Bictoly!!!
Today is the Coldplay concert at Darien Lake! It's kind of depressing really that this is my first concert. How do I act?!? What do I do?
I was looking over the tickets yesterday and asked my mom why we had "seats". I thought it would be like all of the J-Rock/ J-Pop concerts I have DVDs of. You know, no seats ya just hope you get there before everyone else so you're up right next to the stage. But no. She told me that we must SIT during the concert. O.O SIT? SIT! Is that...right? What fun is it to sit during a concert? We must stand and dance! Then again, it IS Coldplay. How I can dance to Coldplay I'm not sure of. *shrug* At least it's a concert. I don't think she's quite ready to accept me as a J-Rock child yet. Heh.
But! I do have a cool outfit, so I'm OK. ^_~ It's faded cargo pants with lace around the waist and on the pockets. I'm also wearing a kinda skimpy frilly black tanktop. :D And my Aunt Nancy's military boots...with steel toes. Mwah hah hah hah hah!
Concert aside. I convinced my mom to let me get my hair cut again. Like Momiji. I just told her that it was technically a Pixie Cut and Tracy (our hairstylist) had already suggested that for me. Hee hee. And Charlotte claims bictoly! ^_^
Bah. I'm having a mini problem and I would like help. There is this guy, Neil, who used to be my friend. A lot of the girls at school kind of stopped talking to him last year after we got fed up with him so OBVIOUSLY looking at us. By "looking" I mean at butt and chest. :[ That's just gross. I mean, it's one thing if the guy is your boyfriend or if he's really close to you and he notices something like. But looking at every girl is just not good for keeping friendships! Anyway, my BFF, Casey, and I usally go down to the park at our school and swing or play Spud, something like that. Yesterday Neil and his friends where there and they wouldn't leave us alone! "Why do you hate him?" "Hey Char! Go out with Neil why don't you?" Blah blah blah! Cas and I tried our best to ignore them so we started talking about Furuba and it's OVER once you get on the subject of Yuki. Casey is sooo obsessed! (Not like I'm any better! Oh Momiji my sweet....lol) She started saying how she wants one of the Yuki hats you can get at Media Play (I have one and a Momiji rabbit stuffed animal). Then she said way to loud how, with that hat on, she could be a rat too.
Neil got this evil look on his face and said, "Oh. I want to be a rat now!" His friend Carly laughed and said something about how rats are so disgusting.
In this point of the narritive I'd like you all to know that I am extremly sensitive about my likes and my friends likes and interests. 'Nuff said. I shall continue.
Casey looked at me as though I was about to kill as a wave of anger washed over me. I quickly turned to face Neil and Carly with a look like Hanajima might give the Prince Yuki Fanclub. "What's so bad about a rat...?" Casey looked really hurt and I'm sure she was thinking about how Yuki couldn't understand what was wrong with himself when he was little. I know I was. They apparently didn't have an answer because they left soon after. Concieted bastards.
Eh heh heh heh...I really didn't have to tell you that story, huh? Sorry. My question is how do I deal with them? What's going to far? I need help 'cause I bought a voodoo doll just for this purpose. That might be a little over the top though... :/
Sorry for the gargantuan post but...
Here. Have a song quote:
"Slide of an orange reflects in the sky,
Hanging the pride of a sponge"
That's the translation of the first line of "Ride on Shooting Star" by the Pillows. (The ending theme of FLCL!) I don't get it...^_^

Guuu...
I'm having technical difficulties. All of the pictures on EVERYONE'S site (including mine) come up as X's on both my mom's and my computer. Why is this? I can't see anyone's background either. T_T
That aside. My mom won't let me get my hair cut again! (She gave me the, "We'll see...we'll see...") That's just horrible! I'm in a bad mood so I'll leave before I say anything else...
Here. Have a quote.
Momiji: "Kyo! Kyo? Kyo, are you sick?"
Kyo: "I'm tired. I don't have the energy to deal with you. Go away."
Momiji: "...I understand..."
Momiji: *yells*"We're going on a trip tomorrow, so get ready, okay!!!"
Kyo: "You don't understand at all!"
Hee hee! I love Momiji's clothes during this scene!!! (of the manga)

...nnnn?.....
I'm kinda tired. Barely got any sleep last night....(I'm at my dad's.)
Not really much to say 'till I get home and follow through with "the plan". What plan? You say. It's a secret! BTW I got my hair cut short. About an inch above my shoulders. BUT! I'm gonna go for the "Momiji" look. (Part of the plan.) So I'm probably gonna get it cut shorter, you know, like Momiji.
Anyway I'm leaving and I'll post more tommorrow when I get home. Bye bye!

