And I...

Everyone must try to carry on
Everyone holds shadows from that long time ago
Everyone takes a better way
If they live the life that they always wanted to save
And everyone will cry about their past
But the tears that they shall cry will never last
And the pictures of the future may never come to be,
If that future your holding has a Past with me.
You’ll see.

Everyone has to walk the path,
Of the straighter light that last.
But I tell you, right now,
Of all the things you see
You’ll never hold a future,
If you have a past with me
And as I look into your eyes,
That’s all I see
I’ll never forget your past
With me
I can never let your touch out of my mind
I wish I never saw your eyes
I wish my body was blind
To your ways
The taste of your kiss,
Your face against my face
I can’t believe
I can’t forget
I can’t let go,
And yet
I feel so much more alone
Then I ever felt before
And I mourn as I try to forget light
That haunts my before

I just don’t know what to do
My eyes once so gray, at that time
Were blue
When you are gone I lose my way
And I cry myself to sleep today
And I feel myself disappear slowly away!
