Yes, I shall try and keep this short...I'm home right now. ^^; I didn't get any time during the school day to post like I usually do. Here's why! We had our annual awards assembly for the seniors (that's me~) that lasts about 2 hours. *laugh* It was always such a chore...and SOOO BORING in the previous years when we had to watch it, but it wasn't that bad this time! This time when we're actually sitting in the seats in the center...getting called. Well, the preparation wasn't that bad. We all had to put on our caps and gowns. ^^;; (horrible looking) I had a tough time having the cap stay on my head! *laugh* Anyhoo, so we walked in (to Star Wars music, which we also exited to) and sat down. Parents were in the bleachers, along with the whole rest of the school. I didn't think my parents were coming...so I kept telling my friends that they weren't. Well, I was wrong. ^^; Only at the very end did I finally notice them! Mom was waving to me, and Dad was video-taping. ^^;;; I was quite surprised to see them because I had no idea they were coming.
After many scholarships (that I didn't apply for...) and awards, they finally got to the Family and consumer sciences awards...hehe! I ended up getting the culinary award. Yup. For cooking!! My friend Alyssa also go it. ^_^ She's going to the Cooking School downtown for college, which is totally awesome so of course she deserves this award. When they called my name, I was so happy!! I really wanted to cry, too. ^^; Then again, i wanted to cry all the other times when one of my good friends (like Narret) got an award or when one of the speakers was giving a really touching story...it's just soooo sweet...and/or sad...and/or happy. So, yeah, I got a plaque with my name on it and "Culinary Award", and I got an adorable apron (Mrs.Bakken picked it out! I love it!!) and pot holders (oh yeah~, pot holders. They look like a duck.). *laugh* I'm happy with them! I wish I got other awards though. They didn't give any for GPA...which they should've. ^^; My average is OVER a 4.0!
Anyhoo, so other things today...I brought home my pajamas that I made and all of my art-related things. I brought home my wolfie sculpture so later I'll take a pic so I can finally show you all, and I'll do the same with my pendant. Nothing else really occurred so I'll move onto yesterday...
Yesterday has escaped me. I don't remember it at all. I was semi-depressed so yeah. I did make a new wallpaper though...and I was SO PROUD of it...but what sucks is that I barely got any downloads. ^^; I thought I'd get a ton! It looks so professional and all...and I worked really hard on it...booo....*sigh* Oh well, as long as I like it, right? ^^; Please download/comment if you want! Hosted By theOtaku.com.
I'm currently feeling sick to my stomach for some reason...and my head still sorta hurts. Oh, that's right...yesterday also sucked because I had a horrendous headache!! >< My head throbbed, and it was just miserable. I was also quite stuffed up and couldn't breathe. Today I can breathe better, but my head still hurts, I feel like throwing up (probably cause of the head), and my heart palpitations have been quite frequent today. I'm also feeling a tad bit down...so hopefully this weekend is good. It's a 3-day weekend, so yay! And next week is my last week!
