   so Sorry!
Sorry guys that I have been ignoring you for the past week. Our chemistry project was due today and well I've been working on it along with my partner. That's what basically took over my time. I LOVE the requested art I asked KanuckGrrl to draw for me. Oh and Wolf....when exactly are you going to start FFXI again? Cuz I think I can start by this week....if I can convince my parents hehe ^^;;. Well if you can, why dont you log onto AIM. Well I'll be posting Chapter 7 later on today (7 PM PST). That's all for today!

Chapter 6; Enjoy!
Chapter 6: Escape

Inside the dark room of the van.
Iruka: “Aisu?”
Aisu: “……….”
The van comes to a complete stop. The sound of footsteps become louder as they approach the van doors. Blinded by a bright light, Iruka and Aisu are taken inside a large sinister building. Once inside they are quickly carried to the elevator and taken to the top floor. “Research and Experiments” was labeled across the steel plated door. Fifth teen men struggle carrying Aisu on a large stretcher while Iruka is forced to walk at gun point.
Officer : “[struggling to sustain Aisu] Hurry up and open the cell will you? This gator isn’t exactly light weight.”
Scientist: “[punching in a pin-number] Hold your horses will you?”
As the cell door open, Iruka and Aisu are thrown in. Iruka quickly went to Aisu’s side checking if he was ok.
Iruka: “[worried tone] Aisu? Aisu wake up”
Aisu makes a few grunting noises and slowly opens his eyes to see Iruka’s relieved face.
Aisu: “[head lifted up while still on the floor] What’s…what’s going on? What happened? Are you ok?”
Iruka: “I’m fine, how about you?”
Officer: “Hahaha. Isn’t that cute? The freaks care about each other.”
Officer 10: “[makes his way to the front of the cell] So that’s how an Elementian looks like. I thought they would look much different.”
Officer 7: “Nah, the Elementians are human wanna b’s with unnatural hair and eye color.”
The lab door opens and a man with long black hair and a white lab coat enters.
Dr. Shigomoto: “Gentlemen! Leave the species alone and return to your stations! Unless you want me to report you to the Warden!”
The officers leave the room angered. Dr. Shigomoto walks up to the cell and examines Iruka and Aisu closely. His eyes widen, full of excitement, when he sees Iruka’s right hand.
Scientist Miho: “Is there something wrong Doctor?”
Dr. Shigomoto: “Izumi!”
Another scientist emerges from the Research Lab.
Scientist Izumi: “Yes Dr. Shigomoto?”
Dr. Shigomoto: “Is the program ready?”
Scientist Izumi: “Yes Doctor! We found out that the problem was that there was not enough power supply up here so we moved everything to the twentieth floor.”
Dr. Shigomoto: “Good. Miho , obtain that Elementian and follow me”
Scientist Miho: “As you say”
Miho punches in a few numbers into the terminal. Another cell wall begins to lift from the ground, separating Iruka and Aisu into two separate cells. She then opens the door withdraws a stun gun.
Scientist Miho: “Now we can do this the easy way or [the stun gun crackles] the hard way”
Iruka gives into submission and is escorted outside where Dr. Shigomoto firmly grasps Iruka’s right hand to get a closer look.
Dr. Shigomoto: “[very low tone] He is the one..”
“[releasing his tight grip on Iruka] Izumi, take the gator to the dissection lab on the tenth floor. I’ve always wanted to explore the insides of a Repthian. The last specimen was not enough for my research. Come Miho!”
Iruka: “Aisu!!”
Aisu: “Iruka!!”
Dr. Shigomoto and Miho leave the room with Iruka in hand. Izumi nervously begins to punch in the number combinations.
Terminal: “Would you like to open the inner cell wall?”
Scientist Izumi: “Yes”
Terminal: “Voice Confirmed. Izumi Kojima. Opening inner cell wall.”
Izumi opens the cell door and he to withdraws a stung gun but much larger powerful.
Scientist Izumi: “I am truly sorry to have to do this Mr. Gator but may you put your hands behind your back?”
Aisu does as he is told. Izumi handcuffs Aisu’s hands with a special pair of titanium cuffs.
Scientist Izumi: “//Strange…why is he so calm?//”
“Now please walk in front of me and do not make any sudden moves or I will be forced to take action.”
Aisu nods.
[ Meanwhile]
The door closes behind them. Dr. Shigomoto walks up to a large computer terminal. Miho leads Iruka to a large fiber glass sphere. Pushing him inside, Miho seals the entrance and walks over to Shigomoto.
Miho: “The Elementian is in the sphere Doctor”
Dr. Shigomoto: “Excellent! Now to start the program [pushes a few buttons]”
Terminal: “Now beginning E.E. Program.”
A large black blob is injected into the sphere.
[ Izumi leads Aisu down the hall and into the elevator]
Entering the elevator Izumi made the biggest mistake you can ever do. Turning his back to punch in the floor number, Aisu slapped the stun gun from Izumi’s hand with his tail. Caught of guard, Izumi jumped against the elevator wall in fright. Aisu wraps his tail around Izumi like a serpent catching its prey. Aisu pulls Izumi close him
Aisu: “[primitive eyes] Now tell me what they are going to do with Iruka or you will become part of my balance diet [opens his mouth slightly showing the rows of teeth; while growling]”
Izumi: “[scared] He’s in the Element Extraction Laboratory!”
Aisu: “Element Extraction Room? Elaborate!?”
Izumi: “Well you see, the one you call Iruka is the chosen one. He is suppose to poses boundless elemental energy. We, Research Corp., have dedicated our lives in search of the Chosen One. Elementian after Elementian that came into Yoshiro, we have captured and experimented on.”
Aisu: “What kind of experiments?”
Izumi: “We will do any type of experiment on him by any means possible if we can harness his limitless energy, even if he is terminated in the process.”
Aisu: “ You are willing to kill him if it means you can obtain this power? You humans have no compassion towards us do you? How many Elementians have you killed in this process”
Izumi: “Every single one that we captured but it’s not like we are doing this for fun or in the name of science! We are trying to save the world from total destruction. We, HUMANS, shall be the saviors of this land and you REAns will have no choice but to worship us.”
Aisu: “What world destruction?”
Izumi: “I’m surprised that you as a REAn do not know the prophecy.”
Aisu: “[growls]”
Izumi: “The prophecy goes like this:

