   s-s-Sorry!!!!!!!
Ah I've been gone soooooooooooo long . . . I haven't answered messages or guestbook entries or gone around to all my friends' sites in soooooooooo long . . . I'm sorry! I've gotten signed up for net access through the university and school starts next week so I shouldn't be disappearing for days and days again any time soon . . .

: P so I never got to play that rpg cuz we *somehow* left it at our grandfather's house from over Christmas . . . and my brother took his dvd player back to the dorm, too. The only open dvd player is in the family room which is COLD!!! so I've just been watching anime I taped before our cable got shut off--the same ones OVER and OVER. My grandfather has satellite but I couldn't even watch anime while we were there cuz there's only one tv and no one else wants to see it, even if they had something besides tv to do they wouldn't want it on and I wouldn't want them to see it cuz they'd make fun of me. stupidheads wouldn't understand. *blah* normal people are so intolerant. oh look I'm being intolerant of normal people aren't I. oh freakin' well.

Soooooooooooooooooooo I've watched the first Inuyasha movie like a billion trillion times. Sometimes in English and sometimes in Japanese with subtitles. I still like both, somehow . . .
someone (can't remember who. sorry!) said you pick up more Japanese than you'd think by watching it that way with subtitles and they were right. I figured out nani ("what") really fast. Well waddaya expect. You can't really help but figure that out . . . and I noticed some similar-sounding variations that translate into related words, when I looked them up . . . and . . . well I just keep picking up more and more. hehe. learning vocabulary doesn't worry me so much as grammar and usage. hmmmmm . . . and there aren't any articles (a, an, the) in Japanese, which is kinda nice. I mean, in Spanish, there are so many variations--sigular, plural, masculine, femenine . . . *blah* I hate most languages. The interesting thing is that Japanese is completely unique since no one knew it was there and they didn't know of anyone else until the 1800s. All the Latin(French, Italian, Spanish, etc)- and Nordic(German etc)-based languages share so many things, including much of the basic structure--but Japanese is completely different! How cool is that?! I like it better, you know. Although it's more complicated by influences of the rest of the world in the past two hundred years. There are whole sounds they never had that are gradually working there way into their language--though they often pronounce things differently. They use "r"s now (didn't before) but they pronounce them more like "l"s or maybe a bit like "d"s (to my ears). Kinda like a rolled "r" I guess. But a bit different.

Anyway . . . um . . . yeah. I beat Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask for like the hundredth time lately . . . and am playing WindWaker again. The Nintendo Gallery thingy there is interesting. It takes patience and it makes no sense why it would be interesting but for some reason I keep doing it. That guy wandering around inside is a dork though.

Most of the Inuyasha anime I've seen are around the same period of time--the time around manga 13-19 or so. I haven't really seen much of the earlier or later ones. I saw the first one once (on accident) and one with Dark Miko Tsubaki and that curse on Kagome and one with Shiori and stuff about the Tetsusaiga and one about some cat demons . . . but I was only beginning to get into anime then and wasn't all InuyashaInuyashaInuyasha!!!!!!! like I am now and didn't tape them *sob sob* ah well someday I'll buy them all on dvd.
