Wow, it's been "a while", hasn't it? XD I didn't post for 2 days! And for some of you, it's seemed like 3...and actually, I've been receiving comments from people for 4 days!! XD Saturday, sunday, monday, and some even got on today. Wow. I had to make that brief since I don't have a TON of time to post, just some...but eh, I'm a quick typer. XD Huh, so it's Tuesday now...I wish it were tuesday of next week. -__-; It'd be closer to Christmas break then! *rolls eyes* Between now and next wednesday, I suppose, I have soooooooo much stuff to do...stupid teachers! They always coordinate to have things due around the same time. Bah! "Crunch time"! Just cause it's the end of the semester doesn't mean that there has to be a lot of work to be done. -__- Anyhoo, I couldn't fall asleep well last night so I took a sleeping pill like the night before. I haven't taken any for a while, so it's ok. Umm...I had some odd dreams, but I don't really remember them so I'll just bypass that section! XD
Well, I suppose I'll just continue on and talk about yesterday! In case you're wondering, sunday was a nothing day...same with saturday, so it's good that I didn't post!! So yeah, yesterday was the day of my group history presentation! :O I was soooo NERVOUS about it all morning. Before school and during math class...and my mind was so focused and worried about the darn presentation that I totally forgot to bring my math book. ^^; I realized I had left it at home when we were partway there to school and mom asked something about how math was going...^^; Oops. I guess it didn't make much of a difference, but I always like looking at the examples in the book when my teacher is going over them. -__-; Cause all she uses is the book...and she always makes mistakes on the board so I constantly have to correct her. XD A couple of my friends in that class said, "You know, she's going to kill you for that!" One class, I corrected her 3 times, and the one girl said, "I thought she was going to kick you out." XD That wouldn't be right though since I'm sure my teacher doesn't want to teach the WRONG material, right? So she accepts my "oh, that number's wrong...it should be negative" etc.
Anyhoo! After math I had lunch with Madii, and I was so darn worried about my next class that I could barely eat. I had a little bit of yogurt and half of my sandwich...T__T I was afraid I'd throw up if I ate more. ^^; Um, what do you guys do when you're really nervous? Like how does your mannerisms change or personality change? Do you have nervous tics? Like for me, I go silent. I'm just so focused on thinking and worrying about whatever it is that I can't muster enough effort to speak...I also clench my fists, and of course feel sick to my stomach. ^^; So yeah, after lunch it was time...*drum roll*
All the members of my group were NOT present. Danielle (the girl that wrote the paper) wasn't there...and we needed her to bring in the citations/bibliography for the paper. T__T So now that stuff will be late. *sigh* Anyhoo, I'll just cut to the chase--it went pretty well. I was still nervous, but I get better as presentations go along...so I was even adding humor to it. Then it was the other guy's turn to speak (we split the presentation in half), and I was amazed! He actually pulled through, despite his lack of contact beforehand. He messed up a lot though, but eh. My teacher then asked us more stuff and we answered...and well, it ended up being about 40 minutes!! O__o The minimum was 15-20 minutes. *laugh* XD That was a long time! Oh, and something that happened during the presentation was that my phone went off...my friend from French class decided to CALL me. Luckily it was on vibrate, but it was in my backpack on the floor next to where my teacher was sitting. ^^; So it was really loud, and I was thinking, "Whose phone is that?? Shut up!!" And it was mine...^^;; Haha. So anyhoo, the presentation went pretty well, and now it's all out of my hands...unfortunately, this project is graded as a GROUP, and it's 50/50 for the paper and the oral part...and I don't think the paper will be good...*sigh* But at least this thing's done with.
Nothing much else happened yesterday. Alison, the girl that called me during history, called to tell me that there was NO FRENCH class. Madame was sick, so yeah. Because of that, I had a good hour or more to relax before English. I went to the library and visited some of you guys, but then was interrupted by her stream of conversation. -__- Don't you get annoyed by people that just won't shut up? They just talk and talk and talk when they KNOW you're in the middle of something! And they don't even leave room for you to say something either. So yeah, that's how it was for me. *rolls eyes* But anyhoo, then it was time for English, and that class was normal. I have the rough draft of my paper due for that class tomorrow, and I did half of it last night...have to finish that tonight. So I'm sorry if I don't visit much. :( Homework comes first unfortunately! *hugs* Sorry!!
Today my mom has to go back to the dentist...again...for like the 4th time in the past couple of weeks. Again, it's a mystery as to what they'll do. Maybe another root canal? Maybe a crown on her tooth? She doesn't know, and it's worrying her to death. Poor thing. :( I hope everything goes alright for her. Oh, and in case you were wondering, according to my brother...the job interview didn't go so well. *sigh* Darn it. HE NEEDS a job!! T__T Anyhoo, today I just have fashion marketing...the end.