There will be a war between four races that dwell on the land
One race shall reign supreme and dominate
But the war has only begun
The God of Destruction shall rise once more
To destroy all life on this earth
The Goddess of Creation will able to do nothing
For she shall fall into a deep slumber
But there is hope
A boy shall be born, Chosen by the Gods
He will be gifted with limitless Mana
His symbol shall differ from the rest
But alone he cannot win the fight
He will be accompanied by five members
One of these members will be of his own blood
This boy will be the one that will destroy the God of Destruction
But he will face many challenges ahead
And when he confronts his final challenge
He shall triumph

Izumi: “But there was one line that was recently discovered, ‘His life energy will perish’. We believe that if he saves the earth then he will die in the process. So what we are trying to do is well harness his power and use it ourselves. If he is going to die anyways, well you know.”
Aisu: “[slams Izumi against the elevator wall angrily] You will release me right now and take me where he is!”
[ Back in then E. E. Room]
The black blob has Iruka half devoured into its gooey substance.
Iruka: “Let me go! LET ME GO!!”
Miho: “Doctor! His mana readings are increasing!”
Dr. Shigomoto: “Excellent…”
Iruka screams for help as his face and left arm protrude from the blob.
Terminal:” [outside E.E. Lab] Izumi Kojima….confirmed.”
It was too late, Iruka was completely devoured by the black blob by the time Aisu and Izumi entered the room.
Aisu: “Iruka!!!”
Miho: “What…what are you doing here!? Izumi!”
Izumi: “He caught me off guard when I was transporting him! I’m sorry!”
Dr. Shigomoto: “I’m afraid you are too late! [turns over to the terminal] Begin Element Extraction!”
Terminal: “Commencing Elemental Retrieval in one minute”
[ Inside the black blob]
Iruka floats in boundless abyss of darkness. Turning over in his mind are past memories off all the times he’s been thrown in the Dark Room. All the beatings he took as a small child from Saya, the pain of being alone. A hazy image appears before Iruka.
Iruka: “ Mother….”
???: “This is all your fault!”
Iruka: “What?”
???: “It’s your fault! You deserve to die!”
Iruka: “Mother don’t say that please! It’s not my fault! There was nothing I could do!”
???: “You left me to die!! [fades away]”
Iruka: “[crying] No! It’s not true! It’s not true!!”
An image of Aisu appears comforting Iruka but soon he too begins to fade away.
Iruka: “No Aisu don’t leave me! Aisu come back!!”
“[low tone] It’s not my fault…it’s not my fault….IT’S NOT MY FAULT!!! AHHH!!”
A burst of elemental energy engulfs Iruka.
[ In the lab]
Terminal: “System overload! WARNGING! System overload!”
Dr. Shigomoto: “His elemental energy is off the scale! The system can’t harness so much energy!”
Children quietly play outside, the townspeople of Yoshiro bustle through the streets and sidewalks. Without any notice the sewer lids pop off as geysers of water spew underneath them. The ground begins to shake with anger and a the earth begins to part at an unbelievable rate. The people scream in terror running for safety. The R.E.S. Headquarters soon feels the rumble from the quake.
Miho: “An earthquake!?”
Izumi: “But how!? We never get earthquakes!”
Dr. Shigomoto: “It’s the boy! He’s the one causing it!”
The fiber glass sphere that imprisoned Iruka begins to crack. The earth continues to part as it leaves town and heads towards R.E.S. Headquarters. Striking the facility large spears of clay erupt from the ground as the building splits into two and begins to collapse.
Izumi: “We are all going to die!!”
Aisu is engulfed in a bright light and vanishes as the half of the building crashes into the ground. Aisu re-appears on the rocks that form an island in Meiro Lake.
Aisu: “Meiro Lake? But how? WHERE’S IRUKA!?”
A sphere of light appears in the sky and from it emerges Iruka crashing into the lake. Aisu jumps into the water and brings Iruka back to the rock isle.
Aisu: “[shaking Iruka] Iruka? Iruka wake up!”
Iruka: “ [wakes up] Aisu?”
Aisu: “[smiles] Yes Iruka?”
Iruka: “You will never leave me…right?”
Aisu: “No Iruka, I’ll always protect you and never leave your side…..I promise”
Iruka smiles warmly at Aisu and passes out.

