Perfect Flaws
Like a doll with a single eye,
Worn and rough from too much love,
I relish the prospect of so much to fix,
Your warm embrace, as we sew back the other.

The way you laugh at the wrong time,
Beautifully broken, yet shy and outspoken,
Cracks that add pathways into your smile,
I like the photos you don't know I have.

Oh last lonely silver petal,
To crush so sweet beneath my feet,
Hear the silence in your feigned regret,
A need to be half-wilted.

Dirty luminescence, tingling,
Yawnful desire to never truly acquire,
Such beating hearts against your chest,
How I wish for me, only you could cry.

Seeing brushstrokes behind paintings,
Misunderstand why you're misunderstood,
Adoring contours of your drooping face,
I now see...It's for your perfect flaws.
