MARCHING CONTEST!!!

Well, Saturday was interesting. I had spent the night at my friends house the night before because of the football game. Then at 11:30am we left the house to get to the band room. We dressed in uniform and left around 1pm. When we got to the contest, everyone got a pair of gloves, and being a clarinet, I and my fellow clarinet players had to cut the fingertips off. I like my gloves like that any way.

After getting our instrument we got onto the practice field and did what we needed, it was actually hot, so we took off our jackets. I, unfortunately, could not take my marching hat off, like everyone else, because then I'd have a horrible time trying to get all my hair under my hat again. But it did shield my eyes from the sun.

After practice, we marched onto the field and did our show. A few hours past afterwards adn then we heard the results. We got best Drum Line and Best Drum Majors for AA and we also got first division. But we were .9 points shy of getting into the finals. That sucked. There's always the next contest. We have about another 2 or 3 after this one, so, maybe...