   Finally!
YAY!! Finally I figured out chpater 7! [does a victory dance]. Taking two days off and playing a lil Chrono Cross really helped out. So today after school I shall write and write some more ^^. Well better finish getting ready for school!

   Crud...
Naeta-ku!? >< I have major writers block now. I can't seem to be able to write chapter 7. It's not coming out like how I want it to come out.I think I may be introducing the idea to early or maybe I need to brainstorm on it some more. Well hopefully by 2morrow I'll be able to write chapter 7 and start/finish chapter 8. Most likely I'll post chapter 6 either tomorrow of saturday. Well tiem to get some sleep [ I really need some sleep now. YAY ITS FRIDAY TOMORROW!!] Oh and Okami-san, I hope you'll be able to log onto AIM 2morrow. I need to ask you some questions about the story as well. Well g'night everyone. Oyasumi nasai!

   Chapter 5
Chapter 5: Imprisonment

Iruka’s head bobs up and down as the large alligator inhales and exhales. The rays of the morning sun break through treetops and illuminate the area below. Iruka awakens as the light scatters across his face, beaming into his eyes. Sitting up straight he rubs his eyes to remove his sleepiness.
Iruka: “What happened? The alligator!”
Iruka turns around and sees the large alligator sleeping soundly. No traces of the bruises or cuts that marked his blue body were nowhere to be seen.
Iruka: “He’s alright. [stomach growls]”
“[sweat drop] And I’m hungry. [stands up and begins to walk forward] I think there are some apple tre--”
Iruka trips over the alligator’s tail.
Iruka: “Uff!”
???: “Leaving already?”
Iruka: “!!!. Uh no I wasn’t planning on leaving!”
Iruka rises from the ground nervously and turns around to confront the alligator. Iruka falls back to the ground as the alligator began to rise. Standing erect, the alligator was taller than the trees around them, his belly protruded out with a expanded V shape, a few teeth overlaid his mouth, and green markings painted his body. His icy blue eyes fit his ocean blue skin and red dorsal fins.
Iruka: “[paranoid] You got to be taller than a 10 foot latter…”
???: “You sound scared”
Iruka: “Scared? I’m terrified! I didn’t expect you to be this tall or so large…”
???: “Well don’t be. [smiles] It’s not like I’m going to eat you or anything”
Iruka: “[nervously] Hahahaha….ah….”
Iruka stomach growls.
???: “[laughs] Seems that someone is hungry. Come on, I’ll take you to this place where you can get something to eat.”
Iruka: “[paranoid] Sure ok”
???: “Oh by the way, my name is Aisu. Iruka, right?”
Iruka: “Yeah”
[ Somewhere in Meiro Forest]
Aisu: “I’m pretty sure there where some apple trees around here?”
Iruka: “They’re on the other side of the lake”
Aisu: “[sweat drop] Oh that’s right. Well guess we are going to have to cross over.”
Aisu walks into the water but stops and turns around.
Aisu: “Hop on”
Iruka: “You sure?”
Aisu: “Yeah”
Iruka slowly but gradually mounts Aisu and across the lake they go.
Aisu: “Where you trying to sneak off home?”
Iruka: “I have no home..”
Aisu: “But that kid yesterday he--”
Iruka: “He’s the son of the family that adopted me”
Aisu: “So you’re an orphan?”
Iruka: “I lived with the Takabashis for nine years. They where the only family that would take me in when I came to Yoshiro. Thos were the worst years of my life.”
Aisu: “Why?”
Iruka: “Everyday I was forced to do work without any rest. I was lucky enough if they fed me. Problem is they would give me scraps left over but I only ate vegetables or fruits. I’d sneak an apple or orange here now and then.”
Aisu: “You don’t eat meat?”
Iruka: “Nope I’m a Vegan”
Aisu: “Well I’m a vegetarian myself”
Iruka: “No way! That’s a first!”
Aisu: “What is?”
Iruka: “A Repthian that is actually a vegetarian.”
“Then what do you do for protein? A gator your size needs a lot of protein”
Aisu: “Have you ever heard of Taka Roots?”
Iruka: “I think I have. Don’t they have the same proteins as meat does? Except they produce excess amounts?”
Aisu: “Yeah they do. Well I generally eat that instead so don’t worry about me eating you [laughs]”
Iruka: “[laughs] I got to try that”
