I'm not quite the most cheery of souls at time being, so to speak. I found out yesterday that one of my new favourite teachers had died on friday of a heart attack, and now the whole school is mourning his sudden death. I'm ashamed to say that, though I am greatly saddened by this event, I'm also numb. I've reached a creative roadblock that forbids me writing, saying, or drawing anything worthwhile, and so I write today in apology for my negligence, and to atone for it by posting a new work or two. Adeiu for now.

Temari wo tsukimashou manmaru nani?
Hello once more my friends, and I apologize most sincerely for not updating in a while. It's quite difficult to be a student, an artist, and a violinist while maintaining your sanity. Besides, I'm fairly certain that no one truly cares to read what is in these entries of mine, but I still hope to catch someone's interest. All the same, I've added a number of manga volumes to my collection, the most recent of which being "Petshop of Horrors" and let me tell you it is an excellent horror series, full of magic and macabre, as well as one very beautiful boy. It has almost a sort of Vampire Princess Miyu feel to it, though I'm not quite clear on why.
I now entertain extreme frusteration with Barnes and Noble, the reasons being such: they appear to be consistently out of stock with the many series that happen to be my favourites, whenever I want to buy a new series they manage to have only the third or fourth volumes in the series (particularly Sorcerer Hunters I notice), and they are draining my pitiful wallet every time I traipse down to the store to feed my manga addiction and collection.
Cruelty to otakus, I tell you. Particularly where I live where being one is a sort of closet thing, so to speak. But I'm happy with the newest addition to my collection, and I hope to make a substantially larger amount of money over the weekend with which to accumulate the second volume, as well as more books.
And, lest I forget, I would like to administer a response to fellow otaku Animertist ( I hope you get this); I am under the impression that Bigfoot and Sasquatch are essentially the same creature, but I still like the name Sasquatch better. As for the Aeris costume? I made it myself with my meager skills as a seamstress. I'll be cosplaying again for halloween this year, but probably as Mana. Additionally, I know only of one store that makes Anime or manga related costumes, but I believe it is only present in Bellevue, Washington.

Well... hello again after a while. Nothing terribly of interest to say, other than I got another Mods choice on Elfwood. A sort of double edged sword however. It's nice when people see your work, but it's irritating as hell when morons with no balls make stupid comments under anonymous, and criticize you unconstructively, and often crudely. It all comes down to simple common courtesy, but oh, I forget, that seems to be lost among the people of today who feel liberated by the anonimity of the internet and a screenname. One such courtesy is, If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all, or rather don't fucking waste my time with flames on my work. It's called creativity for a reason, people. I'm sorry if you don't like my work, but I'm not about to change everything I do, or bend over backwards to please one schmuck who thinks " BISHOUNEN SUXORSZ I RULE JOO HAR HAR HAR". I do what I do because it make me happy, and whoever thinks my happiness is unworthwile can go and fuck themselves, or better yet, die. I'm sick and tired of people asking me why, but not even bothering to listen to my explanations. I write intros and cautionary explanations, but they are still ignored, and it irritates me to no end. I often wonder why I even try to have even a minute speck in people. The only thing I can truly depend on is stupidity, which will endure, undoubtedly, until the end of time. I finished my peach girl flame for my friend and she will post it on her site at geocities. I've done a great deal more artwork, but none that I really feel like posting because I'm tired, at least momentarily, of explaining my self to others. Here's hoping the angst will fade and my faith in humanity will be restored!

Peanut Butter Samayoeru Aori Dangan Time!


What Anime Vampire Are You?