Derby Hat Part II
WAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!! @_@ I got The Hat. I got Tohma's Hat. (BTW "The Hat" MUST be capitalized.)
I decided to make dinner today, and even though we had some technical difficulties it actually tasted good. The menu was originally suppposed to be Italian Style Mini Meat Loaves with Mac n'3 Cheeses and Seared Greens with Red Onion and Vinegar. But since I almost burned down the house I had to cut out the Greens. *shrug* Not important! My grandmother had an after-dinner-present for me.
That's where I got The Hat! Yay! Hat! It fits almost perfectly. Tohma's Hat didn't cover his ears but mine covers a little bit. My mom is also going to get me a quail feather to stick in it because she thinks a peacock feather would be overdoing it. My grandma seems to disagree as she offered me her peacock feather in secret. Mwah hah hah hah hah!!! I've decided I look like a classy pimp. (Possible? Maybe. Look at Daisuke Asakura. And Tohma-sama himself.) I even wear The Hat more towards the back of my head like Tohma does.
Anyway, gotta go. But I promise that I'll have pictures of The Hat, Tohma, my bow, and my Yuki necklace soon! ^_^

Presents!
I have not done much lately...
My mom got back from her art show though! She got me lots of presents. The best one was a handmade archery bow and my own set of school arrows (they're really light!). The bow is absolutely beautiful and the pull is 19 pounds. Which is abnormal but okay because I practice with a 20 pounder. She also got me a wooden Japanese comb. I carry it with me everywhere! (Maybe I can get pictures of it later...)
She got me two kimonos, one was a women's kimono with an array of pink and green vines on it. Very spring-like! The other is a man's kimono which is pure black. This one is kind of her's though. It's a little big for me.
I also got a silver and amber nacklace that is....(wait for it).....A RAT!!! I called it Yuki! Mwahahhahahahah!!!!!! I got more items but I sort of have to stop now.
There was this whole thing where I didn't go to my friend's B-Day party because my mom had just gotten home an hour before and I wouldn't get to see her for hours if I had gone to the party...blah blah blah.
Now my mom's all mad at me 'cause I probably hurt this kid's feelings. And that wonderful mother-daughter relationship I had worked so hard to build is now destroyed because I wanted to spend time with her! Is that a little warped or is it just me?
Am I a bad person for not going to my friend's B-Day party?
Sorry for how rushed this is!

Derby Hat!
Gravitation fans! Front and center!
I have a story for you!
As anyone who has been paying attention to my site lately would know, Tohma Seguchi from Gravitation is my absolute favorite anime/manga character EVER! Hands down!
I also happen to love his style of clothing. Which, of course, includes that Derby Hat which he is almost never seen without.
Anyway, I've been planning on getting my hands on one of them for quite some time now because A) I love the hat itself B) I love Tohma and C) When someone at school asks me why I have that hat on I'm going to say, "Oh. This? It's my koibito's!". Then I'll walk away. (BTW "koibito" roughly means "lover" in Japanese.) No one will get it...^_~
Eeeek! Sorry! I always get sidetracked like that! Anyway! My grandmother and I went to Barnes&Nobel today but we couldn't leave the dog in the car with the heat so I stayed on the car. Allowing us to keep the air-conditioning on. When my grandmother came back she said,
"You'll never guess what I just saw."
'_'
"There was a guy in there with a Tohma hat on!" (She gets giggly over shonen ai...)
"EEEEK! Was he blonde?!?! *_*"
*she gave me one of those "you repulsive creature" looks here*
"No, but I did ask him where he got it. The store is just down the street. Want to go?"
"Oh! Of course!..." (I was REALLY hoping that he was blonde...)
So we went down the street into a Tuxedo shop and asked the salesman if we could find a Derby Hat in my size. Sure! So he gave me about a million hats 'till we found a small one...but it wasn't a Derby Hat so we had to order it from the main shop. I'll get it on Thursday! I can't wait!
(I know, I know. Long story just to say that I was getting Tohma's hat...^_^)
I'm going to wear it everywhere and with everything! I've decided that the Hat would look surprisingly good with jeans.
Tohma is the best!!!! *\(^_^)/*
If I do end up getting into producing (or even in a band 'cause I can't see myself with any other kind of job) I'll always wear that hat! Look for me!!! ^_^ Mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!
...
I'm crazed.

I shall now show off my protectiveness for Gackt.
I just saw a picture of a girl with her arms around Gackt! (I am awful with html so maybe I can just give the web address...: http://www.oricon.co.jp/music/news/p-et-tp0-050805-9001.html ) This picture came equiped with a nice little article, in Japanese. I suck with translating anything but the phrase "baka inu" so I could not read the article. So, maybe my hyper-lover-protecting-act is for a misunderstood cause but...she had her arms around him! She was touching the untouchable god! Punishment is in her near future!!! Ku ku ku...
Ahem, if anyone can ease my poor fangirly fears, please do so. I must know HER NAME, HOME PHONE NUMBER, AND ADDRESS!!!!! SHE'S GOIN' DOWN!!!!!
Ahem, I mean, please tell me what that was about. I won't hurt her, I promise, at least, that it won't be as bad as what happened to Ms. Perfect! (Anyone remember that photoshoot?)