Aisu: “They taste and smell like meat too when you boil them.”
Iruka: “Hey maybe you can move up to Vegan if you gave it a try”
Aisu: “Yeah, I’ll give it a shot”
They arrive on the other side of Lake Meiro. Iruka slides off Aisu’s back and walks up to an apple tree. Dangling from it’s branches, the red juicy apples became tempting.
Iruka: “Now if there was some way to get up there?”
Aisu slips his head between Iruka’s legs and hoists him up to the tree branch with the delicious apples.
Iruka: “Whoa..”
After eating a couple of apples, Iruka rests against Aisu’s side while Aisu finishes gulping down his last apple.
Aisu: “Can I ask you a question?”
Iruka: “What is it?”
Aisu: “If you live with a foster family, mind if I asked….what happened to your parents?”
Iruka: “[sudden change in tone] My parents….died….“
Aisu: “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to upset you….”
Iruka: “They died because of me….it’s my fault that….[chokes up]”
Aisu: “Iruka….”
Iruka: “[his eyes focus on the water]
The night was beautiful. There was a full moon and the stars where shining their brightest. I couldn’t fall asleep at the time when it all happened. Then I saw a bright red and orange glow dancing on my bedroom wall. The glow seemed to emit outside my window. I was curious to see what was generating those auras of beauty. I thought it was my parents coming back from a dinner they where invited to, swinging their lanterns around. So I peered out my window and a blazing fire began to slowing set ablaze around my home. I was so scared that I just hid under my covers hoping it was just a bad dream.
Then I heard a loud “BOOM!” from the living room. I began to cry silently and wished that my parents would be home. All I heard was furniture shattering and the air becoming warmer and thinner. Soon I heard a familiar voice at my door. It was my father, “Iruka!! Iruka are you there son!!”
I flung from my covers and ran to the door. I tried turning the doorknob but it was stuck.
“I can’t open the door daddy!”
“Step away from the door Iruka!”
My father rammed into the door and sent it flying across the bedroom slamming into the wall. My mother then entered the room which rapidly filled with black smoke.
“Oh my little baby! [While hugging him] I thought I lost you!”
“Come on dear! We need to leave quickly before the whole house caves in!!”
We ran out of my room, I was clinging tightly to my mother’s hand. The house was screaming in pain as the fire ate away. I could hear some of the rooms collapsing in and others the door just flew across as the flames began to devour the sweet delicious wood.
We where almost out. The door was wide open, the wind carrying in the sounds of the villagers screaming and crying. We where about to embrace the outside world, when the door shut. The purity of the air was cut off.
Iruka’s Father: “What the..!?”
Iruka’s Mother: “What are we going to do dear!”
Iruka’s Father: “I…I don’t know….”
My father was beginning to panic and my mother began to weep. I was too scared to join my mother and I was to weak to help my father. I wanted to do something but for my age…there wasn’t anything I could do but just watch them. The living room roof collapsed from the fire but something was standing within the fiery ashes. A large monstrosity was standing before us. The entire body was made of flames. The eyes a bright glowing yellow.
Iruka’s Mother: “It…it can’t be!?”
Iruka’s Father: “No….”
???: “At last I have found you!”
“The one that is suppose to be the savior of this forsaken land.”
“I must…..kill you before your powers awaken!!!”
Iruka: “What is he talking about mommy!!”
Iruka’s Mother: “[kneels down to Iruka] Listen to me Iruka. We love you very much and we want to live a happy life. I want you to run…[begins to cry] run as fast as you can from here..”
Iruka: “No mommy! I won’t leave you and daddy behind!!”
Iruka’s Mother: “Just run Iruka!!”
Iruka’s Father: “Just do what your mother is saying Iruka. You have to live! You may be to little to understand but you are special. The time will come when your--”
