An old story
Well, I know I haven't posted in a bit. So to make up for it, I thought I would post an old story I have been working on for a long time. I still haven't finished. I like taking my time. lol Before you go critizing it, just know it is unfinished and yes I know the ending needs work. Still I thought most of you would enjoy the read. ^^

Author’s note: This prologue isn’t going to be a long drawn out one. It is rather short, sweet, and to the point. This prologue tells some of how Felicia was created. I may do a sequel to this story, and then I may not. Also, this story isn’t going to be very long. Not to mention I am making this sort of a cross over between 3 of the series of Zoids and the gameboy advance game called Zoids Legacy.

Disclaimer: I don’t own anything that has to do with Zoids, but I do own Felicia… she is my OC so no stealing!

This saga starts out in a small underground lab out in the middle of nowhere. Perfect place for mad scientists and their creations don’t you think? ~you hear bitter laughter~ Yes I think so as well. My name is Felicia and I am a human type Organoid created for the sole purpose of the Terrageist. My birth came about when the past and future collided creating a new planet Zi so to speak. Am I evil like my creators? I would not know. I am still looking for that answer. ~you hear sighing~ Yet, I am getting ahead of myself aren’t I? ~you hear soft laughter~ So I guess I should start at the beginning and go from there. Well, here is my story… or at least the first page of my saga…

~*~

Bubbles continued to flow and pop within a fairly large containment tube. Slowly, ever so slowly, voices around the containment tube start to blur in. The creature within the tube slightly hears them and its eyes twitch. Thinking to its self ‘who are they and why do I hear voices and I also wonder what I am ’. Then she hears one of them speak:

“Her name is Felicia.” One man says. “Or should I say the project is called F.E.L.I.C.I.A.”

Another one spoke, but with more authority in his voice, “What does it stand for?”

Before the Doctor could respond a siren goes off. The lights go dim and a red light starts to flash ominously. The voices Felicia heard started to get rushed and excited. To fast for her to comprehend what was going on or what was being said. The faint sound of a military marching in grabs everyone’s attention. Then gunfire and bombs are heard as people scream before dieing. Soon backfire and large cannon guns are fired at the approaching military force.

Not knowing what she was feeling. The small Organoid only knew that her heart began to race faster and faster as the voices became more excited. Then some old memory popped into her head and at once she knew what she was feeling. FEAR. Felicia tried desperately to wake up and get out of there. Yet, she could not and began to panic. So frightened of what was going on around her Felicia tried to scream anything to get someone’s attention in order to get her out of there. She didn’t understand what was going on. Why everyone was so excited and afraid. The small Organoid wanted to cry for daddy or mommy, but she didn’t know why. Her heart rate picked up more and more. Harder and harder it pumped. She felt like it would explode from the fear she was feeling.

“Doctor! Felicia! She is…”

A blood-curdling scream was heard as one of the Doctor’s assistants was murdered. With that scream the enemy military burst in through the door. Every person in that room freezes in fear at the site of guns pointed at them. The main Doctor looked around frantic. Felicia could feel his fear and his worry. Then she heard the voice of one of the Doctor’s assistants yelling at the military.

“You all are not supposed to be in here! What is the meaning of this! We have the rights and funding for this project!”

One of the assistants yelled. The sound of a M-16 ripped the air as the man screamed and fell with a sickening thud. Then a harsh and unforgiving voice tore through the air when the gunman stopped shooting.

“Not any more. The King has pulled this project.”

“What do you mean?” the Doctor asked a little frightened. “We have direct orders from the King. Why is he pulling the plug?”

“This is none of your concern and you would do well to hush. Unless of course you wish to join your friends over there.”

“You murderer. How can the King have such a vile thing like you on his side!”

Laughing bitterly the evil sounding man lifted a handgun and pointed it at the Doctor.

“Because you Terrageist scum I am the only thing that is keeping you and your group from ‘bringing down’ the monarchy. I know what you plan to do. One of the little assistants has all ready come to the court and told us of your dirty little secrets. Since I am the best man for the job and the best assassin I was sent to end your little project.”

Grinning with silent excitement the assassin barked an order and Felicia heard rapid footsteps. In burst another person. Right off she could tell it was male. A young male and from what she could sense a very nervous gullible one.

“Doctor is that one of their abominations over there in that containment tube? If so see if you can get rid of it while I hold these hounds at bay.”

“Yes General Proitzen. It won’t be take but a moment.”

The Doctor looked frantic. She could feel it. She knew he was about to do something drastic to save her life. Felicia wanted to scream no, but could not. As far back as she could remember the Doctor had been kind to her. Treating her like a daughter. The small female Organoid all ready mourned his passing. For she knew he was going to die. This broke her heart… if she had one.

