Warning: thanks, back/morning, snow/poem, yesterday, ad, & bleh
*hugs* Thank you all for the comments!!! You're all so wonderful indeed. Long time no see to Iruka sensei, filo, Insane, Aya, KD, and even more people!! No need to apologize. I totally understand; I sure have missed you guys though. Some of you have been gone much longer than others, but hey, it's fine! XD *hugs* Thanks to those that read my poem! I'm glad you liked it. I actually have another poem for you guys today, but I don't think it's as good. We shall see. Just thanks in general to everyone. :3 I don't have time to reply in detail, but you know I love you guys!
My back hurts!! It's been hurting since yesterday morning, at least. -__-; I probably slept weird the other night, and now it still is aching. I feel like an old lady. XD Cause it hurts more to bend down! "Oh, my aching back." ^^; But anyhoo, it's thursday, imagine that. This week is going by SO slowly. Ugh. When will it ever end??? This week and the last several weeks, actually, have seemed like forever. I guess it's just because I want this semester to be over with and my Christmas break to start!! T__T Too bad I still have tomorrow and next week's finals...but then, I'll be done. Yay. Done for a month...ah...how nice. Well, I slept "ok" last night; by that I mean I didn't take a sleeping pill, but it took me a while to fall asleep. Eh, oh well.
Yesterday we had our first real snow!! Oh, it was so pretty. :3 It was very cool walking around campus from class to class with the snow falling on me. Sure it was cold, but for some reason, I never find it feels as cold when it's snowing. But yeah, it was awesome. Now it's sunny though...and some of it will melt away, but it was nice while it lasted. So in commemoration of the snow, I wrote a poem. ^^;; Last night, before going to bed. For once, it's not a depressing poem, which is what I usually write. XD It's just descriptive...and somewhat forced because those types of poems don't come naturally. *laugh* So here you go:
Frozen, white,
Crystalline light,
Shimmering in the day,
Sparkling at night.
Most delicate by far,
Frost-covered stars,
Falling on the road,
Collecting on cars.
First and last,
It comes so fast.
Here in the winter--
By spring, it's passed.
I know, it's really short, but I don't think I could've gone on much longer with that rhyme scheme. XD The first 4 lines came really quickly, but then I thought if I veered from that rhyme scheme, it'd be awkward sounding...so yeah. I hope you like it. ^^;;;
Anyhoo, down to business. Yesterday I didn't have to go to math class because they were only reviewing for the first make-up test, which I don't need to take. Yay. So I got to sleep in a bit, like today and thursday's schedule. I could've posted, but instead I had to eat more and study for the history quiz I had. So then I went to school, had history (the quiz was only 6 questions!! I over-studied), went to French...I got back my family tree project, and I got a 96 on it. She liked my creativity, and she wanted to keep it as an example (though she kept a lot). I got points off because of stupid typos. -__- SO LAME. If I could've handwritten the sentences out, it would've been better cause it's not like my Word has a French spell-check! >> Anyhoo, then I had English...did my little oral presentation, and I had no eye-contact. *sigh* Oh well, it doesn't count for much. So yesterday's history and english class were my last of the semester. :( I'm going to have my same english teacher next time (yay), but not my history, so hopefully my new teacher will be good.
Tuesday we finished watching Claymore. Oooh, it was so good. Yes, Gi-chan, you'd really like it. There really should be another season...so much unfinished business. Oh, but I was sad when my favorite of the Claymores died. :( Umm...anyhoo...so now I've started Darker Than Black; I've only seen one episode though, and so far it's pretty good. *nods* I've just be soooo busy for the past several weeks with schoolwork. I haven't had a break in so long! I've even been doing homework (projects, papers) on fridays and saturdays! Along with sundays! T___T At least next week is finals, and then I'm done. WOoooo~.
Today I have fashion marketing, and we're going to work in our groups and actually do the visual part of our presentation, which will be presented next tuesday. My part of this was to make the store's layout (sorta like a blueprint) and our promotional item, which we decided to be an ad that would be in a magazine. :3 So our store we've been creating is a "unique" jewelry store, a place you can get custom jewelry of any kind. Last night I designed the ad (in photoshop, of course), and i LOVE how it turned out. I really hope that my group members like it. T__T I'm proud of it; I think it looks like a professional ad! So yeah, here it is if you wanna see: (Our store's name is "Angelique Ciel", french for Angelic Sky)
Ok, is this going on for long enough? XD Sorry if it's really long! I think I've run out of things to say now. Umm...lately I've been really feeling anti-social though. :( Like I haven't felt like even going on here and bothering to visit. I just feel like I can never help anyone, and whatever I say just ends up making things worse or something. *sigh* I've been negative on myself lately as well...sorry...ok, now that that's out of the way, I shall bring this to an end. No AMV today just cause I don't have time to look for one...I need to get ready for school. So have a wonderful day, and sorry if I can't visit a lot again...cause I still have more crap to do, homework-wise. Argh. Have a good day!
