I have to say thanks a ton to all of you. ^__^ Thanks so much for putting up with my long-arse posts that are now in small font. ^^; I still think the small font looks good...some people just might have to copy and paste to read it if their resolution is higher! Anyhoo, thanks for all of the comments/sympathies/etc. about my prom experience. I wish you guys were there. ^^ Then it would've been soooo much fun!! Linds, thanks for your compliment again, and I'm sorry that I didn't say bye to ya. Ali-chan, you cried?? Really? Well, there was no need, but I suppose I should thank you for that. *hugs* Darkeangel, I'm happy to have you as a friend now!! ^_^ To everyone that apologized for not visiting me the other day or not being able to read all of my post yesterday, it's ok! I'll try to make this post shorter. *nods* It most definitley will be shorter than yesterday's because I don't have a whole prom to complain about. *laugh* I'm currently in my 5th period campus (free period), in the library. Before this, I had computer animation, and I brought in my Marimite soundtracks to use for the bg music in my animation....I really didn't do anything else, but I just don't feel like it. I dont' know how to do anything, and it's getting towards the end of the year...I have no drive. ^^; Anyhoo, before that was philosophy, and he gave us an assignment. We have to do something (essay, poem, video, song, etc.) that relates to an ethical issue and whether you think it's ethical/moral or not. Then you have to use these principles to prove it...or something. I don't know. ^^; I think I'm going to do a poem, and it'll be on homosexuality (my side being that I think it's fine; you don't have to agree with me of course. ^^; ). I had gourmet 2 first period, and we made the batter for peanutbutter cookies that will be baked for the Spring Arts festival. So, yes, so far today is just average.
I shall talk just a bit more about prom stuff...Narret said she had a lot of fun, which is great. ^_^ She even complimented how I looked, which is quite sweet of her. Anyhoo, so I was looking on the school site yesterday, and they had up the arrival photos. ^^;;;;; So I shall give you the link to the page where she, Ben, and I are. So click here if you want to see them...first picture on the left; I'm the not-so-pretty one in red. ^^;;;;;; Narret is in blue, and Ben is obviously the guy. Narret and I could be sisters, don't you think? *laugh* I just find it funny that we look pretty similar...except that she's several inches taller than me. That's not a good picture of me, so whenever my dad gets his pics on the computer, I'll show you the ones before I left for prom...and one of them isn't that bad actually.
Yesterday, well, yesterday was Mother's day. We went to church, and the sermon was atrocious. It was about taking care of your aging parents, and how the older generation (our parents) should be thinking about their parents and their own plans for death. ^^; Yeah, really happy topic there..."For some of you, mother's day and father's day is a very painful time..." Yeah...nice way to start it out. *laugh* Then, like I said, he said things like, "You, as children [to the middle-aged people] have a duty to take care of your parents in the last years, and you must also plan for your death so that you don't burden your children." I'm sorry, but this wasn't a good choice for a sermon on Mother's day. *laugh* Anyhoo, after that, we had lunch, and then went home. Some time later, I made a new wallpaper (requested by ulterego333), and then Mom opened her presents. ^_^ She loved them all of course, and dad even got her a video camera! We've never had a camcorder before. ^^; So, yeah, awesome. She was very happy!!

Tomorrow shall be great! You know why? I have off from school! We dont' have school tomorrow, and you know what makes it even better???? Corey is going with Dad on a fishing trip for 3 days!! ^__^ Woot!!!! 3 days of freedom without those men! Haha! Mom says we'll probably go to the mall or something tomorrow. *nods*

The anime is Air. ^^ It focuses on Haruka's relationship with Misuzu, which is very apropos to Mother's day! Speaking of which, I made Mom a card, with a poem and all, and I used a pic of those two together. Misuzu hugging her. ^__^ It was very sweet.
