MICHI: “how many hours has it been already?”
ELIE: “yeah!!! It feels like we’ve been running for days!!!”
MARICA: “stop yapping and keep running!!! Yo!!! Aya, are we there yet?”
AYA: “sorry, I still can’t see you from the exit and I don’t think you’d even like to see this!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!”
MARICA: “come on!!! Something happened to Aya!!! Hurry up!!!”
Then, they finally reached the exit.
MARICA: “we heard you scream!!! What happened?”
AYA: “yuck!!! Gross!!! Oh… Marica, I didn’t notice you!!! Sorry, to worry you. It was only a bug!!!”
ELIE: “a bug? We ran all the way… for just a stupid bug!!!”
MICHI: “yeah!!! We almost fainted!!! Ouch… I legs feel like it’s gonna collapse.”
MARICA: “Aya, don’t tell me your afraid of bugs!!!”
AYA: “afraid? Who said anything about being afraid? I… was… just…. Grossed out, yeah I was just grossed out!!!”
MICHI: “yeah right!!!”
AYA: “cut that out!!! Now, there’s a boat over there, maybe it’d be best to just use it but judging from the waters color I think we shouldn’t.”
MICHI: “damn right you are, in this water? No way, I’d rather die on land than on water.”
ELIE: “it looks like it’s the only way we’ll be able to find the china fur in this dark forest.”
MARICA: “come on!!! Don’t chicken out on me!!!”
And so, they loaded the boat and Marica started to paddle. They paddled for a few minutes, passing by a lot of signs, written in languages they don’t understand. Then finally, they saw a sigh in Japanese symbols. It read…
ELIE: “it says ‘beware of monsters!!!’”
MARICA: “Aya, hold this for me!!! I’m gonna have a look at that sign.”
Marica handed Aya the paddles. Aya paddled till they were so close to the said sign. Suddenly, a foggy mist appeared behind Aya. Then, a huge snake-like figure revealed itself in the mist. Michi finally laid her eyes on its figure. She froze herself to her seat as she saw its glowing eyes.
MICHI: “umm… g…gg…guys. We… have… company!!!”
ELIE: “what’s the matter now?”
MARICA: “you know we’re busy right now.”
AYA: “hey, are you alright? You’re as white as a ghost.”
Marica and Elie both caught there eyes on the sea creature.
Aya saw this and tried to ask them ‘what’s the matter?’ after that, they just pointed their quivering finger on the creature. Aya looked behind her and she too caught a glimpse of the creature. All of a sudden, the creature SHRIEKED!!! Aya paddled so quickly, it was as if she was running for her life, and she was. The boat stopped when it hit dry land.
ELIE: “that was the worst thing I ever seen. Man, I still can’t stop the shivers up my spine.”
AYA: “that was so not a good moment to be spooked. Everyone knows I hate it when I get surprised by such gruesome things.”
MARICA: “my heart felt like it was gonna drop to my stomach and still it won’t stop beating rock n’ roll!!!”
MICHI: “I… need… help here!!! Hello!!! I’m… frightened to my position here. Can’t move!!!
Everyone was definitely terrified. Now that they came to their senses, they saw the ruins surrounding them. They wondered what type of race or bloodline lived here before.
ELIE: “hey, I think that path leads to the china fur!!!”
Thus, they hurried through the path around the watery lake to a cabin, which should be where the navigators live.
When Elie was about to twist the door knob, an unknown creature came ramming out. Elie and Marica dodged to the right, while Aya and Michi dodged to the left.
ELIE: “what was that?”
Marica looked in the cabin and saw a man screaming.
MAN: “that beast, it took my wife!!!”
AYA: “Elie and I’ll take care of it!!!”
MARICA: “we’ll stay here and cure his injuries!!!”
Aya and Elie hurried out to catch up with the creature. They spotted it running for the woods.
AYA: “Elie, you take care of the woman. I’ll deal with the beast!!!”
BEAST: “I don’t think so!!!”
ELIE & AYA: “it can talk!!!”
AYA: “but… but…. Ahhhhh!!! Never mind!!!
Aya jumped on a tree branch with all of her might, which made her fall right over the creature’s head.
ELIE: “I’ve got her!!! I’m going back to the cabin!!!”
AYA: “you go ahead; I’ve got some unfinished business!!!”
