My name is Ross I am 20 years old. I am currently living in the Carolinas. I am a full time college student at USC/Midlands Tech. I am working on a Master's Degree in English and an undergraduate in Teaching. I also work part time as a programmer.
I have been watching anime since 1995. The first anime I watched was DBZ, which I cannot stand watching now. My favorite anime is Chobits. The characters are so well developed, and the story is well done. I mainly like fantasy anime, sometimes watch mystery, drama, and action.

Introspection
Since I met Bryce, my life has changed a lot. Maybe not the day to day things but the way I think about a lot of stuff. I actually believe in a higher power now, I think because I questioned and helped Bryce find out what she wanted from Religion. I also found things in me that I did not know were there. I found a lot more compassion than I thought I had a willingness to help others. All of the things I found I am sure I had, it has just I did not really notice. Everyone has always thought of me as a "good guy". Maybe by them calling me a good guy, they meant because of my compassion and willingness to help. I always volunteered at the local vet's office to help out, because I loved animals, and I loved to help people and their animals. I am not honestly sure about all of it; these are things I have found through introspection. I have found nothing but good things in my life recently, I pray for that to continue.
My classes are all going well, math is kind of sucky but eh. Philosophy is interesting; we are talking about a German person that successfully made everyone hate him. Sociology is going good, talking about different ways to make studies. Ecology is a pain because I write like five pages of notes minimum lately, but Bryce is there so that makes me happy. Math is shitty; my stupid professor keeps us in there past the time we should be in there. That and the crap we are going over I only understand some of it. While many of these brats just out of high school keep yelling at her to cut the review, crap and move on. Some people just need to learn to shut the fuck up, pardon my French. Yeah so once again, math sucks lol.
I have been watching Please Teacher series, a friend loaned it to me. Really cute series with a great ending, the mother really cracked me up. Watched some more Bleach, amazing series; Xenosaga is going good as well.

I originally had a date setup with Bryce, but she was busy at the time. Later when she was free, we talked on the phone for about 3 hours. I found out a lot of stuff that I was wondering I am amazed every time I talk with her I find something that makes me like her even more.
I spent most of the day cleaning up around the house, and working on my homework. I have all my homework done except a bit of math. I wish I could understand math more, it just does not seem practical to me I guess. I do not see an everyday need for all of these higher forms of math. If you can balance a checkbook, and your everyday job does not use math then what is the point? Computers run on mathematical calculations, why not use those, instead of making college students take useless classes.
It would be my suggestion that people who do not need math classes, to take more classes towards their major. I would much rather take more English or literature classes than a bunch of useless math classes.
Anyways, Bryce is going to call tomorrow and we plan to spend the day together. I just cannot believe I met her she is so amazing. I expressed to her how much I care about her and like her; she said she feels the same way. I am just so happy right now.
Anime wise I watched Ah my Goddess the movie today. Also had a chance to watch a few episodes of Gundam Seed Desitny.

Life is great...
Well everything could not be any better. I just got off the phone with my new girlfriend. She is perfect, she is beautiful, loves computers (as much as I do), and very smart too. I do not think I could ask for a better girlfriend.
Anyways, classes are going great as well. My sociology professor is one of the best I have the honor to know. He keeps people interested, and makes them laugh as well. He is an excellent storyteller, which he uses to explain many of the different concepts we need to learn. I actually look forward to going to each class. Math is going well, while I am having some trouble, the professor goes into such detail over each kind of problem it generally answers my questions. Philosophy is going good as well; many interesting topics come up for discussion. Ecology is interesting but it is also a lot of work, I took eight pages of notes last class.
Anime: Watched Xenosaga episode two, I think it is going to be an interesting series. Ah my Goddess is fantastically well done; I have enjoyed the first two episodes immensely. I rented some of Samurai X series from netflix, it is well done, sad story. Going to finish Samurai X, not sure yet as to what I am going to watch next. Never mind, the Naruto episode just came out, guess I am going to watch that.
