i don't have any idea on what to post today... so i thought and decided to post the first chapter of my new fic. i don't have an idea for the story title, so i named it cursed lips. but feel free to name it. please?! ;_; CYA!!!
Cursed lips
Episode#1: Intro
In a limousine, 5 girls rode simply waiting for their arrival at phoenix junior high.
The owner of the limo, 15 year-old freshmen, Aya is looking out the window with half-lid eyes. This girl has chin-length bangs, long straight black hair with curves at the tips and deep bright violet eyes, a height of 5’2 and a weight of 100 lbs. She’s rich, talkative, out-going, hyper, serious, competitive, simple, irritating, numb and kind girl. In spite of her personality, people in school know her as the ‘freak’ and tend to avoid any relation with her anywhere and anytime and so they never knew her real personality and abilities. But luckily, 7 girls stood by her side…
A girl in the limo as well, arguing with another girl about the TV at the center of the limo, is Anni. She has waist-length black hair and royal blue eyes, with the height of 5’½ a weight of 90 lbs. She is one of Aya’s only friends and she lives just near Aya’s house, just about 10 blocks away. She’s adventurous, hyper, funny, serious, bad-tempered, violent, and at times just plain normal. She usually defends Aya from back-stabbers, bullies and others that do her wrong. She knows about Aya’s ‘bad’ side and the first to witness it.
Another girl, who Anni is arguing with, is Karina. She has shoulder-length dark brown hair and dark, red eyes with a height of 5’2 and a weight of 110 lbs. She lives right next to Anni and she’s smart, funny, cute, lovable, and very cheerful. She cheers Aya up when people step on her and Karina seems to be some sort of key to pull her from her ‘bad’ side. Karina starts all conversations when silence is all they can hear and everything she says always tends to make even the numbest person laugh for even just a while. She and Anni have always been super close friends and they even tend to call each other sisters.
Janelle, the silent person, minding her own business watching her two friends arguing, she’s funny, interesting, silent, giving, friendly and very open. She’s usually the person Aya talks to and they tend to stay by each other at break times but when it comes to partnering for school activities, she’s always partnered with shaira. She’s Aya’s bestest friend, cause she always stays by her side and never make rumors or care whatever people say ‘bout her being friends with Aya. They both have the same likes and dislikes.
Last but not the least, shaira, who is currently pissed off by her friends’ good-for-nothing argument and she often discipline them like a big sister for she’s too mature for her age. She’s talkative, open, cute, social, friendly, cheerful, smart, and rich as well. She likes riding with her friends because in the limo she won’t hear different rackets aside from Anni’s arguments. She’s very close to Janelle because ever since kinder, they’ve already been friends. Shaira doesn’t entirely like all of Aya for Aya. She talks about Aya with her other friends, AJ, Hannah and Angelene.
Aya still has 3 more friends but they never ride with her because they live just a few blocks from phoenix junior high.
30 minutes before classes start, the limo stopped in front of the school’s main gate and dropped Aya and her friends off. They happily chattered along the way to their respective lockers. Aya’s locker number is 103. Anni and shaira’s lockers are 323 and 192, Janelle and Karina’s are 282 and 92, everyone’s lockers are far away from each other and so they had to go separate ways.
Ring…ring…ring…
As the high school bell rang, everyone commenced to their respective classrooms. All high school levels have 5 sections. Aya’s classroom is 1-C along with all her other friends.
In class, their advisor is running a little late and so they sat silent on each others seats, but faint whispering was definitely heard.
Beside Aya are anjelica, angelene and Hannah, who is at her back. They are friends of her as well.
Anjelica, who’s at Aya’s right, is rich, kind, giving, active, smart, friendly, lovable, cheerful, annoying, boyish and humorous. She has straight shiny red hair and beautiful brown eyes. Angelene is her first best friend, but it never last. She’s a very influential person and so people never stay mad at her, they always are her friends. Once she heard of the rumor about Aya, she thought change of eye color was so fascinating and so that’s how she met Aya. She’s also known as AJ. But she also thinks that being friends with Aya is embarrassing and seldom socializes with Aya.
Angelene, who sits at Aya’s left, is kind, cheerful, amusing, simple, honest, friendly, boyish, curious, and exciting. She’s an old friend of anjelica and she loves technology and all that stuff. She usually fights with AJ. She has light blue hair and dark blue eyes. She purposely died her hair light blue to match her dark blue eyes.
It was their first day in school and 1st year section C’s first subject is science. Mr. tailor, their professor, wants all the students to find a lab partner for the whole school year. He doesn’t like the idea of changing partners every quarter.
“Once you’ve chosen your partner, write your names in a ¼ sheet of paper and pass it to me. If anyone has a problem with their partner or a problem choosing one, report to me.” Announced the professor.
Anjelica partnered with Hannah, Annie with Karina, Shaira with Janelle, and Angelene with Alexandra, who is Angelene’s new best friend. Aya was left with no partner but that’s impossible because class 1-C has exactly 50 students and so there should be 25 pairs. No one wanted to be Aya’s partner because they all know about her ‘bad’ side and they already heard nasty rumors about her.
“I’M HIS PARTNER!!!”
“NO, I AM!!!”
“NO!!!”
“TOUGH LUCK, HE’S MINE!!!”
“HE CHOSE ME!!!”
“NO, HE DIDN’T!!!”
“I SAW HIM FIRST!!!”
“NO, I DID!!!”
“BACK OFF, SISTER!!!”
“WANNA FIGHT, BITCH?”
The shouting caught everyone’s attention. 20 ladies are arguing over who’ll be Len’s partner. Len Reagan is a very popular heartthrob in their whole school and he has an older brother, Ken Reagan, as handsome and as talented as he in the 4th year level in the same school. Len is rich, handsome, smart, sarcastic, funny, brave, simple, a great fighter, very strong, and he’s the MVP in almost every sport. He has dark violet hair and bright golden orbs.
Their professor tried to break them up.
“Maybe, we should let Len choose.” Interrupted the professor.
All eyes lay upon Len and he said…
“I really don’t care who.” Coldly.
“Well then, if so, I’ll choose for you. All those with no partner raise your hand!!!” Decided their professor.
All ladies crowded the professor asking for Len's partnership. Aya, who’s plainly sitting on her seat, raised her hand low as if it was nothing to her. Unexpected, the professor saw her and seeing that she doesn’t care…
“I’ve decided!!! Len will be partnered with…” he announced as all eyes stared at him and prepared himself for the ultimate torture.
“Aya!!!”
Aya swiftly faced her professor, unrelieved of what he just said.
“WHY?”
“DON’T YOU KNOW WHAT SHE MIGHT DO TO HIM?”
“SHE’LL KILL HIM!!!”
“TAKE THAT BACK, MR. TAILOR!!!”
Mr. Tailor rubbed his temples in irritation of all his class’ whining.
Aya really didn’t care about popularity, heartthrobs and gossip. Len doesn’t like fans running after him and wanting to hold him now and then. So, they worked together and never cared of their differences.
Len's fans got partnered with each other.
For weeks, their teamwork improved their grades in Science. The other subject teachers noticed this improvement and decided to partner them the same with their lab partners for the whole school year as well.
Anjelica, Angelene, Hannah, Annie, Shaira, and Janelle agreed with their teachers. They thought that having the same partner in all subjects for the whole school year was a great idea.
