Hello, all!! Thanks a ton for the comments, as usual. You guys are the best. :3 *hugs* Wow, Independence Day dragged in several people that haven't visited in a long time! Lazyliz, Driffter, Anisgi (anime snow girl, you get a nickname!), and Gi-chan!! Gi-chan!! *hugs* Sorry, it's just felt like forever since I've heard from you! :D Same with any of you. Thank you very much for visiting me again. Some of you were rather mute on the whole 4th of July thing, but it was understandable since lots of you don't live in the US. Stixx, so Hawaii doesn't celebrate it much? Huh, that's interesting...i guess it makes sense. :/ Thank you tons to everyone for the encouragement with my walling! I'm glad I have fans and friends here that would like to see more from me. I hope that I can manage to make more...what with my computer! Anyhoo, arigatou again.
It's a dark morning...I think it rained during the night, but I wish it'd rain more during the day for me to actually enjoy it! And yesterday, as a few of you read on my World post (not very important, don't worry), we didn't get any rain, but the baseball game had a rain delay for 4 hours because it was pouring down so much! We're just 40 minutes or so away from the city, but I guess that makes all the difference for weather! Oh well. Anyhoo, I'm tired as usual...umm...I could've slept all day. Don't you feel like not getting out of bed at all? Like "What's the point?" -__- I get like that often. That's why I stay in bed past 11. I didn't have great dreams this time though; I had school-related dreams. Those are the WORST. Partway through summer, my subconscious decides to remind me that I'll have to go back to school in a month or 2...*sigh* Looming doom!
Ok, so, what to talk about? I guess I'll start talking about our Independence day weekend! Again, the holiday doesn't mean much to our family. XD We're not like some people that set off huge fireworks and go to parties and things! It was raining lightly on the 4th, so things didn't go as well as planned. We just do sparklers and little things like that, but they didn't exactly work in the rain...there was a lot of smoke. My brother got these exploding things (good description) and set them off, and they were REALLY loud!! I was so freaking scared...we didn't expect them to be so loud. Totoro was outside, and he was so scared for the rest of the night. :( Poor baby. Now he has a fear of fireworks, whether they make noise or not!! Um, that night, my brother Derek also came over to try and fix my computer. Instead, he made it temporarily worse...so that it doesn't even start up. -_- So I haven't been on my desktop for the whole weekend...no photoshop...I just wanted to finish that wallpaper, and now who knows if I ever will.
Saturday was a nothing day. I don't remember it at all. Yesterday was kind of boring since again I had to make use of my time without my precious photoshop. I played Persona 3 for a while...danced (DDR), and watched baseball all day. The baseball game started at 1:30 (day game), but it ended at 9 (was a night game)...why? Because of the rain delay that they occurred. It got to the 8th inning at about 4pm, but that's when they called it...so then it was the waiting game until the rain held up so they could resume playing, at around 7. And then it went even longer because we tied and went into extra innings...unfortunately, after all that awesome excitement and waiting all day, we lost. *sigh* We (the Phillies) were against the Mets, who are our rivals, pretty much. XD Darn it! We have to win today's game!
Sorry for all my baseball talk. A couple years ago, I wouldn't have paid any mind to it! But then, like i've said, we went to a game, and I started to get into it! Then after watching Oofuri, I liked it even more. Now I'm a freak. My brothers think it's the strangest thing that I like it so much now...I'm sure you all think it's crazy, too. I know a lot of you could care less about any sports at all, and you probably are all bored to death when I talk about it! So I'm sorry.
Last night, we also finished off our leftover firework stuffs. We do them on the porch...and well, that's not a good idea!! All of the sparks and things have totally ruined the wood--burned holes! Corey dropped several sparklers onto the porch, and I had to get the hose and put them out. Later, he also lit a bunch of those loud cracker things at the same time...they were exploding everywhere!! And yeah, those ruined the porch even more. I had fun spraying things with the hose though...
I need to order some manga...I think I'm going to from Borders online...
That was a random thought. :/ I guess I don't have much else to say, that's why. Other than Corey's usual annoyances, nothing much has happened. I'm tired of his wanting to buy more and more video games, and I'm sick and tired of having to be along for the ride! I don't CARE. I appreciate that he wants my input on what to get, but I honestly don't think he needs to buy anymore. Agh!! -__- Anyhoo, this post sucks...I've run out of things to say...although I had plenty in my mind last night while trying to sleep! Stupid overactive mind. Ok, short amv...it's just the opening to this anime I watched an ep of last night--Shion no Ou. I love this song. XD