“NO!”

Jumping to the console the Doctor quickly pushed the cancel override button in order to save Felicia. He knew it would keep her alive even if it meant sacrificing his own life. For he truly did care for Felicia and thought of her as his daughter even if he didn’t have one of his own. The General quickly squeezed the trigger of the handgun several times shooting the Doctor. Before he died the Doctor spoke softly.

“Your safe…” the Doctor coughed and died.

Sadness filled her still rapidly beating heart. The tiny Organoid never knew such pain. She knew it was due to the fact some small part of her was still human or at least she hoped that was the case. Goodbye dear Doctor, I love you if such a thing like me can love. She said the quietly in her mind knowing the Doctor couldn’t hear, but some how it made her feel less sad. With that Felicia awaited her fate. Feeling anger welling up inside her, she wanted so desperately to destroy that which destroyed who she loved.

The young Organoid never felt such rage. The emotion filled her to the brim. Now her heart beat in excitement. She was slowly awakening. Wanting to destroy her poor Doctor’s murderer. The desire to kill was so strong. Before she could fully awaken she hard that weak man’s voice, that pathetic excuse of a doctor.

“No one touch anything until I figure out how to over ride what he did.”

There was rustling of papers and tearing sounds floating through the air. The fool of a doctor stood there frozen for a minute and nervously cleared his throat and spoke.

“General Proitzen what are they doing? I thought we weren’t going to destroy anything? Please I beg you until I know for sure she is evil and…”

Pausing in what he was saying the young doctor looked over at Felicia with wary eyes. He began to shake at what he saw. The human Organoid eyes twitched slightly as they finally popped open. The doctor gave a surprised yelp and began to sweat. Felicia’s eyes glowed red for a moment before turning into one blue eye and one black eye. The young fool spoke softly.

“Demon eyes…”

The young gullible fool said as he stared at her. Quickly regaining his composure the doctor frantically tried to find a way to destroy her. Not moving fast enough Proitzen speaks to him.

“What is taking so long you fool! Why can’t you destroy her?”

“I … don’t know. The Doctor must have hit some button to keep this project from ever being destroyed. All I can do is make her sleep.”

“For how long?”

Yes indeed for how long. Felicia silently spoke to her self. Trying desperately to get movement back into her limbs. She felt so much anger… such rage. All she wanted was blood. Blood everywhere. A small part of her was appalled at her thoughts, but another part felt the excitement and thrill of the thought. The fool spoke again.

“I… don’t know.”

“What do you mean you don’t know? Your pathetic… useless… absolutely useless to me. I orta…”

“Wait! Don’t kill me! Please I beg you. I can make her sleep for years. For centuries if I must. I just don’t know how long the cerium that is contained in the tube will last.”

“Well, that is more like it. Now then see to it while I step outside. Oh by the way doctor. You have exactly ten minutes to get her to sleep or you will be buried along with her in this place.”

Smiling to himself Proitzen slowly walked out of the room and motioned for his military to follow. Within minutes the young doctor found the right papers that told how to make Felicia stay in a dormant sleep. A sleep that would keep her alive, but also keeps her from appearing alive or awake. The button combination was complicated and time consuming, but he had to try. Since he had only five more minutes to get it done and out of there.

Quickly pressing and pushing buttons in sequence the doctor sweated as he tried to beat the clock. Finally putting in the last combo the doctor quickly grabbed what was left of the project papers and ran out of the room. Slowly the small Organoid fell into a deep sleep. Before completely fading away she heard voices. The voices got very muffled as she slowly fades into a deep sleep, but the last thing she hears before she falls in a deep sleep is:

“It is all i can do… for now Proitzen... the ... this monstrosity is to far in development for me to destroy… all i could do is make it sleep and pray no one finds it until I find a way to destroy it. This project of theirs is very complicated and brilliant. So it will take time to find a way to destroy it, but I will of course.”

Proitzen speaks... “What is it for sure doctor? I have only heard vague rumors of these abominations.”

The doc tells Proitzen “A new breed of Organoid... one far more powerful than the others...”

The young doctor’s voice fades off and the last thought Felicia has is what ... is ... Organoid...?

Proitzen and the doctor leave the underground lab. Once on the surface Proitzen gave the order to bury it. The doctor tries to talk him out of it, but two flight Zoids fire their cannons. Feeling the earth tremble as a near by cliff is blasted down upon the lab burying its secret inside for all-time, the doctor looked sadden at the scene.

Proitzen spoke harshly to the doctor. “That will make sure that monster will never surface again. I hope it dies. This planet does not need such genetic screw-ups as that. Besides that should hold her for all-time. There is enough rock there to keep a two Ligers buried for years.”

Or so he thought…
