Why vote, or comment? MY RANT
I've noticed since I started posting my pictures that people just vote and in my case most of thoughs votes are that people don't like my pics. One thing about having the chance to comment isn't just to say that you like a persons art work, it also gives people a chance to say what they like and don't like about a picture. Like giving feedback on how to help improve one's work helps the artist know what changes to their style of drawing just a little bit of "Tweeking" will do, so that it helps others enjoy the picture more overall. Sure its nice to go through your pics and see all the 'nice' things people have to say, and hey that may just be what some people want. But thats not always the case, for me I don't always like negative feedback but eh, it helps me see what I'm doing wrong and where I can make "tweeks" to get better!! Everyday and every picture I draw and post on the internet I get interseting comments some say like 'hey this pic is cool' or grrr "You draw like a five year old"( Actual Quote). I can't ever guess what people are going to say about my work but I know every new thing I hear/read/see all help my work. And well I'm at it, people shouldn't judge a persons work on just one picture, they should take a look at all of one's work to make an assumption. Just because one pic doesn't come out as well as the rest of an artists collection doesn't mean 'blah they all suck' I hate that some people are so to quick to judge. Everyones at a diffrent skill level so what the artist may think is one of their best pictures ever, not everyone in computer land may agree. Remember 'Don't judge a book by its cover' everyone is diffrent so get over it people!!!
