Gah, it looks just like me right now!

Alright, today was the last actual academic day of school!!! *confetti* I should be happy, right?!

WRONG!

Although I'll go through my day before I get to that stuff.
-----------------------------------
I woke up... felt kinda shitty, but I had to go to school... so I did...

We watched the rest of Finding Nemo today in science, because we have been for the past few days... it is supposed to have something to deal with Oceanography, but I think that's just an excuse, because there's no real connection.
Watched video clips pertaining to slavery and stuff because that's what we're learning about in History and had small discussions. It was really weird... Because that one guy got half of his foot chopped off just because he tried to run away... TT____TT it was saddening... I'm glad I have my feet *hugs feet*.
Study hell...hall...sorry, it's study hall, typo....
Was kinda fun, but I got pulled to talk to the Guidence Consular... which was kinda weird, because I don't like to talk to people. Talked about crap... yay.
Language Arts... we looked at our writing folders, which go back to 1st grade or whatever... and I'm REALLY glad my writing skills have improved since then. I spelled because "bekas" in one of the papers. Then there was a picture I drew in Kindergarten... man, that was priceless, it was SOOOOOOOOO bad. Teacher talked to me, blah blah, he wasn't mad or anything, he just said I was one of the 8th graders who actually realized that "Wow, the grades don't actually matter in Middle School!!" so that was cool, he said his opinion of me didn't change or anything, and I don't have to turn the stuff in because he has no problem giving me a bad grade. YAY!!!
Band... we played Ironman because that's what the marching band is playing at a show this week or something, and it was haaaard... and I wasn't even marching! I would've busted my lip or something if I tried to march and play that song. Weird stuff... tomorrow my squad leader is coming to my house to give me my calendar and music... Mr. Graham said he just picked them out today, and if they don't meet each of their 3 squad members they don't get to be a squad leader. for those who don't know, I'll give you an example of the heirarchy. (pointless, skip over if you feel like it!)

Note: if you are on a position of the heirarchy, you cannot be any other. i.e. a section leader is also a member of a squad, but not the squad leader. the senior section leader is that and the member of the squad, but not a squad leader or section leader. Sometimes it doesn't make sense, but it works!

Senior section leader... (name questionable, I'm not sure what the term is for them...)highest dude/dudete, cool person, organizes practices and junk, fun!! There are usually two of them (the band is a lot of peoples, ya know). In charge of informing section leaders and directors of practices and stuff; so they're really in charge of the whole band, right next to the directors in power. As the name states, only seniors are eligable for this position... and they're in front of everyone else. WOW, dual purpose!
l
Section leaders, one for each section of the band (trumpets, saxaphones, tubas, drum line, etc.) Probably about ten of them, don't care to count. Which would mean the Cool people, in charge of the squad leaders of their section and informing them of stuff the senior section leader(s) told them. Depending on size of section, in charge of anywhere from 20-40 people, so that means they have to talk to about 6-12 squad leaders!! Seniors AND juniors eligable for this position!
l
Squad leaders, coolish people, in charge of three people, tell them what the section leaders told them... if that makes any sense. Juniors and seniors eligable. Formations practiced in groups of four, so these are the people you move around with, then it gets all pieced together in the big rehersals. (Music is practiced in the band room together, then you work on the formations on the field)
l
Members of the squad: Everyone, bottom of the food chain, seniors, juniors, sophmores, and freshmen. Yay! Not much to explain....

Yah, I know that was boring but deal with it...

Blah blah, rest of day was just hangin' out and doing nothing! YAY! I don't really want to go to school tomorrow, because I'd rather mope around the house (for future explained reasons) but I paid $5.50 for the stuff that we're doing and my friends say I have a chance of getting an award!

Awards: Each teacher gives out 2 to 2 students in any of their clases that demonstrated something "special" whatever you wanna call that.... I think I could possibly get one for band, because I so totally rock... wewt! That happens tomorrow in the afternoon.
-----------------------------------
Other news...
Waaaa, really sad now that Nick's gone... although I think it's mostly mental... there was this one time a few months ago where I didn't talk to him for a week because of bad timing, and I didn't feel half as distressed as I do right now. Well, this is my reason for moping, and why I don't feel like doing anything. I'll probably be able to get over it eventually, but I'll just try to sit on it for now so I don't feel so bad about it!... *spaz* oooookay, that might not work.... Ugh, it's hard to habitually talk to someone for so long and then have it suddenly stop.

Take care dudes!!!

P.S. I'm probably not going to post for the rest of the week, just because of complications/summer... hmm, other new news... I'm probably going to a lake where my Mom's part of the club that owns it on the weekend. It will be the perfect time to even out my tan, thank god! I have three different tan lines on my arm because of different types of T-shirts that I've worn. There's not-tan, slightly tan, tan, and more tan. I think skin tans so that the paler it is, the faster it tans... exponentially or something, look it up if you can't remember algebra that well... so it should work... oh well, I'll tell you guys some of the results A.S.A.P.

... how should I know?
