She agreed with me that it needed some work! *laugh*), and um...the congratulations on whatnot. Also, I see that a lot of you have a similar problem with your dad about Mother's day! I suppose they just act that way. I'll talk more about that later. As for prom, yeah, thanks for the encouragement there, too. *takes deep breath* SO....today is prom...*takes another* I'm nervous!!!!!!!!! >< Even though prom is, like, 10 hours from now...at 8pm...but still!! I've been worrying about it all morning! In my dreams, too!! I'm not worrying about how I'll look or get dressed, I'm just worried about the overall thing...how social it is, and how I probably won't be able to find my friends! And if I do, I'll probably be left out anyway...jeez, my heart has been beating really fast. ^^;;; Is this ridiculous or what? I should be excited about it, not nervously scared! But this whole thing has been nothing but trouble for me anyway; I can't wait for it to be over!! Sounds stupid and the opposite of what normal people would think, but yeah...ugh!! I just hope that it'll be alright. I got out my jewelry that I plan on wearing...thank goodness for my love of the combo of black and red! And red stones like garnet! And thank goodness for my Hitomi pendant (the pendant Hitomi wears from Escaflowne; it's for "cosplay" purposes, but I don't cosplay!), which is also a matching red. So, yeah, obviously my dress is a red! A dark red. *nods*
Oh...if only I didn't have to go alone!!! ><
Anyhoo, off of that subject for now...I shall talk about yesterday. It ended up that dad DID pick me up after school so we could go shopping for Mom. We went to the mall, and wow, she got a lot of stuff. After getting a snack, we went to borders, and got her three books (suspense thriller ones/murder mysteries; she loves those); then I said that we should go to Hot Topic. Of course I wanted a lot of stuff there...but I had to refrain...anyhoo, we got her a cute top from there that I hope fits her. *nods* We always have to as for the smallest size of anything since my mom is tiny! ^^; Yeah, so I somehow managed to get out of there with nothing for myself except for these cute hair clips that are red bows (to go with my dress). Then we went to the music store, but all the CDs were TOO much money...then...to the GAP, where we got her another cute shirt. After that was Hallmark to get cards (I'll make her one, but maybe no elaborate poem) and a cute little bear (well, one for her...and one for me, hehe). ^_^ So, as you can see...it's going to be like a mini-Christmas for my mom!
When I got home, I went on the computer, did some visiting, and made another new wallpaper. I think it's better than my last one. *nods* Please download/comment!! Hosted By theOtaku.com.
Thank you!!! So anyhoo, today will probably be a nothing day until later...when I gotta get ready for prom. ^^; I'm going to have my mom paint my nails and attempt to do something with my hair. I'm not bothering with going to some salon...that would be a waste. *crosses fingers* I just hope that it goes well!!!!!!! >< As long as I find some of my friends, then I should be ok...I hope...