I lied....^_^
Contrary to what I said in the last post, Gakkun is still my favorite man in the world. He just seems a bit more out of reach than Asakura-sama.
For those of you that are fans of Gackt then maybe you know about "Diabolos". I vist the Dears website on a regular basis and Gakkun is apparently going on tour again. I don't know much (the site is in JAPANESE) but I know that it starts on Christmas Eve. The 24th of December. By the way, if I got any info wrong in this post...please tell me. Anyway, my grandmother and I were talking about Christmas wishlists....heh heh heh (or "ku ku ku"). Of course I took this as a chance to bring up the up-coming tour and how he rarely ever goes on tour (bit of a stretch, every 2-3 years or so) and how I'm getting old enough that I could be able to go AND how he's getting a bit older (NEVER NEVER NEVER) so he might not even HAVE another tour!!! You never know, he could twist his ankle in the shower when doing his Matrix-stretchy-"let's-keep-in-shape"-thingy and have to stay off his feet for a while...Either way my grandmother seemed to sympathize with my heartfelt derlarations of regret if I could not go to his concert and started talking about ways to get me (and my mom) to Japan.
She said it could be a Christmas present for my mom and I! (Yes, my mom likes J-Rock. She's not as heavily into it as I, but she still likes it. By the way, my grandmother thinks Gackt is "meticulous, effeminate, and androgynous" Her words for beautiful man!!!) Our plans were varied but I think the best was to get my Grandmother, my Uncle John, my Aunt Nancy, my step-father Greg, Greg's parents (my other grandparents), and maybe even my dad to chip in so we could send my mom and I (or just me in my dad's case) to Japan for the Diabolos live tour!!!!! ^_^ That's a great plan. Now I have something to look forward to! The flaw in this plan is how to get the actual tickets...where....WHERE?!?!?! T_T I may still have a chance though! Mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!
^_^ I'm coming my sweet Gakkun! ^_~ I'll wear a shirt with one of my favorite lines from his songs. "Tsuki no mahou wa...shalle a le rilla" ("The magic of the moon is...shalle a le rilla") It's the beginning of the chorous from U+K. I don't really know why I love that line so much...maybe it's because I can hear his smile while he's singing it. Does that sound weird? ^_^ Oh well.
Talk to you later!

mmmmm....Asakura-sama....yummy...
I have found my life's love. Daisuke Asakura-sama. ^_^ Love. Bliss. Eternal happiness.
For those of you who have no idea who Asakura-sama is, he is the composer and producer of all of Gravitation's music, he is/was the producer and composer of all of Takanori Nishikawa's (T.M. Revolution's) music, he also works with fayray, RUN&GUN, Yuki Kimura, Kinya Kotani, Yousuke Sakanoue (who Gravitation fans would know as the singer of the theme song SUPER DRIVE), Pool Pit Boys,....and...more...
He was one member of the popular duo Access, along with Hiroyuki Takami. The pair split in 1995 after a three year career together and Asakura-sama continued on in the music business by teaming up with Iceman and (at the same time) starting to work with T.M. Revolution. Then, in 2002 Asakura-sama and Hiroyuki reunited as Access once again, mwah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah!!!!!!
Ahem, so yeah. I love him. He's the reason I want to get into the music business as a producer. He's also my inspiration in my keyboarding studies. I'm taking piano lessons and all...I've even tried my hand at making some music with the keyboards I have...it all sounds mysteriously like Gravitation's stuff. ^_^ At least I'm trying! Daisuke really is my idol though.
I got T.M. Revolution's new CD, Vertical Infinity. It's really amazing! Takanori and Asakura-sama really deliver. ^_^
On a lower note, I have a story for you all.
About 3 years ago my dog Tucker suddenly froze in our backyard. He would not move...or could not move. Tucker was always such a puppy. Even though he was 12 years old he didn't have a mature bone in his body. We were convinced that he had some mental problem where he thought he was still a baby, what a psycho dog! That's why it was so weird that he was acting like this. My mom picked him up and drove him to the vet. When she got there the vet looked over Tucker with a machine and delivered the bad news that Tuck had a tumor on his spleen that was so small that it had never been noticed before. This would not have been a problem but it had burst and now Tuck was bleeding eternally. We knew he was in great pain so we decided to put him down. It was a hard time for all of us, mostly my mom and I. To me (no matter how silly this sounds) Tuck was like my brother. I had never known a day without him because he was with us from the day I was born. My mom had raised him at the same time that she had raised me, he was her son. Him and his sister Ruby were a very important part of our family.
The reason I'm telling you all this is because a friend of mine (whom we all lovingly call Elves Ate My Ramen ^_^) is going through something similar to my experience, though it hopefully won't end as my story did.
I think that it's really important to have support to help ease your fears and sadness when facing the death or pain in the family. I just wanted to find some way to support her and let her know that we are thinking about her. ^_^
Sorry for the long post!
