Boy, it's seemed like forever since I last posted...though it hasn't really...^^; But I guess it's like that because I've gotten comments from people on my last post over the course of 3 days! Today, yesterday, and the day I posted. XD Anyhoo, thanks for all the comments. Vickie-chan, Lestat, Ordinary Girl, 9breaker, and ninja lover (and new friends like teddy82 and Aki Kozu) thank you for commenting again!! It's been quite some time!! And of course thanks to everyone else that commented, too! *hugs* Well, it seems that the whole world does the daylight savings time thing now? Really?? I never even knew. ^^;; Sorry for being stupid! So most other countries have adopted it...stupid US. ^^; Anyhoo, thanks for everything; I don't have time to reply to the other details, so yeah.
I'm tired, and this sucks. Tuesdays are my days to sleep later since I only have fashion marketing and it starts at 11:35, but that never happens. -__-; I woke up around 6-7 this morning and couldn't fall back to sleep. I just laid there until 10 and now I'm posting. I couldn't breathe (yes, allergies), and I just don't know why!! *sigh* Sleeeeep. I had school-related dreams and one with Sanji (One Piece) in it. ^^;; I don't remember what the Sanji one was about, but I do remember he was in it!! I also couldn't sleep well because of my covers. I get easily pissed off at my covers when they're not aligned perfectly! >< Total OCD moment. I couldn't pull them up when I was cold, and they were lopsided, and the sheet was pulled up more than the comforter, etc. ^^; I just wasn't comfortable...oh well, you guys don't care about that stuff...*moving on*
I don't have much time to post since I did lay in bed longer...so I'll just have to type fast. I should've been in a happy/good mood yesterday from the things that happened during school. I was basically praised by all of my teachers in every class for one reason or another. I had a math test, and hopefully I did well on it (though I might've gotten one problem wrong)...then in history, the first group presentation went. Mine is in 2 weeks (the 19th), and I'm still freaking out about it. *sigh* Anyhoo, at the end of class a girl asked about what she got on our last quiz (my teacher forgot to hand them back), and she said, "17/25. Don't worry; you were there with the majority of the class." O__o So I asked what I got..."25/25. Good job; you ruined the curve!!" XD I love ruining exam curves...haha. Also during history I found out that my friend's roommate (the one that likes anime) would like to meet me sometime, and I also found out that the annoying guy (argh...gross) is friends with her and also likes anime...-___-' *sigh*
Anyhoo, then I had French. We were having 2 quizzes: a written one and an oral one about given times in French. Well, Madame handed out the grading sheets for the oral one, and she ran out! She didn't have one for me. ^^; So I asked about it, and she said, "Just look off of Allison's for now." Will you have one for me when it's my turn to go? "Yeah..." Ok. *laugh* So when it's my turn, I read out the times, asked about the grading sheet, and she says, "Perfect! See? I knew I wouldn't need a grading sheet for you; I knew you'd get them all right." XD What a compliment!! And then in English, we got back our summary, and I got a 97 (with a perfect score on mechanics/grammar, which she said is sooo rare and never happens!), and we also got back our synthesis rough drafts, and she complimented me a lot on that, too! ^_^ So, yeah, it was a good day as far as school things go...but not everything else.
You'd think I'd be in a great mood after hearing all of that, but I wasn't. My mom had to go to an endodontist (spelled wrong) to get a root canal on another one of her teeth...it was hurting so much the other day that she was crying and couldn't stand it. So she had that root canal yesterday, and it took 2 hours! I worried about her all day at school, and when I got home and saw her, she was in so much pain...and she couldn't eat anything, which is HORRIBLE. My mom NEEDS to eat...*sigh* She weighs so little...she's practically anorexic. The only meal she eats is dinner, nothing else. So, yeah, this tooth crap is making it even harder one her because she can barely eat anything (only soft foods or soups). -__-; Ugh...but...yeah...I just felt really depressed yesterday, and I guess it was mainly because of my mom. Her being helpless like this reminded me of that horrible year last year when she couldn't go downstairs at all at our old house (old friends know what I'm talking about, new friends...you have no clue...). *sigh*
But yeah, getting great grades is awesome and all, but what does it really do for me?? It doesn't mean I can succeed in life and really do anything about anything. I'm a failure AT LIFE. Argh!! Sorry...umm...I know my mom will recover soon (I hope), but I just can't help but worry and be reminded of when I was super depressed before when she was so ill. .__. Um, anyhoo, I did homework yesterday and that was it...other things happened, but I don't have enough time to write about them. So I have fashion today, and I believe we'll be starting to talk about that final project we have to do...oh joy. Later today, at 4, we're taking Totoro to the vet so hopefully they can do something about his limping...anyhoo, I gotta go so I'll just put an amv here.