Hello Again. Well, My first week of high school as a Junior has come to a close. Though I'm not particularly pleased with my schedule or the high concentration of morons in each and every class, I can do little more than keep my mouth shut, blare my earphones, and stay as nonchalant as possible to keep any sort of unwanted attention from coming my way. There are two new, fine examples of bishounen walking about the school this year.
The first bishie boy in question is asian, but relatively tall and quite thin. To put it simply, he's beautiful, and girly enough to strike my interest. He's like a living incarnation of Kuja from Final fantasy IX. The most noticeable Kuja-esque oddity about him is his long, straight white hair that trails past his shoulders and hangs in his face. The second interesting quality about him is his style and movement. Those who have seen POTC (Pirates of the Carribbean) Will remember Captain Jack Sparrow and his slouch-swagger. This is the same sort of body language, albeit less exaggerated, that this boy has. On a daily basis, he dresses in a black suit which is realatively formal in nature. And finally, those who know FF9 or FF7 will understand what I mean when he does the Kuja/ Rufus hair flip.
The second boy is a tall and dangerous looking goth who prowls around the school in makeup and chains. His appearance strikes me as vampiric, and I'm very attracted to vampires, admittedly. The most fascinating aspect of him is the corset like adornment he wears about his waist.
So I suppose it will strike you now that I have fairly freaky tastes in men. I would have no qualms being in a relationship with a man more feminine than myself, (not that this is terribly hard to achieve) and I definately prefer the eccentric boys. This places me in the position of being teased quite a bit, particularly with Tracy. It's our joke now that I'm going to stalk the "Kuja-man" (the white haired asian), and force him to dance in a purple thong.
On an added note, I'm in the process of writing a flame about the "Peach Girl Series" for a friend, and fellow otaku member Rachel Davis. She read the fourth installment of the "Change of Heart" series, and was so disgusted by it that she asked me to write a flame on it...... but it turns out that I chose this opportunity to flame the whole damn series. Don't get me wrong, this manga, as well as pretty much every series of manga or anime out there, has a place in my heart, but I was quietly frusterated with many aspects of the series and decided to explode in a literary fashion. Not a terrible lot to say... but I'm also working on my second ever CG work of art.

Well, I posted tickets in the que on elfwood for my lothlorien and Zone sites to be updated. School starts tomorrow for me. Lovely, I get to be a part of the crackhead junior class of 2005. I should have listened to rachel and done running start, but noooooo. Well anyway, the only notable accomplishment you should know about is that I finished my first CG colored pic and i'm pleased with it although it resembles feces molded in the shape of a brush and splattered randomly against a sheet of butcher paper. The Door opens.
And I make my triumphant return! Waha! Well, anyway, I'm feeling quite a bit better than before, and inspired.

fAlive, but It sure as hell does not feel like it.
I'm alive and posting, folks, after I don't know how many days. But here I am, at least momentarily with a quick, yet perhaps fairly uninteresting update about my life. After spending a few nights at a friend's house, as well as pulling all nighters drawing, it comes as no suprise that I feel relatively ill. I was taking a shower and, out of absolutely nowhere, a wave of sickness slammed me and I vomited up everything I had eaten that day. Lovely, eh?
(But it was a reasonably good place where I could get sick like that.)
But anyway, I've also noticed a series of rapid changes in my style of art. I'll put it this way, for a time I was something relatively on the cuter side of art, but now it seems my drawings are a little more "Angel Sanctuary-esque". Not that this is a bad thing, of course. I just seemed to have grown a great amount in a short time. I'm doing almost all of my pictures now in black and white, using copics and a variety of pens, and my detail is better than it used to be.
On another note, My elfwood gallery has been updated and I now have a SciFi gallery there too, as if it matters to anyone here.
But I'm getting off of the computer after I finish my updates because I'm fucking tired and I just want to listen to music, draw, and seethe in my aggravated state. I will chew the head off of the next person who dares to ask me why I draw gay looking men. Why? Because I can, and you can all piss off if you don't like it.
I apologize for my irritation, but feeling like you've been repeatedly kicked in the stomach with a steel toed boot will do that to you.

Watashi wa tobu koto ga dekimasu yo.
And here I am again, folks. I'm happy to say that I have some more fanart planned for the near future. Yes, I do actually have to make plans to draw because I happen to have a life outside the internet.
So it comes time now that school is ready to begin again. Now, I could go about moaning and angsting about this summer and how I was miserable and bored, but I believe that would be a colossal waste of time.
I've been feeling a tad out of character lately for really no reason I can define adequately. It seems that my usual cynical tendancies have been put on pause and my more insanely random side has come out to play. So I've been rather childish at times, and a little subdued at others. It's very difficult to explain.
But anyway, I'm pretty happy because I found the korean cd I was looking for. If anybody watches the international channel, they will know what I'm referring to. But every Sunday or Monday on a biweekly schedule (I think), The International Channel plays the top ten Korean music videos. I was watching the top ten over at a friend's house, and there was one song in particular that caught our attention. It was a rap song by the title of "Fishing", by an artist called G-master. Now I despise almost all rap with a firey passion, but there were several qualities to "Fishing" that were interesting enough to keep me listening. A) The beat was catchy...Insanely so, 2) There was an adorable little "techno-baby" voice that was nothing short of adorable, albeit somewhat frightening, D) The music video was hilarious, and 5) I rather liked Min's voice. (Additionally, it's not that I can't count, but the A, 2, d, 5 list is a friend's more scatterbrained way of counting random things that I adopted because I like it, therefore making this one big inside joke.)
But I found the cd at a nearby store and have been listening to it. I occurs to me how ranky my cd colection is, and how badly I need to remedy it. I won't go into details, but I'll put it this way; the worst part of my collection is the STAR WARS SYMPHONIC SUITE. I shit you not.
But, anyway, I'm off to aquire some more Vampire Princess Miyu items. Au revoir.