The monster begins to slowly approach. Iruka’s mother clasps Iruka close to her in fright. Iruka’s father jumps in front of them.
Iruka’s Father: “If you will have to go through me!!”
???: “Hah! You think you can stop me!? Foolish imbecile!”
A explosion of fire engulfed my father before me. When the smoke cleared he was gone. My mother cried loudly, shouting his name him. The monster approached closer and closer. My mother searched for a way out and quickly she then grabbed me and darted down the hall again. The monster began to chase after us, slowly gaining speed. My mother ran and ran turning here and there until we reached the bathroom. For some reason the flames have not reached this part of our home. Me and my mother began to cry as the monster came closer and closer.
She glanced up and saw the bathroom window was big enough for me to fit through. She lifted me up and kissed my cheek on last time and said, “Never forget who you are and fight in what you believe in.” She then lifted me up to the window just when the monster entered the room. I stumbled out and landed on the warm earth below. I then got up and called out to my mother, “ Mommy! Mommy!! Come on mommy you can make it!!!”
I didn’t hear her respond.
“Mommy!!” I cried out one last time. Then monster’s fiery eyes gleamed at me through the window and released a horrible shriek. I jumped back and that’s when I knew my mother was dead, along with my father. A group of villagers came in and took me away when the monster burst through the wall. Another group of villagers came in and began to cast elemental magic on the beast but with one giant sweep of his arm, they were all eradicated. As the monster came closer more of the villagers rushed in, trying to destroy the beast. One by one each man and women fell. I was the only one left standing before it. My legs frozen to the ground by fright, the beast moved in to the kill. Out of no where a huge blue dragon came from the sky. (He shared similar characteristics like you except he was completely blue). He began to fight the beast with minor difficulty.
Dragon: “Run Iruka! Run as far away as you can!!”
How he knew my name I have no clue. I know that he was able to stall long enough for me to run. I heard his distant cries even….when he was killed.”
Iruka: “Now you know my past….I nothing but a mere problem. My parents, the lives of the villagers and the life of the dragon was lost that day because of me….[begins to cry] and yet that is all I remember. Plagued by nightmares of this memory…I want it all to go away!”
Aisu: “Don’t be so hard on yourself. Their death did not go in vain, you are still alive. You should be happy about that.”
Iruka: “I never felt happiness nor love but for some strange reason…being here with you. You being near me, my unhappiness goes away. I know this may sound strange but…it feels like I have known you before..”
Aisu: “To tell you the truth….I feel the same way.”
Iruka: “May--”
Caskets full of gas drop from the tree tops. Iruka and Aisu are blinded by the smoke and begin to cough violently.
Aisu: “What’s going on?”
Iruka: “Aisu help!!”
Aisu: “What? Where are you!”
As Aisu searches for Iruka, a large net falls over him and emits a powerful shock, rendering him unconscious. Aisu’s body is loaded into a black van and Iruka is thrown in with him, tied by his hands and feet and blindfolded. The morning light disappears as the doors close.
Officer: “[his face covered by a black gas mask] Targets captured! Now brining back to headquarters. [car doors closing in background]”
Microphone: “Excellent! I shall await your arrival.”
Officer: “Yes Dr. Shigomoto”

   Nani?
Today's been a really "eh" day. Nothing really exciting today really, just another normal day at school with HOMEWORK x.X. Well most of my assingments aren't due till the day after tomorrow anyways. Chapter 5 and Chapter 6 were done during the weekend. I'll probably start/end Chapter 7 today after cleaning out my backpack. ^^;; It weighs 22 lbs!? Must be all the paper I carry with me that I forget to organize or throw out. Well I'll be online for the rest of the day until probably 9:30 or 10:00 P.M. (PST).
