   *siiiiiigh*
hi. okay, mike came over yesterday. he brought me a dozen dark pink roses with a tint of red and a dark red teddy bear (the teddy bear's really cute, i love it!!) he also got a taste of my cooking for the first time. i had made dinner thurday night: pork roast with gravy and chicken noodles. my pork roast is one of my specialites *blushes a bit* my dad and my brother love it. so mike tried it and he said it was delicious!! i was so happy..i was like, you better get used to my cooking now because you're going to be tasting a lot of it in the future!! LOL! then we went down to my playroom and watched some more of boys over flowers. i can't get enough of this anime. i own the entire series. i have six dvd's, nine episodes to a dvd. we're still on the first dvd, but we've watched several episodes. for some reason SO FAR i want tsukushi with doumyouji, even though he's kind of an ass. at least you can tell he is in love with her. i find rui too cold and aloof, and i think he makes a much better couple with that model chick, who happens to be really nice. well, who knows..i'm only up to the squid catching episode so i could definitely change my mind later on. what's the last anime anyone's seen? just curious, later!

   stuff and stuff o.o
okay, my brother graduated from the marines last friday. my family and i went down to south carolina. it was a really cool ceremony and i was proud of him. we all talked to him after we left the island, and to put it lightly his training was not easy so i'm proud of him that he was able to make it through. other than that, i finally finished writing my freakin' term paper. it's on confucianism vs. taoism. i cover the topics of the superior/best man, virtue, wu-wei (non-action) and the Way/Tao. it's about six pages long in new courier font. (yes, i know big font..i didn't have enough with times new roman). i don't know, i think my paper kicks ass. after making several comparisons, i came to the conclusion that these two philosophies have more differences than similarities. i basically think that because of the differences concerning confucius' concept of the Way versus lao tzu's idea of Tao. if anyone has any further questions, just leave it in my comments. i went over mike's house yesterday and we watched hana yori dango (boys over flowers) and it was damn good. i have to say this is the number two best anime that came out last year, second only to millenium actress, in my opinion. what do you all think was the best anime of 2003? well, this is enough for now..later!