Throwing the kettle at the wall.
Today has the potential to be something other than dull, but chances are, since I have no means of transportation, this day will be every bit as forgettable as the last.
But I am not completely pathetic, so I'm finding ways to make use of my time. Today I am finding voices and compiling theme song lists suitable to my roleplaying characters. I'm simply browsing through my extensive playlists of many different types of songs an choosing an artist whose voice I believe to be akin to a character. Then I prowl around and listen to my lists, then select songs that have messages or themes pertaining to that character and write them down. It's a rather mindless way to pass the time, but it beats shitty daytime television.
As an example of what I am doing, the format is something like this;
Name: Raen Hollowell
Voice: Josh Croban/ David Draeman (from Disturbed)
Theme song/s: "forsaken" (queen of the damned), "Gekka no yasokyoku" (malice mizer), "Birdcage" (gackt).
As an additional note, pictures of my characters can be found on my Elfwood galleries, but info will have to wait until I get my webpage up and running.
When I actually stop being a lazy ass, I promise I'll actually learn html, create graphics and the like to make whatever site I will have a decent one. Until then, back to character theme lists!

More Screechings from the Monkey house.
Hello again. I realize I have only one piece of fan art posted, but more will be on the way. Soon, I hope. On my elfwood galleries, I added at least two new pictures on my Lothlorien and a new Zone 47 gallery as well with four pictures of original characters. It has occured to me only recently about how desperately I need a CD burner. I have so many soundtracks from the anime, game, J-pop, and J-rock cds I own in a playlist that is 11 hours,42 minutes, and 28 seconds long. Since I can't very well carry about my computer to listen to my musical happiness, the only solution to this problem is to get off my lazy ass, get a job with which to accumulate money, and then blow it all on a cd burner and blank cds. Sadly, the job market is slim pickings for one so young as I, who also balks at the idea of working in a greasy fast food place. I spent the night over at a good friend's house recently, and listened to some truly insane music. Anyone who knows the song "Butterfly", the scary techno version or otherwhise, feel my pain. (Ai yi yai I'm your little butterfly...)
Speaking of insane Japanese music, I bought the Chobits "character Theme song Collection" cd some time ago, listened to it a few times, then deposited it in my collection where it sat collecting dust for a while. Today, I dug up the cd, wondered why I had not listened to it in a while, and jovially popped the disc into my cd player. I promptly discovered why it had been forgotten by me. Let me put it this way, though this cd has its share of decent songs and instrumentals, one song is undoubtedly on crack. The song in question is "Groove master" the theme song of Shimbo and Sumomo(or plum). Now I'd like to say that musically, I'm not easily frightened, I mean, for crying out loud one of my favourite songs is Gekka no Yasokyoku by malice Mizer, a sort of freaky carnival song that makes you want to run around, dressed as a jester, scaring little children . But, this song, "Groove Master" made me seriously consider whether or not I had been smoking anything. It's techno-esque, which tends to be cracked up sometimes anyway, it's insanely repetitive, and Sumomo's voice is so reminescent of a six year old sucking on helium that I can feel my ears bleeding when I listen to her sing her part of the duet. I don't feel as if I'm exagerating, but if you doubt me, just listen to it, I dare you.
Don't get me wrong, I love Chobits the SERIES, but the cd left me little less than satisfied.
But anyway, as I close this entry while listening to Happitai "YATTA" which is a life changing experience in itself if you see the music video (on albinoblacksheep.com's video section), I'd like to leave you with a final thought, but I have none to give for now. Happy da.
