a story i read to my teacher and a poem from earlier cuz..cuz i feel like it.
she gave us the topics we needed to cover in class. its pretty much how the world will be different in 100 years.

Essay:

In one hundred years, the future and its inhabitants will have destroyed most of the world with a nuclear bomb, and the world's population will have dropped over 9/10ths. Maybe not, so the future might actually be better than expected. The transportation will probably be made up of hovercrafts and airborn highways, like all the movies predict. My decendants' generation will be completely spoiled and lazy, just as we are becoming with our new technology. Computers in one hundred years will never need to be touched to be turned on, they will be completely voice controlled. We will be entertained by dancing robots with monkeys on leashes. Sports will consist of chasing and catching hovering balls. Our education will suffer and greatly differ from what we know now because we will study mostly technology, and our brains will become that of a robot's.

Poem:

i feel so useless.
you dont need me.
you Never have.
you Never will.
im trapped in Forever.
trying to find the Truth.
waiting for an Answer.
it makes me ill.
your lies were Real to me.
but Real is never what is seems.
soon i found out what you were hiding.
and saw through your clever schemes.
it broke my heart.
to live with that horrible Truth.
to Know and be expected to continue.
but soon there will be Nothing left.
i cannot hold on to you.
