*huggles* Thanks sooo much for the comments, you guys! ^_^ I loved reading them all. This morning I'm taking it easy and just posting slowly, taking my time...because I can! Hah! Anyhoo, thanks again for all the comments. Kaisap, no lie! It really was that hot a few days ago. We've been having really weird hot and humid weather in October...now it's much cooler, but it'll still be warm for usual. Alex, yes! *hugs* Of course I appreciate your comments; they're always very helpful and encouraging. ^_^ Hehe, plus you're the only one that has more than one person help me in your comment (Megumi, Misuzu). *nods* So thanks again! Was that longer than usual? I'm not sure, but I could've probably gone on longer! What with all the wonderful comments I get. But anyhoo...as I said, I'm taking it easy this morning. Mom just left with Corey to go to the chiropractor so they'll be gone for a while. Oh! And yeah, I don't have school today. ^_^ My grandparents are still here, and I'm sure grandpa is waiting for me to come downstairs and have some of that "big breakfast"...but I'm going to post first! I have Totoro (my dog) here by my feet on the bed...and he's sleeping. *laugh* For once, he's behaving for me! As for my sleep, it was ok, but again...not good dreams. Yeah, Gi-chan, I can somehow remember my dreams. ^^;; It's probably because I'm such a light-sleeper. I wake up a lot...and I just really can remember and picture my dreams. I won't talk about them this time though; they weren't that weird/different. It was very chilly though so that made it hard to sleep! *shivers* It's windy outside, too...
Ok, well, I guess I'll just talk about yesterday. After I posted, I braved the rain (though I love the rain!) to go to the "snack bar" to eat my lunch (more like a snack). I just listened to my music and ate; then my friend from French class came with one of her friends, who happened to be the roommate of Najah (the girl I tutored before). She's the one with the Johnny Depp obsession. XD We talked for a bit, and then I had to go to my fashion marketing class. A lot of you aren't familiar with such a class...well, it's the first class for those that want to major in fashion marketing, whether it be in buying, selling, retailing, construction (making clothes), or designing (what I want to do). So we did that group thing that I talked a bit about before. My "inspirational" items were just two pictures I printed out online. One was this pic of a "blue sky", which looks more like a painting or something, and then the other was this pic of a black bird on a fence. I thought they'd be really cool to base designs off of. So me and my partner just had to look through magazines and find pictures of apparel that would represent our designs and color schemes. The color schemes (color "stories" they're called) were based off of my pics: blues, black, yellows, gold.
I didn't really like that assignment. It was a bit of a pain, and my partner didn't help too much. ^^; We didn't know exactly what to do...but we present that next class. At the end of class, our teacher asked us how we like "college life" and whatnot. Well, I was totally opposite of the other girls. XD They all live in the dorms, and they were complaining, "It's too strict here! There are too many rules! You can't do anything. Like, you can't even have your boyfriend stay over the weekend in your dorm. And when I sit outside at 11pm, it's totally DEAD--no partying, no noise, no nothing. It's not like that at all at other colleges." -___-;; Hmm...I wonder why they have such rules??? I WONDER what you and your boyfriend are going to do in YOUR dorm. Ugh. So yeah, I didn't chime in, but my opinion wasn't the same as theirs. XD Sure, I don't have a boyfriend, and I also commute (don't live in the dorms), but eh...I think the rules are just fine! It IS a Catholic university, too. (I'm not Catholic though; you don't have to be to attend.)
So after that I went to the writing center to have that writing conference about my essay. The girl that helped me was a real help! She gave me lots of good ideas and things to add/change. My English teacher was there, too, helping another girl. XD So she knew I came and even added some of her own input. She complimented my writing and said maybe I should become a writing assistant in the future! Anyhoo, so I have that paper to revise majorly! It's due on monday. *nods* After that, I went home...nothing interesting until later; we went out to eat. Before leaving though, something good actually happened with my grandma. I don't know still if she knew who I was, but she complimented my singing! ^__^ I was singing to Pink's "Who Knew" because it came on the radio, and grandma turned around and said, "You have a really pretty voice!" T___T Aww, that was just so sweet! It meant so much to me especially since she wasn't able to form ANY complete sentences yesterday...except that. *made me happy* So anyhoo, we went out to eat...all of us, even Derek and his girlfriend Susan. XD A family of 8! Well, the dinner ended up sucking though. Everyone's food was horrible!! We never get good food out at restaurants! Bleh! And it was just really awkward with Susan there...she's sweet, nice, and cute, but she's so darn ditzy. ^^;; It gets annoying!
Sorry, this is taking forever, isn't it? Is it really long??? ^^;; I'm even leaving out details I could talk about! Oh well. So today, like I said, I have off! I don't know if I'll have to "babysit" my grandparents though...so who knows if I'll get to visit much.
