wheel or something]. But Shii-chan can't help but become emo and act like a spoilt brat around them lol.

Yukino told Shii-chan that not long before Shii-chan's birthday, Kanade was swamped with assignments and stuff but was still determined to do a portrait for Shii-chan to show her their life in Tokyo. Yukino added that Kanade pulled all nighters to finish both her assignments and the present for Shii-chan and that had requested Yukino to make up reasons for being late. Yukino revealed that Kanade had not forgotten about her birthday at all and that 'thinking too much' trait of Shii-chan's the same as Kanade XD. So even they're apart, Kanade and Yukino always be thinking of Shii-chan. Apparently, Shii-chan didn't buy that crap lol and said that Yuki-neechan's lying to her isn't it? Yukino was like ehhh, wow, this thing looks great LOL.



That night, Kanade asked Shii-chan if she would like to take a bath together with her since it's been a while and all ... Shii-chan replied that she will take a bath herself and bluntly pointed out that that character of Kanade is disgusting. Sakuya was like, 'HAI! HAI! ME ME, I WANT TO GO! ME ME!' but of course Kanade ignored her [LOL]. Kanade was like crestfallen, 'Disgusting huh ... I'm being disliked by Shii-chan ...' [Awww~]. After Kanade left, Shii-chan asked Sakuya why Kanade, not Yukino since they're twins and Yukino who apparently, in her own opinion, kinder lol. As Sakuya's about to give Shii-chan a piece of her mind, Shii-chan took out a photo of Kanade and Yukino in Middle School which Sakuya grabbed and spilt out the beans LOL. Sakuya said that it was not long before summer vacation on a outing with her senpais [Both Kanade and Yukino were there] and when she told Kanade that her birthday's on August [Which is the summer vacation] and that she never got to celebrate it with her friends.



Kanade replied and told Sakuya to see it from another viewpoint and say 'Happy Birthday' to her parents instead. And 'Bam!' that was it lol. Later, Sakuya really did followed Kanade's advice and that made Sakuya's parents very happy. Sakuya later thought that it will be nice if she had someone who could say something like that by her side. Sakuya added that she never thought of comparing them just because they're twins, she does like Yukino-senpai but she just likes Kanade-senpai more. Shii-chan seem troubled after listening to Sakuya's words. That night, Yukino probably told Kanade everything about that afternoon and that Shii-chan understands it but feelings is another story. Just then, there was a knock on the door, *gasp* Shii-chan! [LOL] Who asked if she can sleep over once in a while? Kanade and Yukino smiled and said come on in =).

In bed, Kanade was like, 'Why are the both of you snuggling against me?', Shii-chan replied that that's because Kanade's the warmest~~~ Yukino went, 'See, I told you so! You must let Kanade in the futon first to warm in up before ...' -Insert Kanade Pinch!- LOL. That smack on Yukino's hand was unexpected LOL, I thought she broke a bone or something, man! After that, Shii-chan started sobbing and crying. Shii-chan then apologized and mumbled about being like this forever is fine. Kanade suddenly pinched Shii-chan's cheek and Shii-chan immediately stopped crying lol.



Kanade: 'Shii-chan is our sister. You don't have to control/deny yourself, be clear of what you want and it's okay to be wilful. It's not like our opinions/feelings of Shii-chan will change after that.'
Yukino: 'Even though we can't do anything about being apart but if it's anything else we can do, we will do it.'
Shizuku: 'Un, I want to listen more of nee-chan's voices.'
Kanade: 'Un, well then I'll call you every weekend. If I forget about it, Yuki-chan will call you. Surely.'
Yukino: 'Kana-chan, well that's kinda ...'
Kanade: 'Ahh, yes yes, I'll definitely definitely call.'
Shizuku: 'And ... the portrait Kana-neechan drew of me, I don't want to be alone, draw nee-chans in it too.'
Kanade: 'Un, well, Shii-chan, you must properly go to school too. High School, University and then we will be together.'
Shizuku: 'Kana-neechan ...'
Yukino: 'Un, that's because Shii-chan's our precious, precious sister after all.'
Shizuku: 'Yuki-neechan ...'
Shizuku: 'Un, even though it's both cold and troublesome but I will try my best.'
Kanade: 'Ehh? Why are you using that no good tone of voice? Also, don't tell me that it's really that cold?'
Yukino: 'It's okay, Kana-chan.'
-Wasn't Listening-
Kanade: 'Ne ne, Shii-chan? Shii-chan? Listen to me, Shii-chan?'
Yukino: 'Daijyobu yo, Ne? Ehh.'



Sigh and phew I'm glad they have sorted out their differences in this episode, I don't really like the whiny and crying Shii-chan TAT ... I assume the next few [3 to be exact =A=] episodes will be more fluff of Kanade and Yukino in the new dorm? I really like Shii-chan, she's kinda the tsundere type ... lol XD, or on her way there heh.

Three papers down, with one more to go. *slacks this weekend away* Ah, I'll do Hyakko Ep5 tomorrow, LOL the scene of Torako and Ushio's so damn funny ... especially the karaoke scene ... man, talk about badddddd engrish. TWELVE BEAST GODS! OZMG! LOL. Somehow I feel that they're english subtitling some Bollywood song or something LOL. *Reminded of Girly Man on Youtube* ... If you don't know what's that, just search for 'girly man' in youtube and you'll understand what I mean XD.
